Lost in translation I guess, Santa is thought to come down a chimney, so if it were placed in front of a fireplace it might have made some sense. Then again there is the dark humour of trying to kill Santa, this may have been obvious to the rare few. I have failed at humour many times on this forum, due to several reasons. Usually it is the language barrier, because English slang, and nuance often elude me. But, mostly it is my failure to totally think through what I am trying to say....I believe the latter was your faux-pas.

In general, I do not bother with these issues  there is no practical sense in our hypocritical world ..

I generally do understand English Slang etc. The reason eludes me due to there is little reference. Just the door and a claymore. Someone is wanted to be blown up and would be surprised. It would have been so much better with some reference that would clue in the viewer more along the lines of what was being said by the creator. In my opinion though. 1
