Well, it seems I might have to test it rly. How many will have my back? Just as a reminder, there is no reason for this. The texture case: there are textures based on his still allowed on nexus, and there are way more on LM. Also, I have made no money on his mod (this is the only thing I could think would be justifiable). So, I am thinking, this needs to be challenged.

Ixum, i think you really should go ahead. By the looks of a lot of people here there are tons of people who want to help you! I know the best way is to start small, start with just the body, but you never know. Fans might also chip in and come up with all the other parts, like the armors and the jiggling butts and the uh... Horse dongs...

Just know that you have a lot of fans, some who love all your stuff, some who are into your vanilla kinky stuff and then some who are really into the extreme stuff. They will all help you if they can. Some of the recent posts have been a great example of an awesome modding community, take advantage of that.

I am very certain this ban is not about artistic protection. This is personal. That has been at the heart of this issue. Many here have testified the person in questin is hyper volatile. I am not asking the leaders of this community to host my mods, please, feel free to delete them all if you want to. I do ask this community to support my right as a mod user - and all of you as mod users - not to be bullied like this. There is no justification for my ban, there are no explanations other than that of a troubled modder, not a very sane imho, practicing censorship. Every moment this is allowed to happen, is a slap in the face for every mod user in Skyrim, and every other moddable game.

In regards to the ban its is very cut and dry. There is nothing more I can add to this conversation that hasn't already been said over and over. VP did this because his mod isn't being use the way he wanted it. We could sit here till the sun rises (Which is about in four hours for me- wait its that late?!) talking about who is in the wrong and what its going to do for everyone. In my opinion I think that is a waste of time now, we have talked about it, legally, morally and personally and now I think its time to be more active about the problem. VP isn't going to change his mind, he is not going to come out of that shell of a forum he hosts to realize what he has done wrong. Putting myself in his place I am seeing what he is doing... He is burning any bridge he can between here and his comfort zone because he isn't someone who can deal with problems and issues. Now this next opinion is my own and purely observatory and in no way is intended to be offensive or a form of any harassment, but if I was to meet VP in person I would think he would use every opportunity to shy away from any conflict, I think that is simply the kind of person he is, even if he created it, he would instantly shut out the problem and pretend it isn't there and not care about any consequences.

Now maybe its the lack of sleep or my inner challenger gearing up, but I think that maybe your next step is an obvious one. You have the fan base, you have the determination, maybe its time to revolutionize the next Skyrim body mod? You have people who are willing to help and i am honestly and truly surprised that you have not tried something bigger than what you have...

And yes okay I shouldn't really be putting my opinion in since I have mainly been a large wall flower when it has come to this community. But I can't help but look at this negative and see so much potential!

In conclusion, Ixum, not everyone around here is VP, and you are one of those great examples. If this post doesn't make much sense I am going to blame it on the lack of sleep.

Also... i was recently on VP's Forums and honestly, its very baron. There is only like four mods on there and I honestly think by the looks of the topics. It looks like VP's website is really just him drawing a line around himself and declaring it his comfort zone and anyone who makes him feel anything but happy is not allowed in it. (almost tempted on posting an angry post on there about something irreverent and seeing how he acts.)

Look, the only thing I can say about the conversation was it was heated, we did have conversations from before. It was opinions! I did not like his thoughts about mods. I told him that, albeit in a very aggressive way. I do not believe gay ppl should stay locked up and feed on str8 ppl feeding hate.

This was like 2 years ago.. Why now? Why would he decide he wants to destroy me right now? This while thing is still totally beyond me.

I'm not sure the community will support you if you continue making videos using SAM and something else happens as a result of that.

The way I read most of the posts here is : he is wrong and has no rights to do this, but you should comply and move on.

Right now the community supports you because he is seen as a childish aggressor and you as a victim with wise and mature behavior.

The last few months were quite turbulent for the Bethesda modding community. Lots  more drama to come with the Skyrim SE on the horizon and the last thing the community wants is even more drama and wars from inside.

Also if this escalates it will simply turn into "two queers bitchslaping each-other as they do". The road to hell is paved with good intentions...

Maybe I'm wrong but this is how I see the situation.

Hmm....

Well some of my info may have been very misleading, as from what I had read so far, the understanding I had, was that darkone and ladym had agreed to his requests and removed texture mods and such. If they haven't, then I would say you have very little risk from anything.

That being said,I would love to see a new body, and would willing to lend my assistance(learning blender, don't use papyrus very often, but familiar with scripting and coding, and very skilled with xedit, although I absolutely abhor using the ck). Also, I would love if you could work something out where the body has some level of customization(like sam) but could use sos addons? The main reason I never switch to sam was because I like lots variation in my npc genitalia. If you could create a addon of sorts to sos that would replace the body and introduce a morph system, but still allow for use of sos addons, It would be a huge success.

Joke would be you making the best Skyrim video ever with the assets he forbade you from using then wipe it under his nose until he overheats like a runaway nuclear reactor.

Maybe it's just me, but I hardly see how someone kicking him when he was down has anything to do with you. Assuming he didn't just post that to gather attention.

Well he does make the discussion we had two years a go sound a bit one sided. Sure I was a bit harsh with him, but he is just so sensitive to any kind of critique. So I went off on him, he goes silent for two years, now - as some sort of a twisted internet revenge - he had my texture mod pulled down claiming theft (still I had permission to use his assets, nobody elses texture mods based on his has been taken down), holds a modding community hostage (ladymoiraine.com) to get me banned. Sets up an EULA for his mod, sends me an email telling me my user agreement lisence has expired for his mod...

As Prinyo said, this is beginning to look like two gay dudes bitch-slapping each other.  Clearly, something personal is involved.

If a modder requests that you no longer use a mod, you can either choose to comply or choose not to comply.  I very seriously doubt anybody is going to court over a nude male 3D mesh and textures, unless it is copyrighted, and that could only be done if none of the mesh or textures were based on someone else's previous work.

So, use it if you want.  He can attempt to escalate his response, if he wants.  For example, he might start filing take-downs.  He might pull all public availability of SAM and respond to anyone who asks him about it with, "Blame Ixum."  Who knows.  It seems much simpler to just apologize and ask the guy what it would take to forgive you.

I have tried to discuss it with him, he has ignored every attempt.

Keep asking him what it will take to forgive you.  Maybe he'll eventually change his complaint from "you can't use my mod," to "please, just stop fuggin' messaging me.  Use my mod already!"

Even the beggars of Skyrim wouldn't stoop that low.

Fuck that guy.

Has that FU strategy ever turned out to be successful at the end of the day?

About as well as you'd expect. Feels pretty damn good, though.

Depends on if enough people do it or not. It's just like when a troll pops into a chat room and starts spewing crap if enough people mute them they get bored and move on because there is no one to spew their crap at. So if enough people say FU and move on they'll slowly disappear back into the nothingness that they came from and become forgotten.

I suddenly feel like this subject is a lot less serious, almost unnecessary of even bringing up legal talk. :P If it helps, he no longer is in contest wiith lady m and is leaving sam up on moraine until skyrim remastered comes out. At that point he might remake it, and he would host it on his website. But currently he doesn't even have sam uploaded on his website and just leaves it on moraine because that's where people know where to look for it.
