I've been having issues with the Maiden Liberation quest. It has popped up the message about talking to Elizabella since the content was first added but she as never had any dialogue about it when I go to the temple of Dibella in Markarth to talk to her. Nothing shows up when I have 2 words of the Love Thuum and nothing shows up when I have 3 words either. I have tried talking to her as a virgin or not. I have tried turning off all the recurring quests and waiting a few days. I have tried console commands to finish any open recurring quests also. I have tried to find the quest via the help command but there is no quest I can find looking up "virgin" "maiden" "liberation" "sacrifice" "cassia" or "nocturnal". Shout Like a Virgin is at the bottom of my load order and I run FNIS every time I update. Am I missing something to get that quest to start? Everything else works fine, other then Dragon Love and Word Wall Love.

There's no conditions for this to work beyond the condition that triggered the message (completion of Tales and Tallows).

You should have Maiden Liberation in your quest journal, the objective should be "Speak to Elizabella about saving Cassia" with a quest map marker on Elizabella. Do you have these 2 things?

  • If no, try SetStage VirginLiberation 10
  • If yes, but no dialogue, first try Player Reset in MCM
  • Still nothing... this should not be possible unless your save is corrupt, but you can try stage 20

Let me know how this goes.

LMAO now i make love to chemistry tables! i love it. literally. virginmarie how do you have these ideas?

This idea was mostly my Husband's as I'm way too sweet and innocent to make this stuff up :) Glad you are liking it.

Finally got to 4.0 and there is 4.1 already brewed up in the distilling flask!

Just wanted to say a big 'thank you' for The LilyPutIns scene, featuring the Dynamic Duo, Higgs & Boson (or whatever their names are   :P ).  It's very good!

And the changed effects are nice additions too.

Looking forward to trying out some new alchemy skills.  On that score, though, my PC may have been spanked a bit hard somewhere in the past, as I can't seem to trigger any Thief Chastisement events.  :-/   Any chance that you might pls give me a clue as to what Quest I might want to look for, and what stages I could maybe sensibly advance/reset to?

Otherwise, for your future developments, can I add a couple of thoughts? - not that you seem to need to much by way of additional imagination, given that hubby seems to manage more than well enough!

1 - The FlowerPower boys are very, very, polite, almost to a fault.  Any chance (as an optional MCM choice/setting, maybe) of their just jumping out of the undergrowth and carrying off the PC to a more direct, less consensual, encounter of her stamen and their pistils?.  No real need to make significant scene changes - the start could just be the equivalent of the 'worship' event, black ethereal chloro  ;), and the cage dialogue first line could change to something like "Oi!  Who are you and what are you doing!" - well, maybe a little more dignified as it's the DragonLady, after all  :)

2 - The PC could be given an event task as Nocturnal's sidekick, to go and find some poor female NPC(s), and use the gallows to do Berlin's Top Gun act on them, as punishment for having unduly enjoyed a night out - or night in, or whatever, this culminating in such an overwhelming Big O that they would swear off repetition for months.      Could be a named NPC, or much better, a selection open to the player with a multi use counted down repeatable task, starting with a target of, say, 5/10/15 times from an MCM selectable option, with report back to Nocturnal/another task perform for gallows capability/spell renewal?   However done, if the PC could be given the capability of placing NPCs on that gallows, it would be an addition many have said in the past, elsewhere, that they would like.  And I have a female Heimskr replacer mod, and I would really like  that whingeing minnie to be first candidate to try it out!

Anyway, thanks again....

No setting of a quest stage can start this.

In order for the Bodyguard to randomly come and notify you of a theft, there's these conditions:

  • Spank a Thief not already active. For example if you recover the statue but have not yet returned it to Elizabella, you will not get another quest. Do    SQV VirginThief    and you should see    State: Stopped    otherwise it's active
  • Cassia or the Priestesses are not currently looking for you for some other encounter - if they are this needs to complete before the Bodyguard has any chance of giving you the quest

You can increase the chance using "Spank a Thief" in MCM Encounters tab.

A long shot but to be sure nothing is stuck, it's worth hitting "Player Reset" in MCM.

Re. the suggestions I will think on them :)  Your second one is basically saying you'd like to go around asphyxiating any NPC?

On a topical note, if those nice Swedish people from Irresponsibly Kreative Environmentallysound Asphyxia did a knock down timber gallows flat pack kit, right now its sales would probably trump everything else in their catalogue   ;).  Or, to be more succinct, "yes"   :P

What's wrong with Dragon Love and Word Wall Love?

Thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate the help.

First off, there is no questlog entry. When I try to setstage virginliberation to any number (i.e. 10) it tells me that "item 'virginliberation' not found for parameter quest". In conjunction with liberation and virgin not pulling up virginliberation as a quest in the help menu means that every edition of the mod I have loaded since the quest was added somehow does not add the quest in a way that my game can recognize. Though the quest and it's dialogue is not being found by my game I also tried with a brand new save and the quest still does not work because the game cannot seem to find the quest in it's files. FNIS is working and gets run every time I update. It's at the bottom of the load order. I have run save tool to clean up any errant scripts from earlier versions of the mod. About the only thing I have not tried is to uninstall the mod entirely, save, clean the save of all this mod's scripts, and then reload. That would mean restarting everything from scratch and I'm not sure it would resolve the quest not showing up in the console commands.

For word wall love, any word walls, including the virgin love thuum all just play the default wall animation with no animation on the character like in vanilla skyrim. There is nothing in the console suggesting that sexlab has tried to initiate any animations when this happens. Maybe I just don't know under what circumstances the animations for word walls are supposed to trigger.

I'm not entirely sure how the dragon love bit is supposed to trigger. I have working dragon animations which work for other mods but they do not trigger on killing a dragon. I don't know if I have to talk to somebody to trigger a quest or something but this one is likely just an issue of my not knowing how to get the encounter to start rather then the animation not triggering.

Thanks for making the mod and adding lots of new stuff to it. I like that a number of otherwise unused zaz animations have found a home in your mod. I am hopeful that I will get to try out all the scenarios you have made since I have enjoyed the stuff I have been able to do so far.

Its safe to say with certainty, either the mod is not installed correctly, or you have a corrupt save. Corrupt save is the most likely.

The most common cause of corrupt save is not knowing or following what I call the golden rule.

This is not a FNIS problem. See my final point re. the new game test.

It's at the bottom of the load order. I have run save tool to clean up any errant scripts from earlier versions of the mod.

I don't recommend save tool. These are work abounds so you can try to avoid the golden rule. They eventually lead to a corrupt save.

About the only thing I have not tried is to uninstall the mod entirely, save, clean the save of all this mod's scripts, and then reload. That would mean restarting everything from scratch and I'm not sure it would resolve the quest not showing up in the console commands.

You are describing what people call a "clean save". This breaks the golden rule. Not recommended. It might work but is risky. If you follow the golden rule, you would only either straight up upgrade, or start a new game.

For word wall love, any word walls, including the virgin love thuum all just play the default wall animation with no animation on the character like in vanilla skyrim. There is nothing in the console suggesting that sexlab has tried to initiate any animations when this happens. Sexlab is not used for these animations. This is another strong symptom of a corrupt save.

I don't know if I have to talk to somebody to trigger a quest or something but this one is likely just an issue of my not knowing how to get the encounter to start rather then the animation not triggering.

Thu'um of Love is used to love dragons.

I believe your only route for success is to start a new game. Reinstall this mod first to be sure. Also, use this opportunity to sort your mods. This mod does not need to be at the bottom and would not be if you let a tool like Loot do it's thing.

If you start a brand new game, and the console commands still cannot see VirginLiberation, then you have a install problem and I can help if you show me the papyrus log that is from the point of starting the new game.

(see FAQ 12 if you are not sure how to get a papyrus log)

When sharing plugin Tropical Skyrim http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33017/? I have not started the story. The message "Your voice awakens the gods", but Cassia comes.

In Russia we have this mod (Tropical Skyrim) popular, so the questions start.

I cannot understand.

Do you mean "but Cassia does NOT come" ?

I need steps used, describing what you do and see, leading to the problem, and your papyrus log.

Tried reinstalling and new game again and still the quest does cannot be found by the game or initiated via console command. Don't have time to get that log now but will try to get that soon. I have tried new games every time a new version of this mod has been released and it has never been able to find that quest so it does not appear to be a save issue (as it happens on new games) and I would imagine that a corrupt mod would be resolved when the new mod was installed unless the problem was some bad script running from a prior release but all I know about mods comes from trying to get them to work not making them. Dunno if that helps any but hopefully the papyrus log will be more useful when I have time to get it.

Reinstalling a mod will not fix your save. This is why in such situation you can only start a new game to fix. Save cleaners can help but they do not fix everything.

You did not say if you sorted your mods. This could be contributing to your problem.

If you are starting a new game (absolutely no use of even an early save), and there's still a problem, then you've ruled out the save being the cause, and need to look at install issues. That's the purpose of the papyrus log.

If you are going to get a papyrus log please follow these steps to make it as useful as possible:

  1. Sort with Loot
  2. Start new game. This means you are not using any save at all, not even an early save. The log will show that you've started a new game.
  3. In this Mod's MCM first tab, run the "Verify Zaz Animations Working". Was it a success?
  4. in console  SetStage VirginLiberation 10     did the quest start? (note that if this worked don't proceed this way this is just a test and you'd now want this quest started in this way for your real playthrough)
  5. If the quest did not start, exit and attach for me the log created from doing steps 2 to 4.

This mod makes the main quest really challenging (if not impossible).  At High Hrothgar, Nocturnal keeps interfering and trying to enslave my character.  My toon is only spared and able to move the quest along because she's currently wearing a chastity belt (Sasha's from Cursed Loot). Even so, every shout brings long lag while Nocturnal appears and interrupts.

Would it be possible to make High Hrothgar, High Hrothgar courtyard and the Top of the World places exempt from Nocturnal? I would expect that the idiot monks have met her before and certainly Paarthurnax has so it would be plausible that these would be "Safe to Shout" zones due to other powers building protections into their area.

It's very rare that you have the initial encounter with Nocturnal while at HH. Normally this has already occurred and then things work fine at HH.

If not wearing the chastity belt, you'd not be stuck in the loop of the encounter repeating, so this is the  cause of conflict. Things would progress nicely, even with the encounter at HH, if that chastity belt was removed (you could for example use Cursed Loot's safe word to remove).

Sorted with loot. It puts the mod away from the bottom which seems to be against the golden rule but done. Started brand new game. Verify animations did not work, but it never has. Zaz animations worked normally though where I have places to trigger them. Setstage VirginLiberation 10 again says it is an invalid quest id and searching liberation only comes up with the vanilla liberation of skyrim quest. Log added to post.

This definitely breaks the golden rule if you don't start a new game. That's why you only sort  or remove mods when starting a new game.

Which means this mod never was installed cleanly.

Your log is very unhealthy. 901 Errors.  910 warnings.

Possibly the most relevant for this mod... right at the start there's 19 that look like this...

[02/20/2017 - 11:58:03PM] Cannot open store for class "iDDeUtilities", missing file?
[02/20/2017 - 11:58:06PM] Cannot open store for class "VirginAnalSkelKeyScript", missing file?
[02/20/2017 - 11:58:06PM] Cannot open store for class "VirginAnalBellChain", missing file?

With errors like this, it's no surprise there's big problems.

I could see that it's a new game. Thus the only cause can be from bad install.

The only thing I can think of that could do this is that you are using a bashed patch, and it's not being used correctly.

Are you using a bashed patch? If yes, suggest you get rid of it and try without unless you've exceeded the total number of mods.

If you are not using a bashed patch, suggest you use process of elimination to find the cause. This would be where you disable all but your minimum requirements, verify that's working, then start adding more mods in till you find it goes bad.

Hi.  Just skimmed your log.  I'm no expert, but here's my tuppence worth

1 - Zan Animations etc: does your load order include the 'SxLab ZazAnimationPack v0610 Patch to v0611'.  I can't be sure it is recognised in the log, but I couldn't see it, so may be worth a check?

2 - your 'new game' start.  Are you initialising 'everything' all at once?  Normally it's better to do things in some sort of ordered sequence, ie, base game mods and save, other game mods and save, sexlab fwk and save, and so on.  Just to make sure that the base dependencies for 'later' mods are in place first.  As I said, I'm no expert, but the 'appearance order' shown really would make one wonder if things are going wrong because what some mods expect to see isn't actually yet in place

Hope that might be of some help

1. Yes.

2. I waited for all mods to load before trying but uninstalling and reinstalling all mods would a. take an entire day to do with NMM, b. would change the ids of every script running in my main game and possibly make it unplayable like the last time I did that to troubleshoot a single mod.

Sorted with loot. It puts the mod away from the bottom which seems to be against the golden rule but done.

This definitely breaks the golden rule if you don't start a new game. That's why you only sort  or remove mods when starting a new game.

Started brand new game. Verify animations did not work, but it never has.

Which means this mod never was installed cleanly.

Zaz animations worked normally though where I have places to trigger them. Setstage VirginLiberation 10 again says it is an invalid quest id and searching liberation only comes up with the vanilla liberation of skyrim quest. Log added to post.

Outside of having all the sexlab core mods get updated and having the ensuing chaos force a loot update I never do it on an existing and already sorted game till now. I was not aware that it screwed up scripts but I had been following the rule because otherwise it would force me to rewrite all my batch files on a regular basis.

I have never bashed this mod, ever. I bashed a few mods from years ago where one small mod eats up 3-4 slots for no good reason (and the stupid milk mod which is like 6 slots) but since this is only one slot and updated frequently that would be a massive headache and of no benefit (btw, thank, you for making tiny functionality changes into mcm settings and not have each one install a separate mod like certain mods I know and am forced to bash to stay under cap).

Disabling like that would probably render my existing saves unplayable since it will change all the ids and will take at least an entire day since I am near mod cap and NMM is incredibly slow running installs and uninstalls. Guess I'm just SOL till I start a new game and don't mind losing my old one.

It's too bad there was not a less apocalyptic option (given how far into my current game that I am). I still really like the mod and enjoy whatever  content I can get to work. Thanks for your help. Hopefully I will get to try all the content out whenever I finish this playthrough and have a chance to nuke my loadorder and reinstall everything like I did before my current run over a year ago. I'm sure there will be a lot of interesting new stuff by then.

I'm having the sisters of dibella worship statue issue. I already checked the troubleshooting section and now moved shout like a virgin as low as it could go on my loadorder. I still can't worship at the statue however. Any way around this? Mother Hamal keep bringing me her notes too by the way even though i have around 10 of them by now. is there perhaps a quest that should have started or anything like that?

Hamal bringing the notebook repeatedly is a symptom of corrupt save (likely). If corrupt it's likely the cause of both problems (and more to come).

Changing sort order mid-play through like you did can corrupt your save as it breaks what I call the golden rule. If corrupt, it was however already corrupt before... if the Hamal Notebook thing was already occurring.

What many people do is use a save cleaning tool when breaking the golden rule, but the only risk-free way is starting a new game if you change sort or remove mods.

If you want me to confirm the corrupt save theory, please attach for me your papyrus log (#12 in FAQ section if you don't know how).

Also some questions:

  1. You say "worship statue issue". Do you mean you are having an issue activating the shrine in the Dibella of Temple? Or are you trying to worship the statue? There's both there.
  2. Which active quest objective do you see (exact wording please), and with that quest selected, do you see a map marker?

Thanks for the reply, i'll try try to attach the papyrus log in a bit, but basically the only change to my loadorder i've made is swapping sisters and shout like a virgin as far as i remember. Before that i've never broken the golden rule my entire playthrough. What i'm basically trying to do in the temple is clicking activate on the statue (the one with the invisible furniture in front) which i should do according to hamal's notebook.  I do not have an active quest for this and thus no questmarker.  Should I have one by now? And if so is there a setstage command for it?

I am running a lot of script mods this playthrough. Which is holding up impressively well with no other discernable issues so far, not even lag. But it could very well be the cause of me not receiving a quest.

Alright I checked a few things.  First i tried cleaning my save file. Which was perfectly clean already :D

Then i tried getting a log.  I didn't get a papyrus log however even after making the ini changes and playing for a bit.  But i did get apropos and sexlab debug files if that helps?

I also can't shake the feeling i'm just being an idiot and i'm not supposed to worship that statue yet but instead I just have to get dibella's blessing from the shrine.  When I do that however all that happens is it telling me A wave of arousal washes over me or something like that.  And then nothing happens (not wearing any devices).

Activating the statue is for a different quest called Erotic Asphyxiation. It should do nothing till that quest directs you to it with a map marker. So this is working correctly.

Hamal's notebook, when read, would normally start the quest "Shrine Love", and you'd have a map marker on the Shrine. If no quest and no map marker, activating the shrine will only give the blessing (from vanilla game). If reading Hamal's notebook did not start the quest and give the map marker, it's likely a corrupt save.

You can try these console commands (which do what reading the notebook should do):

Set VirginEnablePriestesses to 0

SetStage VirginShrineLove 10

Even if that works, you could be susceptible to more problems if the save is corrupt. Let me know if this helps, and try harder to get me your log if it does not. Those other logs are of no help.

Thanks, the codes worked!  I'm also fairly certain I did have that quest at some point. Not sure what happend there.  Seeing As i'm having no other problems this playthrough i'm just going to pretend this didn't happen.  If something else comes up i'll consider starting a new game however.   Thanks for the help!

The log is not too bad, but it's from starting a new game, as shown in the line below. Thus it's not telling us anything about your save. I suggest do what you said... proceed as is and see if more issues before worrying about it.
