Only monster girl NPCs have googly eyes, few monster girl NPCs use vanilla's eyes like Imperial Cleric don't have googly eyes.
puddles Posted June 2, 2017 Author Posted June 2, 2017 Okay, I think I know the problem. I'm uploading a .zip for you to drop into Meshes/Character/Imperial. BACKUP your "eyelefthuman" and "eyerighthuman" files (the nif, tri, and egm if you have all three for both), then drop these files in. Go find a MG NPC and tell me how it looks. imperial.7z
Justamerepleb Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Monster girl eyes are fine now. Apply the MBP patch to fix most of vanilla googly eyes after that, but only eyeReanimate, eyeOrdered and eyeOrc remain googly for some reason.
puddles Posted June 3, 2017 Author Posted June 3, 2017 That's because no one ever released a patch for those publicly. However...I have them. Textures/Characters/Eyes. eyes.rar
Justamerepleb Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 By the Nine Divines the googly eyes creep the hell out of me, thanks alot puddles.
DeltaFiend Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Any help with my issue, please? While the Tsaesci missing their lower body does not prevent me from playing the game it is rather troubling to see whenever I run into one of them.
puddles Posted June 3, 2017 Author Posted June 3, 2017 I'll be honest, to this day I still have issues with the Tsaesci's eyes and tail, on occasion. If you check in Meshes/Characters/BodyOverrides/PerRace/Female (or Male), check the Tsaesci_Lower Body. Is it there? Is it missing its texture?
DeltaFiend Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Well, this is rather embarrassing. The files you mentioned are indeed there but the folder they were in was named "BodyAssetOverrides" instead of "BodyOverrides" I rename the folder to the latter and what do you know the Tsaesci I had quick-saved next to now had a pair of legs. Â I do not know how this mistake came about but thank you very much for pointing me at the right place. Â EDIT: They do not appear to have a tail, however. Which if I am reading your post right they are supposed to have?
Justamerepleb Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Meshes/Characters/BodyAssetOverrides/PerRace/F (or M) do have Tsaesci_LowerBody.nif. In game when I spawn them they don't have lower body (invisible). Edit: When I load Tsaesci_LowerBody.nif with Nifskope, it didn't have textures.
puddles Posted June 3, 2017 Author Posted June 3, 2017 What's the texture path it's showing in Nifskope?
Justamerepleb Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 textures\characters\tbsknaga\female\LegFemale.dds
puddles Posted June 3, 2017 Author Posted June 3, 2017 Hrm...the somehow the BodyAssetOverrides folder must be out-of-date. The issue is that TES4File doesn't check that folder normally, so it won't check if textures are missing. This is 'my' folder with the correct texture paths. PerRace.rar
Justamerepleb Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 The textures path in your .rar file still wrong. It still point to textures\characters\tbsknaga\female\LegFemale.dds instead of Textures\monster girl textures\characters\Tsaesci\Female\legfemale.dds. The tail do look weird when they move. Edit: the Male one is fine, only the Female got the wrong path.
puddles Posted June 3, 2017 Author Posted June 3, 2017 Huh. I must still have the old texture in place. You should be able to just tweak the texture path by choosing the right location. I'm fixing that now on my end for the next version, though.
DeltaFiend Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 I possibly may have run into another issue. Are the Peeping Eye enemies supposed to be completely invisible?
puddles Posted June 8, 2017 Author Posted June 8, 2017 Like...the vanilla Wraith? I haven't modified that one at all. The Animate Blade is intentionally invisible: it's a creature using the skeleton skeleton with no mesh, wielding a sword. If you have a mod that modifies how weapons are equipped (UVIII, for example), that might keep the weapon it spawns with from being used/appearing. I'll double-check the .esp, though.
Justamerepleb Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 I do have UVIII install so that may explain why the Animate Blade is invisible. After I search in CSE there is a Wraith with Editor ID:Â MGPCreatureWrathfear, maybe that the one I encounter.
puddles Posted June 8, 2017 Author Posted June 8, 2017 Put it in the Clannfear folder under Creatures. Should work... MGPwrathfear.nif
Justamerepleb Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 Yeah it work, kinda dumb looking, was expecting a ghost Clannfear base on the .nif.
puddles Posted June 9, 2017 Author Posted June 9, 2017 I honestly don't know why it's still in the .esp: I had originally meant to remove it a long, long time ago.
MassFunction Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 Is mbp required for this? Some of the female monsters' faces look pretty messed up!
