Hello everyone,

 

this mod looks great, I like the variety it adds, it must have taken a lot of work.

 

So yesterday I tried installing it but it makes my game freeze for 1 up to 2 seconds multiple times during combat.

 

I did some testing, the results are in the spoiler.

 

 

 

1. it only happens when combat is either started (in any way: I get seen, i hit someone or someone turns hostile for like a quest) or ended (killing blow).
2. if there are multiple enemies only the first that enters combat and the last that dies trigger this.
3. it doesn't happen exactly every time but like 85% of the times, the freeze on death seems more frequent and longer
4. it doesn't seem to matter if creature or npc
5. it doesn't seem to matter if the enemy is from this mod or not
6. there are some enemies (like emperor crab or the vibrissa of hermaeus) that trigger it every time and after the death freeze a weird sound plays (i assume the sound they make when dying)
7.sometimes another freeze happens after the one on death. When it does it's before the dying sound.

8. Starting a new game or using a clean save doesn't help

 

 

 

I think i have installed the mod correctly, every version sequentially so that now I'm using the 1.81 esp.

I tried opening it in CSE just to look around and the console gave me some errors regarding an uncompiled script and problems with topics and quests.

So i don't know

 

Is OCO required or only recommended?

Are there any know incompatibilities?

Do i have to put it in a specific place in my load order (it's near the bottom now)?

Hm...can you post your load order? There must be some conflict with another mod. OCO isn't required, though: only Blockhead.

Without streamline the freezes are still there and some more freezes happen even when not in combat (tried on a new game).

The game overall feels choppy (i think thats the word)

This is pretty perplexing. The mod doesn't have any scripts that run during combat to cause the sort of lagging you're talking about, especially with enemies unrelated to the mod itself. Can you turn on your console debug and see what it reads during combat?

 

EDIT: Also can you test it without CoverYourself?

I am surprised.

Firstly i tested it without CoverYourself and the freezes were gone.

I thought "great, found the conflict"...........wrong.

I then re-added it to use the debug test (i assume it's the tdt command) and the freezes were not there, neither in a new game nor in my save.

My guess is that CoverYourself was storing some set of strings or variables in either your main save or maybe its corresponding OBSE save, and that data conflicted with the game with this mod activated.

Hello friends and sorry for the delay post. I was having problems with my internet but I'm good now.

 

I was compering the mod files in my game and the monster girl files were the only ones that installed empty (0KB). Oblivion Mod Manager kept reinstalling them empty so I extracted everything to a folder manually dragged all the files to my oblivion game folder making sure the files were not at 0KB. It WORKED!! everything seems to work normally now. From what I can gather OMM extracts everything to a temp folder on the C: driver wend making a omod but because I have very limited space in that drive it ended up dumping the data and only creating the paths in the omod.

 

Basically in the end the monster girl folders were to big for OMM to handle(that's what she said) in my particular case. Puddles and Fejeena Thank you so much for your help. You have no idea how much I enjoy this mod and refused to play without it. Ill report anything out of place and may you all have a good one. :D

I was going to say mediafire, but I managed to get everything with Megadownloader so there's no big need to upload it on other sites. Thanks for asking though, nice mod.

The texture archive, especially, is...really, really big even with maximum compression. That's why I had to use Mega originally. Glad you like it, be sure to report any bugs.

The silken aedric wrapping doesn't appear on my character when I put it on. I don't know if this was intended or if it only appears on the character I took it from.

Hmmmm...what gender is your character? Some stuff doesn't show up for males due to a model for it not existing yet. I've wanted to make male variants of stuff that's missing, it's just...low on my agenda.

Sorry if i sound like a n00b, but do i have to download all files up to 1.81? (1.75-1.81) or can i just install 1.81 right off the bat with the 1.75 core, textures and meshes?

Yes you want to download them all in sequence at the moment. At some point (probably when I do my next update, which is...hopefully soon), it'll all be packaged together again.

Hi again, I downloaded all the files and installed them MANUALLY (not sure if that makes a difference) and went In game, so far the only monster girl i've met that works is the xivkyn and all the rest have stretched textures (and the spider daedra is missing her spider body) if need be ill post my load order.
