This year they added a new voting system where a lot of the people at home had the option to vote for who they wanted but there's every chance that it was rigged. The 'judges' voted mostly for Australia (Which is apparently in Europe this year) but Ukraine pulled it with the people votes.

I have never watched Eurovision, yet I usually listen to my country's song and sigh as we are usually really bad.

 

Has anyone ever watched Vikings, and if so, is it any good?

I did watch Vikings, like the first episode of it and kinda got bored. Apparently it gets good in the later seasons.

Out of like 30 songs i usually like 3 from the eurovision haha. So 10%? Well well, still fun to watch when eating snacks too. And the rigging sucks i know. >.<

Depending on what you mean by Eurovision, 42 countries entered into the contest where 26 got through to the grand finale. I for one find the whole 'rigging' thing bullshit because a televised contest like this does not want to get slammed by lawyers from 50+ different countries. Rigging is fraud and any evidence of it WILL cause backlash.

 

England gave our 12 points to Georgia. Why? I have no idea, do we have anything to do with Georgia? Ironically our points were given out by Richard Osmand who British people might recognise as one of the hosts of a TV Show called 'Pointless'

Ya when i heard about these things it struck me as awful too. I've even heard that some country had their entry withdrawn from the contest because the TV station from there had millions in debts. Was it Romania i think. So the musicians had to take the hit, and that's why there was no sight of them at the semifinals.

 

But i usually just take it all lightheartedly, let them do their thing and watch the finals xD I liked the German entry, very cute. x )

 

Not very knowledgeable about Georgia and Englands TV hosts but i gotta peek into it later.

Woke up depressed and anxious again thanks to my dad being a fucking grumpy old prick.

I really don't get this prospect of 'Family looks after family'. It's fucking bullshit and everyone knows it, I look after the people I like, not some assholes I happened to be born to.

Here where I live, the district starts in middle of August, and goes to end of May.  Depending on snow days.
