Guest Vendayn Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 As title says, how did you last die?  I'll start   Was playing Skyrim, with a new game to test things out. Well, one of the mods I had conflicted with Deadly Dragons...and before my head was chopped off (the basic helgen start of the game)...I had FOUR alduin's land on the tower and breeze fire on everyone. I thought I was supposed to be immortal in this scene (or maybe not) and died a sad death.  My 2nd attempt, I had three alduins, but this time two of the alduins flew around and were "free roam". I did survive initially, but then got pwned by two alduins Â
swords and sandals Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Also Skyrim for me. Â When you first approach Whiterun in a game the chances are you'll see some of the Companions fighting a giant on one of the nearby farms. If you don't help out Aela will approach you if you get close enough and have a dig about you not getting involved. This always annoys me, because I often find even if I sprint wildly towards the fight as soon as it triggers they've killed the giant before I can do anything. So I usually bump the difficulty up to legendary so the big guy survives long enough for me to get some hits in. Â I did this on a level 1 character yesterday and then forgot to bump it back down. When the mudcrab I encountered a few minutes later was ripping my girl's guts out I was still wondering how in Oblivion it could take so much fire damage without going down...
Guest Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 I really don't recall when I was killed (in battle) last time.. maybe never because I'm always having very strong follower with me and very good equipment + lot of heath bottles, but had to kill myself 1-2 times because of some serious bug in the game that could be avoided only with "player.kill" console command.
Guest endgameaddiction Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 I could never die on Skyrim because I used SM Essential Player. Okay, that's partly a lie. You can die if you lose your health quick from your last weakened state. But it's not the start over from your last save scenario, no. You can look it up. I believe the author made a video and that was the only one that I liked of all other one's like it.
Darth_Falcon Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Was recently playing the demo for Ni-oh, as for what killed me? Well, pick an enemy and it probably killed me at some point, though the most memorable death was when I had some guy summoned helping me, he was just annihilating everyone. We're fighting one of the mini-bosses, and it's almost dead, so I try to go ham to finish it off and got one-shotted. Â Anyone unfamiliar with the game, Dark Souls set in 1600s Japan with brutality cranked up to 11, this game (to me) made Dark Souls look like child's play, though that could have been the mechanics, it has a combo system somewhat similar to the early dynasty warriors games. You can't just spam attack and get a steady chain, you can only chain like 4 or 5 hits.
Cynical Misanthrope Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I died because I thought I were badass when I bought a new spaceship in Rebel Galaxy. Â I was not.
the_mess Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I am in the beginning of Dank Souls 3 and I killed some guy who died very easy but 0.1 sec after that some huge thing popped from the guy, it was something like the crap that came out of the ass of the first boss when he's on 50% hp. And this thing hit me once with its giant penis or whatever it was, so I am laying on the ground and the bastard just continued to stomp me so I couldn't get up fast enough and ye - this is how I died.
ToJKa Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I was just about to warp out my flagship, a Dictator class cruiser The Great Illuminator, when suddenly the entire universe just ceased to exist. Chaos are more powerful than i thought  In other words, Battlefleet Gothic Armada crashed when i was about win an Assassination mission
NickNozownik Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 I killed myself in Half Life 1 because beam from the gauss gun bounced back right in my face gibbing me instantly. Then I killed myself with my own tripmine because I always place them on respawn points.
Kpnut Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Falling off a platform in Destiny after mistiming my jump.
Chbaakal Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 In Borderlands TPS yesterday I was killed by a train. Should have zigged to my left or right instead of backwards while under fire, and bounced off the platform....damnit! Â
Guest Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Died of hypothermia in front of my shelter while skinning a bear (The Long Dark). I would have considered it realistic, if I were a lemming.
winny257 Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 I really don't recall when I was killed (in battle) last time.. maybe never because I'm always having very strong follower with me and very good equipment + lot of heath bottles, but had to kill myself 1-2 times because of some serious bug in the game that could be avoided only with "player.kill" console command.  I am very often died, until I definitive had the snout full, I have in front fury the keyboard shattered! now I enjoy the game, because I can not die.  Â
ToJKa Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 Took a rocket to the forehead fired by a Cyberdemon. The original one. Well, atleast i killed 400 of his buddies before that
Kaz Aanh Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Went to Velen as level 3 and encountered 10 6-level-nekkers.
Yotix Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Lord of the Rings online, which I started trying out a few days ago. Elf char in some annoyingly hilly elven town."Oh the bridge into Hobbiton is down there ... Â I'll just jump, it's quicker than walking all the way around the hill." Â ... *SPLAT* Â The only time I died in combat this game (so far) was when I didn't notice the little "group quest" icon on some quest and attacked the wrong mob.Â
ToJKa Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Ultima Weapon in Final Fantasy VIII got me by spamming those damn Light Pillars. Â I was able to beat him the second time, thanks to spamming Squall's Limit Break on him. Â I never could beat him without spamming Holy Wars. Even then it was tough.
Lexi SubZero Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Eaten by this snakey fucker in Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Â
BoozeJunky Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 Playing Fallout 2. Â I tried to set a timed explosive in the bottom of an outhouse, then just stood around on the other side of the shit-hole where I was out of range because I thought that if I left - then what happened in that "cell" would not carry over to the world space. Â 5 seconds before the timer went off, it occurred to me... "what if the developers accounted for the methane gas all this poop would give off?" Â I got two hexes towards the ladder before my entire party was incinerated in the shittiest way possible.
saviliana Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 I never die. I am an old school RTS player. I can't die whenever I win or lose.
GodSmack Posted May 29, 2016 Posted May 29, 2016 In skyrim, my follower was about to die so i took a fire spell to the back, managed to kill most of em but then outta no where came JOHN CENA!! a dragur wight with like 600 hp. did not go well...
Molevalence Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Drank from a radioactive toilet and died from radiation poisoning. Wah wah...
Ghost Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Well it was in Skyrim the fight against Alduin on top of the mountain (Throat of the World). He is level 500 in my modded Skyrim and he one-shotted me with his Firebreath even though I had around 2000 Health.
