Implications of lust

Do I need to add to the LustX value(s) myself? Or do you already have scripts doing that?

They are already added, all you need to do is read the amounts in the ActorVAR Quest scripts for each major actor.

I'm not sure but I think LustX pills & Needles were already available in the Sexout Store, I'll add it to the Vanilla Chem formlists in SCR if I haven't done that already with BunX etc

So just read the Value SexoutSQVARZCass.DrugLustX etc and clip it to 100 for your useage

I also just realised Chase you're gonig to have to add the particular type of Semen for each Race/Creature as I have, you could just copy & cut from my SexoutPSexHappening Script from PregnancyV3, it's based on Sexout Notify. It's probably easier to just implement the LustX for now with your new stuff anf I just keep checking for sex normally till you have ironed your new stuff out, I've added the SemenTokens to the latest SCR anyway.

... implement several concepts of lust (maybe a monthly concept' date=' and maybe two or three orgasm based concepts, where each orgasm based concept has different rates, so they do not all go off together).

I can do that.

Lots of new ideas being floated, some sound interesting or even great, others give me mixed feelings ...

Hopefully you will provide MCM option switches/values for some of these features so that players can play in the style they prefer? Also I subscribe to the principle "keep it simple", especially when the benefit of the feature is small (a nuance or hard-to-model).

Yes... doing justice to any of these topics gets into conflicts between differing personal preferences and simplicity.

I have decided that the only way I can sanely approach this is to mention things I personally prefer and to not say anything if I cannot express my point in terms of a request which can be refused. Mostly.

However, after some further thought:

First, if you want to tune my suggestion of multiple counters, you can do that by changing how much each contributes. This could be an MCM thing or a personal mod thing.

However, I am going to guess that you were really hinting in another direction: If Lust were a "hardcore need" like the other hardcore needs then it would have uniformly negative effects, every 20 lust (perhaps -1 reduced intelligence or perception every increment and something extra, bad, when things get a lot worse), and would perhaps be lethal when you reached 100 lust. (Or you could scale it to 1000 and then the increments would be 200). And then we could have perks which add something positive to the negative effects.

The way lust is currently designed, though, it's not really a game-style hardcore need. (And, I doubt it makes sense to have people dying of lust. The "masturbate anywhere" mechanic, though, might be considered equivalent to dying?)

Anyways, the point of this sort of design would be that you mostly try to keep your lust below 20 (or 200), unless you had the perks which encourage you to flirt with disaster.

This sort of "game pattern hardcore need" could be a viable design. But I think that it should be renamed, if designed this way. Instead of naming it "Lust" it should be named "Needy".

I think there should be a toggle for the "hard for women to orgasm" thing. It might be true of some women, but I know of quite a few who it isn't difficult for.

This could be a trait, with perhaps some perk(s) [perhaps awarded on quest completion?] to overcome it.

Perks/traits will let you customize how much of an impact lust/arousal is on your experience. By default, lust/arousal will be non-invasive. You'll need perks like "Nympho" to get force masturbation and such. The orgasm system will always be on, but it doesn't do much on it's own, and you can still customize sex length. Several MCM options will be removed, but most will return in other forms.

And please, sen4mi, I'd rather have too many opinions than not enough.

Cool. While I think sex length should generally depend on an arousal/orgasm system, it's good to have an opt-out for scripted scenes and the like.
