OLD - Sexout Pregnancy- Locked Thread (Do Not Use)

Started playing around with companions' date=' have no idea why but the actor effects like 'SexoutP2EFertilityF' were getting removed when you load a different area, whereas the effects applied to the player persist.

 

After rolling back SCR from version 23 to 19 the effects started persisting again between areas (I assume the working script is automatically re-adding them)

 

Anyway, just wanted to alert you that there may be an issue with SCR.

 

trying to get the scripts moved onto armor instead of effects, but I found some real strange showstopper issues with it so converted back to effects, but I've somehow broken fertility a little in the process. Hopefully sort that tommorrow so I can get an update out for you

 

Looking at the date you posted that and the date SCR was updated, perhaps those issues were with SCR changes and not armor effects?

There are some really wierd effects with NPC's & effects, I found that my fertility script would un fine on a companion as an object effect in an armor token, but as soon as it activated the BodyEffects Effect, it seemed to dispel, then the BodyScript ran ok, it's like there is some sort of limit to the number of effect scripts on an NPC.

Yet when I swapped nback to just effects I can run 3 scripts at once on an NPC just fine except they reset going through doors. It's a possibility the clothing effect scripts in SCR are involved I guess, I'll play around some more, my cureent fertility problem is something stupid & minor, scripts are running but some calculations aren't working.

I just had a look and zeroes are all good :)

I think my naming convention is confusing the random percent is actually the Target Number

 

Yeah sorry I didnt mean to imply that there was anything wrong with zeros, was more this:

if fTimeMissed > .0003

Being called ~twice every ingame minute (.00069)

 

I know it dosnt make perfect time and there will be a bit of loss (especially when waiting/sleeping) but thats 138 dice rolls per game hour which works out at about 75% chance to roll a zero.

Ahh now I get where you're coming from, no problems, will tweak it a bit more.

 

Good news is I fixed the bug I had in fertility and also may have got a fix for effects reseting, I think it was not detecting the effects on the companions straight after passing theough doors, so I put a delay in so it doesn't readd the effects to npc's. Seems to have worked, got a bug in birthing to sort out for tommorro before releasing an update.

If you have a nude body and clothes on at the same time the clothes must be in a different bodyslot, Pregnancy only swaps clothing in the upperbodyslot, what outfit is the clothing?

 

Its done it with both the vault 21 jumpsuit you get from doc mitchell as well as the powdergang slave outfit you get in tryouts at NCRCF.

Ahh now I get where you're coming from, no problems, will tweak it a bit more.

How far did version 3 get ?? I haven't played it since version 2 something. Then got a bunch of problems. from script errors. Does pregnancy work now ??

 

I am about to fully reinstall New Vegas and most of it up to date. :P

It's nearly to beta Donkey, your animations inspire us all to keep modding mate :)

 

I've got one bug in birthing to sort out and some testing before the next release which will hopefully be the best Pregnancy so far.

 

I checked out Scorpions and didn't see why birth exhaustion shouldn't have been working, but I did fix a couple of little things in there and a couple of other pregnancies, still got a bit to go, but I think they are all functional except Spore Carriers which may work but not the way I want them to which is like to the old system with 2 possibilities the Spore Carrier or the Spore Pods. I also did some more on the Symbiote Impregnation/Pregnancy too.

 

Then I need to add some text messages, and look at Doctor Usagi & Sexout Store Doctor for treatments. I've also got a bit to do on the Drug Ammo & Perks.

 

I haven't brought Sykrim et but now there seem sto be a bit of progress in sex animations it's only a matter of time and when I see it on Special, so I need to get this finished before Xmas so I can port it over :)

when you say port you probably mean "rewrite" since skyrim as I understand it uses an entirely different scripting language. Just to keep us on our toes I guess.

That's good news. Time for me to update all my other mods then. Looks like the real important stuff is about done, I can add cool stuff as I go. :D

If I wanted to add sex doctors to a mod, would I do it through here, SCR, or main sexout? I'm intending my orphanage to also have a maternity ward and family planning clinic.

Well I don't know much about dialogue, I'm also suspecting there are going to be different services offered by different doctors, some advanced stuff is going to need a full mediacal clinic, some diagnosis stuff could be done by anyone wearing a stethescope like at Novac. There is a SexDoctor in SCR that I may be used in SexoutStore.

What may be best is to have the Doctors themselves in the esp's and maybe just put the Service Spell scripts all in SCR and choose from them.

I just loaded up the latest damn near everything and tested it. These might be meaningless as it is clear the mod has undergone several changes even since that latest, but I err on the side of helpful.

 

My Courier completed a human pregnancy no problem. Rex did not give sperm, but I see on this thread that is a known issue. I was unable with my male or on my female encouraging others to fuck em able to get anyone but my courier pregnant; There were no messages it just did not seem to happen. I tried Sunny and Cass on my scanner and they were 0'd out. I realize, again, there have been a lot of changes, but there you go.

I would suggest adding the top-level topic(s) ("Do you perform [service]?) in SCR. Then have a variable in SCR that = 1 if the Pregnancy .esm is active, and add a variable check for that on the top-level topic(s). If Pregnancy is inactive, the dialogue never appears for the player as the variable = 0.

In the Pregnancy plugin, you would then supply the proper dialogue. This would allow me to not require Pregnancy for the Store but still allow the dialogue to work properly.

 

I suggest this specific approach because I assume any scripting for these sections would require references to records in Pregnancy. If they wouldn't, then you could just build all the dialogue in SCR and just do the variable check for the top-level(s).

Sounds like a plan, I already have SCR pull the pregnancy version from pregnancy and clear variables if Pregnancy isn't present, just need to drop that into a global I think for it to be checked in dialogue.

Dialogue conditions can check quest variables just fine using GetQuestVariable. I'm assuming that's the type of variable it's using, and not just a local in the script.

Well that's pretty cool, I have SCR check clear a Pregversion variable on startup, then when Pregnancy starts it alters that to the current version, so that would be a great way of checking if Pregnancy is active. I might have a poke with dialogue soon once I get to beta.

Did you set the options in MCM to allow others to get pregnant?

 

The answer was more interesting then yes or no. It seemed to default to "2" companions only (which I did not realize) but companions were not getting pregnant. Setting it to 3 worked fine, babies all around.

Fixed timing of birthing so it's clock based and isn't too fast for some people

 

Bodyswapping improvements, still got to work on the Nude bodysuit to removal.

In VH if the doctor feels that an abortion is too dangerous she administers some herbs and pretty much makes the pc go into labor immediately, against her will.

 

I dunno if that would be appropriate or not.

 

Also in VH and nanocrisis the player can continue playing/fighting during labor but they keep getting interrupted by contractions and hold their belly or double over.

 

Another VH feature is that that when the pc goes into labor she can 'hold it in' so to speak and delay the birth pretty much indefinitely. This currently has no consequences in VH but I'm sure you could come up with something.

Was moving some of the changes I made in my own patch over to your new version and thought I might throw some of them at you.

Shoot me down if you have a good cause for this but is there any paticular reason for animal semen using 'fPregLengthAdj' when every other type is based on 'fSemenOvaLifeAdj' ?

While messing with longer pauses between ova fertilization checks i noticed that somtimes a check would trigger when the 'iCurrNumOva' was still a few script-cycles away from being equal to 'iSetNumOva' so i made it do all the adding (and removing) in a single frame.

I still cant get it to process the correct ammount of fertilization checks after waiting/sleeping though :( i've been toying with a check every 10 game minutes on the idea that sleeping 3 hours should trigger 18 fertilization checks all in one go.
