gballest Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 New Update 20120602: Various fixes I Hope Works on Condoms & other protection Diseases in SCR may be functional A bit of confusion, which version of SCR are we supposed to use, the one in this Threads OP or the one in the SCR thread, both are different. A few initial notes Medical scanner gives option to scan Lily, Arcade, Boone, Raul and Rex, all are male (kinda) if I am not mistaken. Still works if you get close to female companions like Sunny. Did you remove the test box from Doc Mitchells house? BunX effects do not wear off, took BunX pill BunX level stayed at 24.5, waited for 4 days. New character, Hispanic female - Using SCR and Preg versions from this thread EDIT: 21Day BunX does the same thing effects stay at 500. Also BunX appears to be broken, previous versions when BunX is used Ova is removed but with this version they are not and Fert Lvl and Cycle act like BunX is not used.

The scanner will scan all companions for drug levels, it should show zeroes I hope for pregnancy values on males. I'll have to do something more detailed on the scanner later, I've also got to set up the ref/distance checks for the ones I added so they only show when close enough.
Halstrom Posted June 3, 2012 Author Posted June 3, 2012 New Update 20120603.1Alpha: Not a great deal, I've been hammering some SCR bugs out this week, updated the timing system to the new version from SCR as I found scripts weren't running regularly and just locking up at times. Seems to be functional still from sex to birth, hopefully can get back into it this week, condoms may now work too as well as diaphrams and the APFIsuit. You will definately need a clean save for this one, I found some reall weird stuff happening, I couldn't workout after poking it for a few hours, clean save fixed it all, something to do with quest scripts getting stuck in a loop. You need the SCR update and also the updated datapack.

DoctaSax Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Entirely unrelated to recent posts: I was wondering if some actors - male and female - could be declared entirely infertile, perhaps via an SCR actor formlist that would be checked by the relevant pregnancy scripts? Because sometimes the little wrigglers don't wriggle so much anymore, and other times they just drown on dry land No rush though.

Thanks, will check it out, my testing there was rushed so I probably missed something. And good idea, I'll either create a formlist or add an infertile token / effect.
4nk8r Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Removed my comment about pregnancy length, since I see you are doing it by days as I was suggesting. Not sure if you're already taking injury into account, but it would be interesting to either have an early premature birth or miscarriage when the character drops below 10% health or something. Also something similar for drug use? Maybe mutations and the offspring is hostile at birth
4nk8r Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I'm trying out the new PregnancyNG alpha with the new SCR and I'm getting a message that says PregNG thinks my SCR is 20120531.1 instead of the new 20120603.1 (both esm and data) version I just installed. This is the first time I'm trying the PregNG alpha, but I did previously have SCR 2012531.1. Is this some kind of lingering variable in my saved game, a failure to update the reported version of SCR or something within PregNG not recognizing the version difference? Edit: I do see a msg for the initialization of 20120603.1, so I'm sure I'm using the right version.

luinil Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 preg version 3rd june + lastest scr No problem getting pregnant on 10 percent fertility for female.first time! 1 gestating human Got body swapping and cloths swapping, think i had to remove/wear stuff, but my clothes went p1,p2, p3 but my preg body suit went to p1 then p2.NO p3. Cool messages like you are craving .. Belly bulging you are definitely pregnant etc you feel sick etc Grown seemed reasonable didn't get first bulge to about 25 percent or so with 1 gestating human Got birthing stuff but wasn't forced to knee/lay down ?there was a counter visible and running for per 10 percent , 20 percent . etc very fast maybe auto remove of cloths for birth? debuffs etc ok for pregnancy ..forgot to check if they went away after pregnancy. 1 child give birth to Strange thing after birth in my inv was one pregn body suit (p2), it did not disappear after birth.SO i just dropped it.Checked inv and I had another preg body suit in inventory p3, the one that did not appear during pregnancy.Dropped it as well.Decided to pick up one of the preg body suits (p3) put it on and then couldn't remove or drop it :)Instabun
Halstrom Posted June 4, 2012 Author Posted June 4, 2012 Thanks for the feedback I'll look into some of those tommorrow night. New Update 20120604.1Alpha: Fixes for Pregnancy not progressing, found a boo-boo in timing. Improved the Actor fertility selection, there is now a MCM slider for both male & female 0 = Nobody has fertility 1 = Player only 2 = Companions 3 = All Note this only currently stops fertility from being added to Actors as they have sex, it's too late to do anything after they are added, will fix that tommorrow. You now have the option of being the only fertile stud/studdette in the wastelands...........
Halstrom Posted June 4, 2012 Author Posted June 4, 2012 What are peoples thoughts on the Fertility enable sliders, I'm now planning them to work as is at zero but if set to -1 they will remove all the fertility scripts, that way you could turn fertility on for all NPC's for a particular Random NPC encounter then turn it to zero again so no other random NPC's get knocked up. Alternatively I could have a heap of checkboxes, but I'm running out of MCM room
Guest user29 Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Can always add a new tab to the options to give yourself more room. You know I always like toggles.
Mashi Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Toggles are good, they're simple too. Especially if you're running out of room.
ljacquard Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I like the options you seem to have implemented (have yet to test them in game, sorry, but I will get there!), MCM toggles included : New Update 20120604.1Alpha: Fixes for Pregnancy not progressing, found a boo-boo in timing. To be honest/blunt, the rest seem like a waste of CPU cycles better invested into something else to me. I realize it's a personal preference.

I agree.....I would only like to see my courier and companions get knocked up...
Guest user29 Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 halstrom would it be possible to default all male custom races to "male caucasian" or something for testing purposes?
Evilrunner Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 While I am mainly interested in the courier and co getting pregnant, the extension to all NPCs does mean that non-standard companions can get knocked up (thinking Willow mainly). Pretty much necessary if you want to play a male and knock up random NPCs I suppose it depends how you play, the option to selectively disable is certainly helpful if you only play a female courier + Cass, Veronica and Sunny.
4nk8r Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 I am using Brutal Rapers and I just maxed out everything in an area with multiple NPC's and watched the rapefest occur. I saw a messages about some preg effect being added, and I can see the console output reflects the fpreg value higher than 0. I haven't seen visible pregnancy or birth yet. Still working out some stability issues regarding CTD, which I believe is Body by Race. Removing Armor by Race certainly extended my stability. Going to disable BBR and restart the rapefest to test. My vote is to allow NPC pregnancy. While it really only matters for the player and companions, for realism it should be there. Maybe a toggle in MCM to select? [Edit: There is a 0 1 2 selection in MCM to adjust NPC pregnancy] Something I edited out of a previous post was regarding pregnancy length. I think instead of a percentage slider, use the days/hours until birth. That way there will be no confusion on how long it will take.
saladboy21 Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 I am away from home and can't test atm, but I like the idea playing as a male of knocking up whoever I have sex with. As a female it matters less but companions I definitely want. I guess everyone being able to get pregnant would be ideal, but I am fine with being able to adjust it.
Evilrunner Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 It definitely adds a nice touch to the mod. Companions really have no reason to disable fertility, in my opinion. One thing sexout does well is include them in everything the player can do. They can prostitute with the player, get enslaved with them and get knocked up with them (I don't think I've actually used any birth control in the mod as well, so it's quite often ) If you're male though, I do think NPC fertility adds a nice bit of immersion. Little things, like accepting Sarah Weintraub's 'reward', then coming back to find her pregnant would be pretty cool
Guest user29 Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 If he gets super mutant male pc's functional I'm totally going to go on an impregnating rampage.
