Hi ffabris,

Currently re-installing Skyrim with freshly downloaded mods.

The Manipulator is saying on the info page that I have PapyrusUtils 3.2 loaded and giving the '3.3 required. Things will be broken.' message. The version I have is 3.3 and shows as such in NMM. I'm using the latest version of The Manipulator too.

ffabris - Since i have no time to be on LL long for I'm working a lot and don't have time to find the answer on my question if it is already answered. My apologies for that. I have one question and one notification.

 

Question - Did anyone continue to work on this mod or we still waiting for someone to take it over?

Notification: Manipulator can't find Tonilia, the member of thieves guild if my PC is located at any other place in Skyrim. He must be located in Riften. So, If I have to load my relationship with her that I saved in Manipulator in previous game, I have to start the new game in Riften. Otherwise, the mod behave like we never met. Wish if that could be fixed. Thanks.

That isn't this mod really, but how Skyrim handles certain NPCs. I ran into that problem with quite a few other NPCs, and it mostly revolves around whether the NPC has certain home properties set or not that make it "persistant" and load when you're not in the cell.

Should work if you use the most recent SexLab.

No idea if anyone has yet taken it up, or will. I don't follow forums anymore; I just check for posts to my mod support threads.

I am also having this issue and I made double sure I installed the latest version of both sexlab and papyrus. Still, it gives me this message, I even checked inside osa to see if that was the reason why, but that mod to is up to date. I don't know what to do.

 

 

Edit: To anyone still having this conflict no matter what, check your mods to see if they are using the latest version. So I went back and check every mod using the papyrus or overwriting any files on it. As I said I checked OSA and it is using the latest version. The other mod in my load order I discovered using and overwriting the papy was Simply knock. For the play threw I'm setting up I didn't need the mod installed so uninstalled it. I just booted up the game and the manipulator is working and registering the current version of papy. So to anyone having these issues with the current papy and sex lab. Its confirm another mod causing the issue. Hope this helps

I'm using the latest versions of everything too. I've never had problems with Manipulator or my Sexlab setup so I was thinking it might be another mod causing the problem. I don't use Simply Knock so I will have to have a mooch around to find the culprit.

At a guess, some mod may be installing an older PapyrusUtil.

Usually the best way to handle an issue like this is moving the (in this case) Papyrus install later in the MO or NMM load order or just re-installing it last and over writing the other mod's included files. JContainers is another utility type mod that is included in mods from time to time and falls out of date when the mod author stops updating before the utility authors do.

Yeah, that would work for sure. I was too scared to move it lower in my large load order though and was happy to find the culprit to the problem. I have a question, if I was to replace the old papy files within Simply knock in with the current version of papy, would that of worked to help the problem as well? And if so can that work with any mod doing this to the papy?

I have this issue too. But I'm sure I have the latest version of Papyrus installed. I just ignore it. Haven't run across any issues at all.

Hey ffabris, downloaded the latest version. Did you remove the ability to assign keys to functions? Like storage, crafting, and Places?

 

NVM. Worked it out. Removed EFF which included a copy of UIExtensions. Installed UIExtensions and all is well.

So I'm having a lot of issues figuring out the outfits. How do I figure out which mod contains the outfit, and what if the mod's name is too long? I feel like I must be doing something wrong. Sorry!

Are you trying to work on the outfits in game using the MCM?

 

Do it out of game. Open the CK and open the ESP from the armor mod you want. Scroll down to the Outfit category, and look at the hex code for the outfit.

 

Open the outfit json file in notepad or other simple text editor and fill in the hex code, ESP name and your name for the outfit.

It should work with just about everything. It doesn't deal with perks so any of those overhauls won't be affected.
