not sure how it all works with SS2, but can't you just pretend it's not there/ ignore it altogether?

I could, a mod disabling it altogether would just remove it from a few HUD elements and the like. Not to mention avoid my gf potentially building there when I finish the LO. ?

sadly, I haven't heard of such mod..

then again, I usually play with minimal hud, so there's no way someone would know what area can be used as settlement and which one couldn't. (unless they played the game long enough to know it)

Several things would have to happen to do this properly. You'd need to edit the quest to remove RR from the Workshop list and you'd have to remove/disable the workshop that's at RR, plus you'd need to edit the quest so that dogmeat was still available but doesn't trigger the RR as an available settlement. All in all not quite the simple matter some think it is.

Huh  knew the quest regarding the settlement would have to be changed but didn't realize dogmeat was tied to it. Thanks!

There is a mod on my blog that disables the rr as a settlement, no idea how well it works long term, as I have not really played the game much with it installed, I keep changing my mod list so never really got much further than the start area, though from what I remember it still does allow mutt to be acquired.  I also do not use sim settlements so not to sure how well it would work with that.

Yeah... I might check it out. Thanks! ?

 

Probably just go with the ignore route, or at least wait until I finish patching the rest of my LO. As it will probably be needed to be patched with most things touching that area and so on.

It's funny about dogmeat, I skipped the starting quest for the MM so I didn't do RR or Concord but when I got Nick and went to Kellog's house Nick Called Dogmeat by whistling for him and when I talked to Dogmeat at the start of the Reunion quest/ end of Getting a clue quest I got the notification that I could now use the workbench at RR. I've not even been to RR and I'm pretty sure that the mole rat den is also tied to the activation of the RR as a settlement. ?

Maybe not too much patching as from what I remember all it does is remove the keywords that make that location a settlement, as well as move the red workshop bench underground, though it does still allow you to use all the workbenches there as any other ones, do as long as it is pretty late in your load order it should work ok, though you may need to check if you use any mods that affect that rr, and make sure that the keyword changes and move of the bench win over the other mod.  From what a couple of other people who chimed in when I was trying to work out how to remove the place as a settlement, the changes in the keywords should stop any radiant quests dealing with settlements from sending you there, or basically any other scripted instance that uses those keywords to define settlements.

 

To be honest though I always though it a bit odd that those two locations so close together were both settlements, but non of the others were anywhere near each other, if the water had been deeper in the river the I could see what they were thinking, the rr settlement would be a guard/blocking post for the main sanctuary settlement, but with the water level so low it pretty much renders that pointless as they can just wade across the river without too many problems.

Anyone know any other animation mods (running, walking etc.) other than the two on the nexus - Girly Animations and Just New Female Animations?

The only information I've obtained is that "The password starts with w and is located at the northeast end, and it is a famous place on the continent of Tamriel, where the university is located."

 

Northeast end makes me think of either the College of Winterhold in Skyrim, or in Morrowind to the NE.

They're the only things that make sense there.

As for the password, I think you need a lot of Elder Scrolls knowledge to get the password, something I lack.

I tried most of the fallout factions (don't ask why..), and tried some of the skyrim related locations (winterhold being one of them).

So did I. Nothing.

 

I even looked up the entirety of Tamriel, and the map showed Morrowind, which is north-east, so it could be there.

sometimes I wonder, why can't the password just be like "1234" or something :D

 

I get that some authors lock the files so the mod doesn't get stolen and sold as if it was made by someone else..

Just realized all the mods on that page are from Raccoo'n'Roll.

Basically the mods were pulled from their patreon..
