Just wanted to ask if somebody can make a mod where armors from mod in spoiler are worn by BOS members? I tried to do it by myself but CK is always crashing :/ would be great if someone can do it for me. Especially if high rank BOS members wear black SS uniforms and ordinary soldiers wear feldgrau (grey) uniforms

What I would love to have are sci fi styled turrets. Something that looks like a rail gun or something large resembling large starship gun turrets. I really don't care if they shoot nothing but regular lasers, I mostly just want them for looks. Hell, I'd be somewhat happy with static models.

I've just bought a new computer and finally broke the minimum requirements barrier for Fallout 4. I've spent a fair bit of time downloading files from Fallout nexus but what I haven't yet done is checked out what's available here. I'm not so much interested in the sex mods but I find there tends to be cool outfits you can only get here. I'm going to take a look around of course but what I find both here and nexus is that if you aren't a regular there tends to be a lot you'll miss. Like on nexus there are some cool mods that aren't in the top files because they were made this year so only have few hundred endorsements vs the file from 2015/early 2016 with tons of endorsements because it's been around much longer.

 

EDIT: I've found the file but the texture doesn't look quite as good as in the video(Though IDK if it could have been due to an ENB/ReShade/etc). I think the youtuber probably edited it. Original file is here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21354/?

 

It could be something on my end but in-game the chrome parts looked more "dark gray" compared to in the video.

Here's some things I'd love to see. Some of these I was going to attempt but just don't have the time.

 

1) Equip your own turret. You would place a weaponless turret using the build menu then give it what ever weapon you are holding and it would fire that.

 

2) A follower that recognizes you as a synth or robot and comments on it. Can be funny and comment about no one else noticing.

 

3)Power Armor Backpack. A bulky set of power armor. Basically a walking set of bags with ridiculous carry weight.

 

4) Automatron mod to make a large Jangles the Moon Monkey robot.

 

5) Large scifi turrets for settlements. Something akin to a large gun emplacement

 

6) A stargate (like the one mod for skyrim)

Many locations have placements for kidnapped settlers as part of the radiant quests to bring a settlement into the Minutemen network. Is there a mod that adds generic settlers to locations who can be freed and sent to populate settlements as a reward for exploration/alternative to radio beacon and wait?

That would be a nice option.

 

There are also the random encounters where you find settlers being attacked by whatever, being able to recruit them after killing whatever that was attacking them would also be nice.

 

You also find super mutants moving prisoners around sometimes, being able to recruit those people after you rescue them would be a nice option as well.

 

There is also the random encounter where you find the settler begging for pure water, being able to offer them a place would be good as well, sometimes they should refuse because they already have a home, and just got caught out by something on there way back.

 

Not seen anything like that though.

In skyrim there were some mods like NPC85 and SOGS that were very nice.

There were multiple mods for Skyrim for a more 'realistic' first person experience. I ended up going with IFPV because I liked the result the best.

 

 

 

So I'm not looking for a mod like Enhanced Camera or The Joy of Perspective. I'm looking for a mod like IFPV that works for Fallout 4. Does one exist, and if so, where?

I was wondering if there's a mod that allows players to gain XP from more than just crafting/killing, things along the lines of the little accomplishments that go otherwise unnoticed? Things like Saving an NPC (the unprotected ones), Ending an encounter without taking damage, or even successfully stealthing away

 

For context, I'm using Erez Kristal's wonderful Immersive Gameplay mod and I started looking at first for a way to increase my XP gain, but afterward thought it would be more interesting if we could level up a little more like in Skyrim, and perhaps a bit better, rather than just throwing you XP for the same actions as it does now. One of the main draws for Immersive Gameplay is that it doesn't just increase difficulty by making enemies bigger damage sponges-it makes the game more dangerous for everyone in it, changing gameplay entirely. I think a good XP mod like this might do something similar.

I'm thinking things that give 1-5 XP, not hundreds or god forbid more-just looking to take extra small steps to the next perk point

 

If anyone knows of a mod that does this somewhat, or even mostly, I'd love to hear about it

I have a request for a mod.

 

Place cement blocks beneath workshop itens, like Turrets, Scavenge station, Generators, so they don't look like they're flying on the side.

 

An example we have is the Water pump, they have that cement box that makes them look anchored on the ground.

This is a request for any modder willing to replace the vanilla male and female ghoul head mesh with the vanilla base male and female head meshes plus add the facegendata.

 

I've tried to do this for the last week with little to no success, mainly because my Creation Kit REALLY loves to CTD every chance it gets.

 

edit*  It appears the ghouls Holly and the GoodneighborDrifterF08GhoulThirdRail are instant CTD any time I even attempt to edit them.

 

In my opinion it is a vast improvement over vanilla seeing as they no longer look like the walking corpses that the ferals do.

 

I've tried uploading altered .dds textures of the ghoul heads, but the site keeps throwing an upload error at me. So this request has been copied to the main request page which lets me upload.

I was wondering if there was a replacer/stand-alone out there for the robot armor from the automatron DLC that removes the backpack from the light version of the armor. Something that would just leave the breastplate but remove most of the bulk. Thanks in advance.
