Adriaan Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 ...The passed 20 pages are full of people mentioning/asking about the bugs LISTED on page 7... I did this several days ago, and I still feel like an idiot.
KitteySenpai Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I see a ton of people using different harnesses and I wonder how? Ive tried doing what some guy mentioned in a post about changing the .bgsm and so on but it wasnt quite in depth enough for me since I have no clue what the crap Im doing <-> Is there a possibility of anyone explaining more indepth what I have to do to get a custom harness to work? Easiest way, but has downside that male raiders wearing harness miss part of their body 1. get raider mod from calyps and install. you only need texture and material folder, but if mesh folder is installed too, doesn't matter. 2. go to data\textures\armor\raider04 - rename the .dds file to raider04_d.dds 3. go to data\materials\armor\raider04 - rename the .bgsm file to raider04.bgsm 4. go to data\Tools\BodySlide\SliderSets - open RaiderHarness.osp with any text edit - replace <Slider name="BodyZap" invert="false" default="100" hidden="true" zap="true"> with <Slider name="BodyZap" invert="false" default="0" hidden="true" zap="true"> and save file. when you open bodyslide now, you should see modded raider. None of the named files you specified exists in my data folder. I see a ton of people using different harnesses and I wonder how? The heck am I doing wrong That file path doesn't exist because the original files are compressed into a BSA file. You need to make those file paths yourself, and they should be fine. Alternatively, most harness mods will create that file path. Just FYI, the way most replacer mods work is the game is instructed to load the loose files you throw into the game directory over the original compressed ones in the BSA archives.
nutluck Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 11 days and no official release Christmas is coming soon, what you are waiting for? Release "as is", more testers from nexus = more bugreports. Be happy this is even happening before the mod tools. I honestly didn't expect any mod this complicated until after the mod tools came out. It is impressive they are getting it done already.
madmario Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Fantastic work so far Caliente & Osnious! I may have missed it on the 69 (so far) page post but is there a list of features to test? So far for me Bodyslide & CBBE are working as expected with the following build info: win 10 pro 64 Fallout build 881250 nexus mod manager 0.61.4 CBBE alpha 2a Bodyslide alpha 3a Observed the same issues pointed out by others with non-harness / non nude gear: visible hand seams oval discoloration on left shoulder of female characters.

Not really, no. We already knew of most of the issues before we even released the alpha (see page 7 post), so we just keep working on things.

Carida Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Small issue I wanted to report, though honestly this may be due to the negative slider scales I use when making my body. If so, ignore it. But I noticed a large dent in the left breast after making the harness mesh use a different texture. I thought it might be best if I reported it. Thank you both Caliente and Cell for your hard work and such a lovely body -C

Carida Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I have a question if anyone might be able to answer it for me. I have noticed that some use a different style of harness, and I'm aware that there are quite a few different types available on nexus, especially Calyps, I believe its called. But my question is, does Calyp's edit effect Caliende's harness included with the alpha release? And if so, how? I avoid using ESP mods so I cannot check for myself lol thank you -C If you just install the textures and meshes from cbbe then calyps clothing and the raider harness will show up in third nipple twighlight zone mode(ie the vanilla body trying to fit CBBE textures onto them. There is a work around using the Unique Player mod but like you said you dont use .esps and it uses an esp. Also without the CBBE.esp you will get a weird back of the neck texture even when viewing only the CBBE body due to some texture swapping weirdness. The only way to get the raider harness to be CBBE is to run bodyslide there isnt a .nif for it included in the CBBE Alpha. ATM they are more focussed on creating getting the mod ready for the Beta launch. I have a question if anyone might be able to answer it for me. Its not your negative values. I viewed both the mesh that bodyslide starts with in shape data and the mesh it produces for the raiderharness at 100% preset CBBE Curvy Values and when bodyslide builds the nif it creates that indendation. swoerd Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 yeah amazing that this mod is being developed, i do have to point out though, im not sure this is already been mentioned, grognak outfit and sequin dress have some scary visuals due to skin showing so if anything those may need a fix first ? though, world of rads and chaos there is some lore friendliness in those visuals i suppose. I also can not find mistress of mystery outfit or witch outfit. in case those do exist in the game. but thank you for your work!

I was hoping there would be after reading the Hubris Comics emails, but it's not in the game. As for the skin texture issues, your question is answered in the same post you downloaded the mod from back on page 7. And not wanting to pick on you, but yeah, it's been mentioned. Many, many times
maze44 Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Ive tried CBBE for FO4 now and I have a few questions. In Skyrim you could see the new textures (not meshes) also if wearing a vanilla armor.Should this be the same here? Because all my settlers with vanilla costumes have their vanilla skin? Why is my Cait looking so weird? (Nipples are on her stomach, as you can see on the picture) http://www.directupload.net/file/d/4209/3n6qwjom_jpg.htm And how do I get someone naked, because when accessing the Inventory of settler or companion, their equipped outfit isnt shown in their inventory, so I cant take it but jsut replace it by another outfit.

And how do I get someone naked, because when accessing the Inventory of settler or companion, their equipped outfit isnt shown in their inventory, so I cant take it but jsut replace it by another outfit. Give them an outfit that can't be worn with an arm or leg piece, then highlight it in their inventory and press the button to make them wear it. Their default outfit should now appear unequipped in their inventory for you to take. Now give them an arm or leg piece and make them wear that. They should remove whatever they were wearing and you can take it off them.

This is just a DL so people can help test the body so it can be released later.
ShadowGearX Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I gotta stop looking at this thread, the intelligence level is just completely gone now. If you "THINK" you are reporting a bug, go back to PAGE 7/SEVEN and READ the DESCRIPTION and INFORMATION where you downloaded the mod FIRST. 90% of this thread has turned into a repeat fest. This is an ALPHA TEST, NO OUTFIT IS SUPPORTED BESIDES THE HARNESS even then SOME shapes will still have a little clipping, its an EARLY RELEASE they decided to share. ANY OTHER OUTFIT WILL CAUSE VISUAL ISSUES, READ PEOPLE READ READ READ. You're all asking for help, yet majority of you failed to even read the initial post on page 7. Why should anyone take their time to help you out when you all show ZERO/0 initiative?I feel bad for Caliente already and the mod isn't even officially released. The comment page on Nexus is gonna be psychotic when it comes out. @Adriaan don't feel like an idiot, learn from it. The authors don't write down all the info for fun you know? Everyone makes mistakes, just gotta learn from it. Don't take anything I say personal, I'm a jerk EDIT: Also, if you see someone with a different outfit on besides the harness it is because that person either modified the outfit themselves or is testing for another author. Don't assume every picture you see is all part of or included in this mod.
multfilm Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Harness Screenie, No squashed tit Yeah! After some modification i finally able do the same! Thanks for people explaning how it works and of course Caliente for great body mod!

T1mb3r Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Does anyone know where the Never Nude Textures are located? I wanna make custom underwear.

laughingfox Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Yeesh, relax folks. Deep breaths and all that. Yes, people are apparently unable to read directions. Yes, they will potentially ask the same obnoxious questions many a time. But no, you really don't have to indulge in a text based slap fight due to this. Flailing limbs just adds fuel to the fire, folks can't see what the thread was intended for in the haze, and then the thread ends up going up in smoke.. you get the idea. Not worth ones time or energy. Whenever the official version comes out, it'll be great, it'll be awesome, and wasteland shall feel much more well-rounded than before, yes?
