Its not enough to only build the CBBE body ? I need to build the harness also? Even if the problem is with nude mesh? My issue is that Fallout uses the vanilla meshes with CBBE texture. And even though Ive tried building the skeleton nif 40 times, and watching it being written in to the correct folder, it just wont take
danlineage Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 I am pretty sure that Steam is not the only Fallout 4 retailer. Steam has it's own folder structure but if you purchase the game form anywhere else the folder structure will be different if not completely up to you. Ex : I can install skyrim in "c:\trolololo" folder if i wanted to.

Despite not having purchased directly from steam, it's still required for the PC version.
danlineage Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Ok so i have a question : I ported something from Skyrim into Fallout 4 the old fashioned way copy stuff from folder A to folder B (plus some other here and there modifications) and it seems i did a good job since my FO4 Body Slide seems to find all the files it needs however i encounter 2 problems : 1. I have no idea how to add it to the game, tried to modify the mod's .esp and replace Skyrim.esm with Fallout4.esm but further than that i'm out of my element/ 2. It seems that in Body Slide everything is there however the Bikini stays the same size when i change the body, for example bigger breasts just cover up the Top...i'm swamped here....

If that mod works correctly, i truly have no idea what the issue might be for you... However if that mod does not work either, it's pretty much due to incorrect ini... so i'd recommend making sure that the ini file modified is the correct one, by that i mean it should be in C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\Fallout4 by default (or whatever drive letter is your windows install)... however if you use MO, it's in MO's profile folder. There is a backup ini in Fallout's folders however modifying that one will not affect anything. Hope this helps you.

While you are correct that no matter where it is bought, it requires installing it through steam, it doesn't change the fact that you can change the installation folder through steam to install it wherever you want... Also, exactly like skyrim, once installed in whatever folder you chose through steam, you can simply copy/paste everything in a different folder and it will run without any issue... (this is what i did to keep all original files intact... does take alot of drive space to keep 2 installs tho ) but anyways, i'd vote dropping the 'pirate' issue since installation folders hardly prove anything and this is completely unrelated to this forum post... I don't know if I totally understand, but Skyrim and Fallout 4 share very little in common so porting a mod would take a lot more than what you've tried. Bodyslide won't actually generate a Fallout 4 compatible body out of a Skyrim nif. However bodyslide will recognize anything it can, it shouldn't be seen as success. You can drop a vanilla body in bodyslide and it will display it in the render window, but you can't actually modify it until sliders are set up.

Karna5 Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Hello. I've been reading these forums for a very long time because I appreciate reading conversations between talented inventors, but I've not posted here before because I'm a private person. I apologize in advance if I get the spoiler tags wrong posting pictures. Fallout 4 has had some superb body mods such as Perfect Body, Oni and Nuclear Nude in particular. This said, the CBBE alpha takes the body to a truly new level. I installed CBBE alpha a few days ago and will never go back. It's better to have hopped around to my dozens of settlements and replace hundreds of settlers to use invisible armored underwear and remove the excellent Calyps harnesses and dresses until CBBE gets out of alpha and allows the excellent clothing mods to be ported. The reason I post is I noticed something which hasn't been mentioned but which I'm almost certain Caliente, Cell and the rest of the excellent team already figured it out. Just in case, though, I noticed that if I move the breast and nipple perkiness to 100% (or even just the nipple perkiness to 100%) when I crouch most of the breast flattens out of proportion to the nipple. The breast and nipples look perfect standing, but the animation of crouching seems to change part of the breast but not the rest. Please note this is not a complaint but a comment. I simply don't set these to 100% for playing, and all is fine. Here's the breast with no breast perkiness and only 20% nipple perkiness. It looks great crouching. http://imgur.com/uxLkwOM And here's the same pose and lighting with the breast and nipple set to 100%. Most of the breast flattens. http://imgur.com/dArFy8j I only mention this because I honor and appreciate the work Caliente and the rest are doing. Thanks. (It took me about an hour to figure out how to post this on this site and finally had to switch to Google Chrome, so sorry if the formatting is poor.)
faeriexdecay Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 ... ... ... We're supposed to be enjoying and being critical about boobies Aye, I almost didn't respond, nor was I trying to hop onto the piracyblametrain, but wanted to point out that regardless of where you buy it from it installs through steam, no way around that. If copy/pasting it somewhere else afterwards works, cool, but you at least need steam initially. And now I will go back to silently watching the thread.

maze44 Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Ive tried CBBE for FO4 now and I have a few questions. In Skyrim you could see the new textures (not meshes) also if wearing a vanilla armor. Should this be the same here? Because all my settlers with vanilla costumes have their vanilla skin? Why is my Cait looking so weird? (Nipples are on her stomach, as you can see on the picture) http://www.directupload.net/file/d/4209/3n6qwjom_jpg.htm Please read Caliente's post on page 7 where you downloaded the mod. And how do I get someone naked, because when accessing the Inventory of settler or companion, their equipped outfit isnt shown in their inventory, so I cant take it but jsut replace it by another outfit. Give them an outfit that can't be worn with an arm or leg piece, then highlight it in their inventory and press the button to make them wear it. Their default outfit should now appear unequipped in their inventory for you to take. Now give them an arm or leg piece and make them wear that. They should remove whatever they were wearing and you can take it off them. Thanks for helping me, got this working now and I think it looks fantastic! Cant wait for the first XXX mods!

danlineage Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 I noticed there are A LOT of people around here looking for more harness variations than the vanilla one and the guides on how to do them yourself are a bit hard to follow . If you do it one time you know its not that hard but for those that don't want to get into it that much or simply fail to replace the vanilla CBBE harness with something else i made this : You will find instructions on everything you need in the description of the video. If its received nice i will go ahead and make even more variations this easy to use (drag and drop process). For now it's only replacing the vanilla harness however i will love it if someone helps me to make standalone versions of all the variations so they can be added via console. Also for the Love of the Divines would someone give me a console cheat code to add a female raider for testing purposes ? Age restricted video :
Karna5 Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Hi, Danlineage. To make raiders to test just type:help raider 0 npcThat gives you a list, and then type:spawn [the ID of any raider you want] The sex of the raider, regardless of the ID type, is random. So if you get male just repeat. There's also a great mod on nexus that makes almost all NPCs including raiders female. I'll try to find the link. I guess I'm blocked from pasting links. I figured out a bit ago that although my account is almost two years old, because I didn't post before it blocks pictures and links. The name of the mod is: Mostly Female NPC's (in Nexus) I've been using it quite a while, and almost all my settlers, raiders, gunners and brotherhood are female.

RenanSiX Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Hi, how I make the size of the body do effect in Vault Suit?
Mickster Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Hi, how I make the size of the body do effect in Vault Suit? You mean through bodyslide? You can't at the moment, so far only the female body and the harness meshes are supported by bodyslide and CBBE.
re3prr Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 I'm pretty sure at this point Cell and Caliente had all they need from +40 pages back so that whenever their next release is it'll be either another test build or nexus release lol. Also to people unable to get it working it's definitely an issue on your end somewhere, I have it working perfectly even with Mod Organizer Alpha 2 and can just click it off/on if I want to just use the normal body. @Danlineage since Calyps harness mod has its own .esp you may be able to modify those .nif's separately and keep their original name after altering them as raiderharness04, would have to test if it would work that way at all. Might not be worth it though.

Im pretty much waiting to play the game until body / face + some very basic sex mods are implemented... If the "very basic sex mods" are your criteria, then you will probably have to wait at least until March. I don't expect the GECK to be out before February (if at all) and it'll take some weeks after that to make some of the basic mods you're looking for. I also don't see the official CBBE out before next year. The upgrades/changes Caliente has planned for OS and BS seem kind of big to me. Sounded more like it'll take a few more weeks to implement instead of days, so January seems more reasonable as a release date. If there is one thing I've learned over the years, it's that the last couple of bugs take the longest to fix. (though, I'd gladly be proven wrong here)
HeckinT Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Waiting patiently. I always enjoy Caliente's work, so I'm eagerly awaiting a public release.
