stuffed_bunny Posted November 2, 2012 Author Posted November 2, 2012 I've checked CT77 packages' date=' and Orcish Straps BSDs have not changed since well before October 28th. Your's either, however I've noticed that all your Orcish Straps are dated October 12th except: Orcish_Straps_ShoulderSmooth.bsd which is dated October 10th. Convert-BSD/batch /End of paranoid rant. [/quote'] From "Funny facts for CB++ fanatics". But a quick look at the sliderset would reveal that the Straps_ShoulderSmooth is unused. Perhaps you would like to write a script that checks if each included bsd file is actually part of any sliderset. That might be useful. Not much, but a little. On a serious note, conversion is running for 0.4.9 update, should be ready soon... and there it is. Also fixed Dragonbone, seems that I forgot to export it after some update. So the sliders broke, and even crashed Bodyslide (possibly vertex number out of bounds). Also fixed missing BigTorso for belt in hide armors.
Reducer Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Now that was fast SB! I will check tomorrow:P @loverslab987 Oh well, I avoided boring details. When I say 1-weight match for old and new I mean CRC32, MD5 and SHA1 match. And 0-weights differing 572 bytes means that a binary comparison shows that 572 bytes are different between them (same size). I know the difference is Straps related, but couldn't understand why. Only source of difference is any of the BSDs having a different offset for 0-weight, while being the same for the 1-weight. Or something like that. That's why I asked. Not important I guess, but be sure that if nothing changes, BodySlide consistently generates the nifs. I'm one of those always double checking things until I understand how they work:shy:
Jimjim117 Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 The nocturnal robes have butt clipping with one of your sliders when using the short skirt length slider. Thanks for all your constant updates.

[/quote'] I'm sorry to report five regressions (I believe) that appeared in 0.4.9 in regard to the Mak Vr armors: Imperial (studded) makes Bodyslide++ crash when trying to build the body or preview it. Draugr, Hide, Iron and Banded Iron have serious clipping in the chest area that seems to be related to the Fantasy, Double Melon, Flatness, Perkiness and Width sliders. The other Breast X sliders seem to working fine, though. Edit: I can't count.

Nope, you need to upgrade to v1.1.2 of CT77's mod. The outfits you mention are pretty much the ones he modified in that update. I added a note about it on the main page.

I checked with the updated version and the problems mentioned are solved.
GeneralMike Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Nice work on all of this. I loved the bodyslide idea when Caliente first added it to the Nexus site, and all the extra options make it even better. I noticed there's an update to the CBBE body (now V3.2) - can I download Caliente's update or will it do nasty things to all the bodyslide armors I created?
CyricWinters Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 With the new CBBE v3.2 it seems like the main reason for the update was to improve the body textures themselves and add new underwear. There are also smaller updates to the included BodySlide and TexBlend utilities as well. The TexBlend update was likely to allow it to work with the new body textures. The BodySlide portion includes the following new sliders: Pushup - Seems to work exactly like an inverse of the "Gravity" slider but intended for clothing. HeartClaspOff - Zap Slider for the new underwear outfit's Heart Clasp. LeafClaspOff - Zap Slider for the new underwear outfit's Leaf Clasp. Topless - Zap Slider for the top of the new underwear outfit. ToplessStraps - Zap Slider for the straps of the new underwear outfit's top. HideNipples - How far the nipples are pushed in to prevent the outfit from clipping. And theres probably some updates to the older sliders in there as well, there still hasnt been an update yet to the 1.4.0 (stand alone) version of BodySlide though. Id imagine it, TexBlend (stand alone) and Caliente's Vanilla Outfit Packages will get updated to account for the new 3.2 features eventually. She indicated versions of the current 3.2 body textures would be uploaded sometime today that would feature different resolution and compression options. The main body textures featured in the current package appear to be completely uncompressed (generally not a good idea for high resolution color maps imo) so they are pretty massive- 64MB in size versus the 16MB of the old body textures for example.
stuffed_bunny Posted November 3, 2012 Author Posted November 3, 2012 I noticed there's an update to the CBBE body (now V3.2) - can I download Caliente's update or will it do nasty things to all the bodyslide armors I created? No outfits would be affected' date=' but body texture would be different (edit: but it seems the texture map should be compatible). I haven't had time to really check it yet, but if you keep your old Bodyslide setup for a while (without overwriting with the new version), at least you can reinstall the 3.1 based body meshes until I had a chance to update anything that needs updating. Edit: As for Bodyslide compability, the source nifs are identical. When I read the default shape was different, I sort of expected the source mesh to have changed, but that's not the case. All the sliders except CalThighs are different, but that could just be rounding errors. The nocturnal robes have butt clipping with one of your sliders when using the short skirt length slider. You can try this package and see if it looks better. Also added nipple support, and made the mesh slightly transparent (note that this makes outfits invisible through water surfaces). (Edit: included in v0.5)
Dude500X Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Hey look, I really do love this slider.. and I have no idea how much effort goes into making it but im guessing its alot. Now, please dont brush off this suggestion because I feel it needs to be made. Could we ever get a bodyslide that works with males? Like... beer guts, etc.. not all males should be buff in Skyrim imo. Would male bodyslides ever be a possibility you think?
Jimjim117 Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Thanks, The Nocturnal works for me except for new breast clipping but that's almost definitely because I updated bodyslide with calientes new sliders.
FastestDogInTheDistrict Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 CB++ Mak - Imperial - (Studded) seems to have a problem. Bodyslide++ simply stops working when I try to build it. Also - Iron and Banded Iron still appear to have problems. Iron looks... odd in preview (flickering patterns all over it?), and Banded Iron does not appear to be recognising some sliders still. **The above *MAY* be caused by inadvertently installing both of MAK's original remodeled options (standalone/vanilla) and then both of Chrono's options over the top. *WITHOUT* them installed at all however, "Bandit Bikini" and "Chainmail" do not exist, as they are "pieces", and as such still require manual install, yes? The Imperial Studded, plus the couple of others on the previous page that crashed Bodyslide, do still appear to be causing it to crash however. I am using the current 1.1.2 Remodeled version, plus the most recent updates for CB++ et al. ..scratch all of that... I think I'm losing my mind...
iamthemoon Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Oh jeez stuffed_bunny, it really looks like your work has been cut out for you lately, updates left and right. Rooting for you.

When I read the default shape was different, I sort of expected the source mesh to have changed, but that's not the case. All the sliders except CalThighs are different, but that could just be rounding errors. [/quote'] And after diffing the shapes with Make-BSD, it seems that this is not quite the case. Some sliders have vertices that differ by more than 0.01, far higher than rounding errors though not necessarily a visible difference. Possibly outfit sliders would need to be rebuilt. Not really a problem, just a bit annoying. Could we ever get a bodyslide that works with males? Like... beer guts' date=' etc.. not all males should be buff in Skyrim imo. Would male bodyslides ever be a possibility you think? [/quote'] No reason why not. I did start making UNP sliders a while ago, but only completed a few. The main problems with any new bodyslide mod could boil down to getting permissions to release. Permissions, permissions, permissions...

buddhapelle Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 hey s. bunny, love your work, thanks to you skyrim is worth playing.i have one small problem with the studded hide armor though and i don't know if it's a bug or just something on my end.the shoulderpad is "flickering" sort of,any idea why?
GeneralMike Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 So maybe some time when you have some free time (so probably never), would you be able to add a button to the CB++ tool that lets you add an outfit to a batch build group (or makes a new group with that outfit)? I know it's pretty easy to just make a new .xml file and stuff on my own, but having it built into the bodyslide tool itself would probably help avoid typos, formatting errors, and all that stuff.
Reducer Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 But a quick look at the sliderset would reveal that the Straps_ShoulderSmooth is unused. This pointed me on the right direction. I've found why I was getting an orcish 0-weight model inconsistent with a previous one without any apparent change in my setup. At some point after October 28th, the sliderset file CB++ MakVanillaReplacer.xml was updated to include the slider Orcish_Straps_ShoulderWidth (among other fixes, of course) When removing it from XML file, BodySlide builds a matching 0-weight model. 1-weight was unnaffected because my preset only changes ShoulderWidth small value, while big stays at default one for that atribute. Mystery solved:P
FastestDogInTheDistrict Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Hey - I have a query: I've got the hang of using CB++ now, and I've been happily playing around with it! I notice that Caliente's "Nocturnal" appears on the list, and I can "preview" it on my modded bodies and "create" it, but I cannot seem to obtain it in-game. I can even add it via console but it never appears in my inventory. I already use CB++ Caliente vanilla clothing plus Chrono's MAK Vanilla replacers. Do I need to be using a separate mod to get the Nocturnal robe? I don't see one listed in the other thread... (*Note: I did try Caliente's separate Nocturnal robe, but that seems to only be for CBBEv2, and doesn't appear to use Bodyslide)
stuffed_bunny Posted November 5, 2012 Author Posted November 5, 2012 i have one small problem with the studded hide armor though and i don't know if it's a bug or just something on my end.the shoulderpad is "flickering" sort of' date='any idea why? [/quote'] Some armors have a separate inside layer, positioned very close to the outside. On some armors, like the shoulderpads on hide armors, the inside layer actually goes through the outside. In their original sizes, it's not a problem. Carefully reshaped sliders are typically ok. With auto-converted sliders, layers may clip through each other or even switch place. The flickering you see is just that. I notice that Caliente's "Nocturnal" appears on the list' date=' and I can "preview" it on my modded bodies and "create" it, but I cannot seem to obtain it in-game. buddhapelle Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 someone should definetly make this bodyslideble

Reducer Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Hi all. A bit of feedback for SB. Outfits v0.4.9 is missing the following MakArmor slider (used in slider set XML): Imperial_Armor_Heavy_NippleTip.bsd Regarding Imperial Medium, it seems that you removed all nipple support, and I'm not sure why. Nipples can be seen at certain angles for Medium. At least Base Shape sliders should be available. The only problem in 0.4.8 was that the XML used wrong slider names for armor: Imperial_Armor_Nipple*.bsd instead of Imperial_Armor_Medium_Nipple*.bsd according to filenames in MakArmor folder.
filipgustaf Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Hello everyone! Could anyone possibly upload more "ported" versions for the bodyslide CB++? Can't quite get the hang of the porting procedure... Also is there any way to add physics to the armor? Got a feeling it's an effortful venture...
stuffed_bunny Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 Imperial_Armor_Heavy_NippleTip.bsd Regarding Imperial Medium' date=' it seems that you removed all nipple support, and I'm not sure why. [/quote'] ChronoT removed the bra, and I dont have time to check each armor individually. About the nippletip, Convert-BSD output: "Not writing empty BSD: Imperial_Armor_Heavy_NippleTip.bsd". Edit: But I'll add back nipple support to Imperial Medium.
