OSex+ The Greatest Virtual Sex Ever

I wonder if it would be bad form to have two forum threads for 0Sex? One for troubleshooting and another for discussion/news.

Seems like it would be helpful toward both efforts to have them separate. Less for each group to sift through looking for the info they want.

I"m down for that idea Pip, it's hard to develop talk in this thread now because there's a lot of troubleshooting which is most likely a good sign and shows people getting attracted to the mod I'm having a hard time using the thread also for things since it's heavy on setup / troubleshooting discussion.

Any ideas how to name / organize the threads? The key would be to have the troubleshooting one be the obvious first click or else troubleshooting would just show up in a development/news thread.

Agreed. There is so much troubleshooting of the same things over and over that it's hard to follow mod progress / discussions.

I see two options:

A. Leave this thread as the troubleshooting thread (maybe rename it somewhat). And then start a new thread for discussion/news. That way you can control how the new one starts off and keep that consistent.

or

B. Retire this thread and start two new ones, named appropriately.

I would run it by Ashal to see what the LL preference is. Ideally, they can set you up with mod permissions of some kind so that posts can be moved to the correct thread if necessary. Otherwise, there will probably be a bunch of "please post this question here:" type of posts.

SexLab has it's own section. Now, hear me out: I know SexLab is LoversLabs 'baby', so they did this to seperate it and questions related to it from all the rest. But with OSex growing as it is in both complexity and popularity, it will probably be on par with SexLab.

Specially if more OSex related mods get developed, which I am sure they will.

So, quite frankly: You should ask for them to make a section for OSex like there is one for SexLab Framework. Because you can then have pinned topics for 'Development', 'Downloads' and people can make their own threads for troubleshooting etc. The main problem with things just getting lost in here is because of the forums search engine. You will more than likely not find the problems solution you are looking for when you search the forum or use google, if its in a thread, but if the problem + solution is a thread of itself, then the chances are higher that it stays relevant.

Of course, that's just my opinion. I don't see any reason why OSex shouldn't be granted the same status as a Framework as SexLab, even though it's still not quite at SexLabs level, with a bunch of mods for it already.

---

Then, there is also that issue with sorting sexual and non-sexual content. Something SexLab doesn't have to worry about, because every content in the framework is sexual. So for OSA/OSex, you can probably not have them both in the same section. Then again, I personally do not see any harm in making a section for the OSA Framework, then adding a Development thread for OSA and one for OSex. Plus two download sections, one for non-sexual OSA stuff and one for sexual stuff. Plus of course the threads by users under those. But.. that'll probably bug the people from loverslab, as it'll throw sexual and non-sexual stuff kind of into the same section - but I believe there has to be some way to get this to work out with all parties happy with the solution.

One thing I can say for sure though: As it is right now, there really isn't enough presence for OSA/OSex on this forum. It's a great thing really and though I don't think it'll replace SexLab, it definitely is something that people need to notice and make modules and mods for. So eventually people WILL need a section where they can post their OSA/OSex mods, rather than just throwing them into the general adult mods.

How Can i get plugins for OSA mod?

There is currently only Osex available which you can find on Nexus, Kinky has a link in his signature or just search for it, it is pretty easy to find.

I may have missed it but have any of the more advanced OSX modules available (Bad Girls of Skyrim and the like)?

Not yet released.

I wanted to know if there were scenes  the 3some in  mods .if yes how active it?

Not available yet.

OSA will adjust for racemenu SoS changes, at the start it records all SoS bone nodes of the actors then it sets all of them but 2 to 1.0 and adjusts only the shaft1 and scrotum from there. At the end it restores them all back to whatever they were.

With body size it's adjusting based on the scale property of actors but race menu is also scaling a bone to adjust actor scaling which has nothing to do with the scaling property. Any adjustments to the main body scale through racemenu will not be accounted for by OSA. Fix is most likely simple to just record that bone scale and set it to 1.0 during a scene then restore it. I'm not sure which bone it is exactly most likely the root.

so Nerio_ and I have tried to solve my problem. but without success. so here again(this time with pics) my problem:

enb_2016_09_07_03_52_55_94.png

this is how i want it to look like, using racemenu

enb_2016_09_07_03_55_03_41.png

and this is how it looks while using 0sex.

but that is not the biggest problem. even if i would withdraw from my ambition and use an unscaled schlong, this happens

- SUGGESTION -

the best way in my opinion will be to peoples to make simple precision about what they are going to ask/post. by simply put an info at top of messages , exempl :

BUG REPORT

blablabalablablabalbalabla

PROGRESSION

blablablablablablablabla

IDEAS

blablablablablablablabla

like that, it will be way easy for peoples and devs to see exactly what they want, mod progression, troubles, ideas, suggestion , thanks, etc...

simply by putting an caps word before the post exactly like i did for this one.

just my opinion and i know alots of peoples will probably not use it anyway, but i think its the best and easy way to solve this "all messing up comments about everything and nothing" problem ^^

Hey, I'm trying to download 0Sex-All_PDFS_For_1.06.rar but I can't get a data directory set to it with Mod Organizer

im not a fan of MO, however you dont need it. the file you are looking at is a few PDF's for a very old version of OSA/OSex when it was one mod. it has outdated instructions for that old version in it on how to work the basic and more advanced features.

if you would like to use the file, just open it up using 7 zip or whatever you use for decompressing rar files. (i recommend 7zip).

visit the nexus and get the new version of the files, you will need to search for OSA and OSex. (OSA is the framework, and OSex is an addon to the framework to do the sexxy stuffs). you may also find these install files in this thread, look through signatures, a common poster in the project has them in his signature.

have a nice day.

EDIT: if you are looking for instructions, they are on the nexus for OSA/Sex, no pdf's needed. read through it, and make sure to pay close attention to binding a key to fire up osex addon, its what I personally had trouble with. in more detail, there is two ways to fire up osex, you may choose 2 actors (any 2) and view after you tell them to get to it, but i personally dont care for that... i usually choose myself as on actor, so once you bind a key to osex, it jump starts the animation suite with you and whoever is in your ridicule when you push the bind key.

To some degree, a forum is like a business. So, I could see some business-like reasons to not put the mod on the same level as their flag-ship mod.

But, yeah, I hear you. If it was me, I would give sections to all mods that reach a certain level of popularity/wide use.

Forum users have difficulty following much simpler ideas than this. It just wouldn't be followed to the degree needed for it to be useful.

What about the person/NPC you targeted being naked after you're done? I can't even seem to manually re-cloth them through OSA options.

Well not every mod, but a framework mod, definitely. Imagine in 2-3 months from now there will be more than just OSex, Amorous Adventures and that Poser Mod availiable. Imagine there are 30+ modules for OSex and around 20+ mods with OSA integration. Should it really just be splashed into all the rest of the mods? Imagine a year from now :'D if skyrim modding is still big then.

Personally, shouldn't we just all crave and support mods that can deliver? To me OSex is one of those frameworks that could go very far. Wouldn't it be in all our best interest to support that? It'll still take a long while until OSA mods could potentially make all the sexlab mods redundant. It's entirely possible, but it'd take a long while.

Frankly.. if I got a SexLab Defeat version for OSA, with Modules for Leitors and FunnyBiz Animations... then I'd probably prefer it, because of the vastly superior interface.

But back to the subject: Supressing OSA, just for the sake of keeping SexLab on it's level of prestige, that'd just be total BS. I'm sorry if any mod reads this and gets triggered, but you gotta think about all users and contributors first. Let OSA/OSex thrive and develop. Let modders see it's potential and create OSA versions for all the amazing SexLab mods. I'm just an idealist user, but in all honesty, if something has potential to make everyones gaming experience better, it should be honed, not frowned.

im more of a command line guru myself, i do it myself if a mod or feature doesent suit my needs. but having said that, ive not tested that functionality very well on the re-dress, im one to quit when im done, and pulling up the save i made just before.

i would think that if its not well implemented, it will be soon, its probably a dealbreaker eventually on almost all mods such as this, where you need almost no technical expertise, its a click and go kind of thing on you learn the controlls. anything is possible with the code. i would say wait patiently for that feature. :) im trying to return the message since it branched off my original.

Can I manage an actor in the scene (change the position of one of the actors) ?

If you mean getting them into different sex positions, then yes of course you can, but if you are referring to moving the location for the actors to engage then no (at least as far as I know).

I mean, to move actors relativ to each other (to the left, right, up, down). As in SexLab. Sorry for my English! I am from Russia.

No, you can't. You shouldn't need to either unless you're using non-standard skeletons or something.
