Basics for making OKW work
 
 
 
STEP 1
You need framework for modding the sims 3. That means you install a folder called "mods" (You can find a premade one here). In this folder you will find 3 things; 2 new folders called "overrides" and "packages", and a .cfg file. The .cfg file should look something like this:

Make a backup!!
Seriously!

 

 

I recommend making a copy of your "the sims 3" -folder before trying out big mods like KW. You will probably find your "the sims3" folder under "ThisPC > documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3" or under C:\Documents and Settings\my computer\my documents\electronic arts\the sims 3\. 

 

Under Electronic Arts find your "The Sims 3" folder and simply rename it to something else like "The Sims 3 backup". Try to run your game and you will find that there has been made a new "the sims 3" folder. This folder will be like starting your game anew. All your made sims/houses/storeitems will be gone-but they are saved in your "the sims 3 backup", so don`t worry about that just yet.

 

To mod the game you need the framework for modding  so add the "mods" folder with "packages", "overrides" and a .cfg file. Explained previous on STEP 1 and you are ready to start modding your game! 

 

If you want your ownmade sims/houses/storeitems/savegames you can _copy_ these folders  from "The Sims 3 backup" to your new "The Sims 3":

Library (households/houses/communitylots saved via edittown ingame is saved here)

SavedSims (sims saved in CAS is saved here)

Saves (your savegames are saved here)

Downloads (All sims3packs installed via launcher are found here -like storeitems, you might have to reinstall them with the launcher if copied and placed in a new "The Sims 3" folder)
 
The game only reads "the sims 3" folder when it launches. The other folder are backup (you can have several of those if you have space on your computer for it). This way you can for instance have one folder with KW and one without.

 

If you want to go back to the game you had before trying out the mod, just rename your current "The Sims 3" folder and rename the "The Sims 3 backup" to "The Sims 3" again. 


 
OKW is a WIP (Work in Progress). Making a backup makes it possible to go back to your previous game, if or when something goes wrong!

You could try out either of these methods:

  • Reset world with Mastercontroller (the pikas2 method)
     


    It's not necessary to begin a new Play every time,when you use KinkyWorld.
    If you are tired from playing the Game,then reset your World with Mastercontroller and then save the Game with a new Name and leave.
    Before you start the Game early next Day,make sure,you have all Cache-Files and Script-Errors deleted in your Dokuments-Folder.
    Also check your Folder under Dokumentary-Sims3-Current Game.If you have things in this folder,then delete all.When ever your Game
    crashed,EA puts the broken Game in this Folder and this SaveGame is not playable any more.

  • Start a new world and delete cachefiles.
    Usually found here: C:\Documents and Settings\my computer\my documents\electronic arts\the sims 3\
    CASPartCache.package
    scriptCache.package
    compositorCache.package
    simcompositorCache.package

 


 
Now go find your sims3 framework folder ("mods" > "packages"). At my computer it is found here: Libraries/Documents/Electronic Arts/ sims 3/mods/packages. I always make a shortcut to this folder, so that i have easy access to it whenever I want to add/remove packages. This is where you put the files you need for Onikis Kinkyworld. I prefer to make my own folders for different kind of mods, to keep it all organized and tidy.
 
 
STEP 2
The files you need to download for your game:

You will have to delete cmar_afBottomNude.package and cmar_afTopNudeMorphingNipples.
Replace them with GECKo_afbottom_Nude_DetailedVaginaButt_DefaultReplacement.package and GECKo_afTop_nude_NaturalBreast_KinkyWorldRealistic_Default-package
 

The basic rule is You can only have one default bodymesh(nudetop/nudebottom) for each of these:

af=AdultFemale

ef_ElderlyFemale

tm=TeenMale

am=AdultMale

em=ElderlyMale

You can only have one Default skin for male and for female. You can however have several Non-default skins.

Animations needs to be registered with KW ingame. When you start your game you might have to wait a bit before you get a KW-message. KW is a big mod so be patient. Once you have gotten the KW-message you can click your sim and find

KinkyWorld>Settings>Woohoo>Packages. Some of the animations are automatically registered but not all. you need to register every animationpack one by one by typing them in, and then wait for it to be registered:

STEP 3
DONE! Now it`s time to try your game.
 
Once in game you might have to wait a bit before your KW starts up. Be patient. eventuelly there will be a KW message popping up, and you can then click your sim and find a kinkyworld option. Choose your preferred settings, and remember to register your animations(some of them register automatically, but not all). I recommend reading the KW-wiki to better get to know what this mod does and how you can change the settings to your preferred gamestyle.

With all those animation packages, would you add every one to the list? Including the ones that start with OKW? Because, I feel that I'm missing something. Certain interactions don't work because it can't find the proper animations, so I'm wondering if I possibly added the animations to the list wrong.

When you have started your game. The first thing you do is these three steps

Huh. Yep, it seems like I've done everything correctly. Still, certain interactions claim that there's no proper animation to use. Oh well! Thanks for your help! :)

That can be because your sim is not high enough in level. It takes some time for them to accept certain positions Even if you have cheated them up ;) Also there can be errors as it is a Work in progress. Good luck :)

Seriously an excellent guide. Great example of how to do a how-to. Clear, concise, and gives recommendations on top of the required content. I especially appreciate you specifying the filenames to grab from each site you linked.

 

My only criticism is that one of the animation list keywords is misspelled in the three steps at the bottom. If someone (like myself) is copy/pasting them in, they'll get an error when they try to load KW_Lady666_Animartions as there is an 'r' in the last word. Obvious enough and easy to fix, but I thought I'd point it out.

i tried everything but nothing happened.

the mod loaded because it appeared in modlist at startup, but when i play the game in new neighborhood there nothing happen when i click my sim.

there's no kw menu.

I'm getting a notification saying NoSuitablePosition and there is no reference to this anywhere (or somewhere where it's easy to find).

 

it means you don't have a suitable  animation for that object what was the object so we can point you to one

I've been able to resolve it to some extent but I only get the option for doing kinky stuff on the floor. No option for bed or wherever else in the animation.

Also, when they do kinky stuff, it has this weird woohoo loop and both characters seem to mesh together. It looks really weird.

First off, make sure you have all the necessary animation packages.  I have the following five: kw_lady666_animations; kw_lady666_crazy_animations; kw_lady666_kinky_animations; kw_amra72_animations; masteranimations. Currently, I have all the animations options I am aware of.  However, I don't have the option of cars or the hole in the door, which is weird but not a big deal.

 

Kinkyworld to work without CTD, I had to turn off my Nraas story progression, start a new game in a EA town (Twinbrook).  I was using a custom world but keep getting the Error 12, which totally sicks.

Wow.  I love the 3Dmap.  I actually upgrade to "you are real" for both the male and female.  My Sims look 10 times better.  you can actually see the veins .  Thanks for the guide.  It has been super useful for me.

ok.  I have the wtwgloryholegate, but when I click the gate there is no kw option.

Goto buildmode, grab the door and place it again. This happens to objects placed after OKW is started.

I'm just checking, it looks like in the latest MasterAnimations zip the package has been renamed to KinkyWorldMasterAnimations, is this correct? The package in your list is simply MasterAnimations.
