I'm working on an update for 1.60, reorganize the MCM menu, adding a new queue function and rewrite of the animation creator for it to be done through MCM, simpler and more allow for more options such as creature animation etc.

 

For now seems there is some problems with the animation creator, sometimes the created animation does not work well with SexLab 1.60, someone to confirm this?

 

Sounds great Goubo, can't wait for the new release.

 

Just got Skyrim set up again, once I've got SexLab 1.6 installed I'll see how the animation creator goes.

Do you think you could make it possible to use these tools on a scene between NPCs while the player is otherwise occupied? (Involved in their own scene, or just for whatever reason can't 'look' at the NPC scene I want to edit.)

 

I play with Defeat and I think there are currently some problems with the new SexLab 1.6 - when my followers are assaulted in a Defeat scene it plays a consensual animation. It would be great to be able to manually change these scenes while waiting for a compatibility update. Unfortunately, my player character is not generally in a position to just stroll over and look at the scene as it's happening.

 

Maybe these tools could bring up a list of all currently active scenes and allow us to select any of them? Or let us select an actor through the console instead of needing to look at them with the crosshairs?

 

Do you think this would be doable? It would certainly be greatly appreciated.

Mmh that's a good idea :) I'll see what I can do, shouldn't be hard to detect the nearby scenes and make a list of them.

Done, a key will bring up a menu that will list all the npcs that are in a sexscene as well as a distance from the player number next to their names (the key can be the same as a tool key, it will just give priority to the Player if involved in a SL scene or your target SL scene before opening the menu list.)

 

Added a ">>>" in front of the current animation playing, a welcome small change!

The animation creator works now, maybe an option of SL make it bug I don't know, anyway I'm glad it's waaaay easier and nice to create animation with the MCM page now :)

Done, a key will bring up a menu that will list all the npcs that are in a sexscene as well as a distance from the player number next to their names (the key can be the same as a tool key, it will just give priority to the Player if involved in a SL scene or your target SL scene before opening the menu list.)

V3.0

 

To update: Uninstall old version then install the v3.0, clean save should not be needed, if there is a problem use Reconfigure in MCM.

 

- Reoganized the MCM menu.
- Added prefix >>> to know which animation is playing.
- Added “Tool actor list key” feature, will display a list of the SexLab scene playing around the player, see description.
- Added some tags for scene tag selector.
- Rewrite of the whole animation creator, now has a page on its own in MCM, creature animation are now possible.
- Added a new feature called matchmaker queue, see description.
- Added a new feature called Unregisterer, you can unregister any registered animation from SexLab, see description.
- Fixed stage selector & added prefix >>> to know which stage the animation is playing.

Excellent! Will be giving this a try when I'm back home this evening.

 

The Unregisterer sounds like a great addition, can finally get rid of those pesky AP animations that come with SexLab.

awesome :D does this get included in defeat? or been made standalone already?

I see no reason to remove this from Defeat so I'll update the base feature of the pose selector/tool yes, not the rest though.

The list menu I use can only return 128 slots arrays, does SexLab can return more than 128 slots array now anyway?

With my setup I can't have more than 125 animations in one array even with all NSAP animations enabled so I can't really test it.

So is this compatible with Sexlab 1.60? My friend said he had nothing but problems when he updated or did he just do it wrong?

Must have done something wrong, works fine for me with SL 1.6

Sweet!! I always tell him to wait for me to mod for him but he thinks he can do it on his own. Now is Defeat Compatible ive read places that it is "problematic"...I would really love to try this it looks awesome. Would i need to uninstall Submit for Defeat to work or can i compare them side by side? Now to update both sexlab and this mod. TYVM

Submit works fine with SexLab 1.6 and SexLab Tools (make sure you grab the latest patch). I'm not sure about Defeat, though I imagine it works fine as Goubo is also the author of that mod.

SL 1.6 has space for 350 animations now.

I know that but to quote Ashal:

And going by replies I've been given when asking the SKSE team on the betheseda forums, it's entirely unlikely to be possible in the future. SKSE has only added the ability create native type arrays larger than 128. So it is currently impossible, at least as far as I've been made aware when asking them... to return custom script array types  beyond 128...

 

If you make a search in sexlab that results in more than 128 matches, sexlab will invalidate random results until you are under 128. At least that's the restriction set in 1.60.2, previous versions restricted the search results to something like 64 or 100ish, for entirely arbitrary reasons.

The list you see in Tools is basically the same filtered list that as the animation type requested.  For example, if the mod initiating the sex scene wanted a "lesbian" animation (animations tagged with "lesbian"), then the list you see in Tools for that scene is the same one returned by searching for animations tagged "lesbian".  If the mod called for a 3-way animation, then the list will be a list of 3-way animations.  Basically the Tools list is a visual representation of clicking the 'o' key (or whatever you have set in the Sexlab MCM) for changing the animation.  Sexlab will only return a maximum of 125 animations of the requested type (3-way, anal, lesbian, etc) due to the limitations discussed by Ashal.  The overall registered animations is maxed at 350, but due to the technical limitations only the first 125 of the results are available.

could these tools eventually be re purposed to make some sort of interactive sex minigame? so the player controls the pace of the sex by pressing mouse or keyboard buttons?  I know it probably depends on the animations available and it would probably be a nightmare to code but is that concept too far fetched?

whoa, that's some seriously good stuff. what I had in mind was an actual sex minigame where you press the right keys and based on your partners needs some kinda pleasure bar would fill up or something so the player would need to make an effort during sex instead of just watching and waiting for 30 seconds, here I was believing that nobody could make something even relatively similar to that idea, BUT THAT COMES MIGHTY CLOSE(so thanks for linking that)
