I just tried to run this with the Zaz animation pack 6.06 patch and after I create a new character I'm getting an error window saying Zaz is too old or can't be found.

 

6.04 works fine, so it's probably a glitch in version checking. If I play on despite the error message, will PO still work?

 

I'm running PO and  ZaZ AP 6.06 with no problems, it is on a old save though, not sure why a new game/character is giving you that error.

Does it work on an old save? 

 

For the record, I am not getting this warning in my new game, or my current (just started) new test game.

Tried to add Bounty via console to morthal and no Bounty hunter was sent

Even mcm said so .

 

Tried to go to morthal and guards arrested and everything else worked.

 

There is a delay (settable in MCM) before the bounty hunter will start the hunt.

don't know if already questioned:

what you think on adding restraining DD items on the prisoner inside the jail? they will only be equipped when you are idling in jail and if your bounty is very high; so your chances to escape from the cell are really slim and undesirable, if using an enslaving mod to make the PC a slave thanks to the devices attached.

There is a delay (settable in MCM) before the bounty hunter will start the hunt.

 

 

yeah i didn t set anything as in older version, reset prison overhaul via MCM as you said and waited 48 hours and no Bounty hunters...

Should i set something? in older version i didn t and they worked.

You have to make sure the bounty set in BH MCM is smaller than your actual bounty, and also you have to wait longer than whatever you set n the BH MCM and that BH is enabled in the MCM.

Hi Inte, thanks for the newest update. 

I found one bug though: Every time I select Debug -> Force Restart in the MCM, the skill and xp reduction gets applied. Maybe a leftover from testing this feature? Well, it definitely works, no more confusing skill values, great job!

I guess i found the problem...

 

The Bounty hunter delay slider is broken for me

 

It doesn't do anything... whatever i choose display the value: xpo0hours (past version had that as default but the slider worked despite even leaving as it is it worked). everything else seems fine.

 

 

Cleaning save and reinstall did not solve.

Only PO related thing i have is the compatibility fix for SexlabSolutions.

I use latest PO (033fix).

PO is not working with the Forsworn story in the moment and Maria eden is not compatible with PO because there are changes in the Prison with


other punishment. Works with Forsworn Story and PO now.


For them they use Life an other Life: A few lifes didn´t work on the beginning with PO, there was only vanilla Prisons. But after disabling LaoL and minimalist alternet start


start a new game and PO was working. So I enabled LaoL again test those lifes with the problems and other too. They all are working now.

In todays episode of skyrim weirdness my character was taken outside by the jailer for some reason, persumably for a punishment and then a random vampire attack occured.  The jailer got pulled into the fight and once it was over they seemed to have forgotten whatever it was they were trying to do, leaving my character trapped.  I'm gonna just disable those attacks now but its something to keep in mind.  Maybe include a get out of jail free button with the next iteration of this?

I can't get this mod to work at all, with or without the patch. Everything I've tried makes it worse lol. It's been months since any punishment starts. I just get taken to the cell or pillary and nothing happens till i get released. Now it's progressed so that I just stay in jail cell and dont get released. I'll post a load order later but right now i have half my mods disabled and still cant find whats conflicting.. sigh. Does anyone know of surefire conflicting mods? I've about given up on this ever working for me again. I know it's something Ive done on my end , it just get frustrating when your running 250 mods and everything works except one mod lol. Really I'm just venting before I go back to banging my head against the wall trying to figure out whats causing this to hang.

Banging your head against the wall, or the screen should work, failing that.

 

The usual suspects are ...

  1. Make sure your bounty is high enough.
  2. Make sure your SexLab is good.
  3. Clean your save.
  4. Clean PO install.
  5. PO last on the load order.
  6. Use Wrye Bash to ... um bash your mods together.
  7. Some more head bashing as well.

After that I would need a log with the mod logging enabled.

hehe, like I said , was venting, sorry, this mod is like my kryptonite, I'm powerless against it. It's been quite a few versions ago that I had it working as advertised. I KNOW it's a conflict caused by ME otherwise everyone else would be complaining about the same thing. I've tried all the above steps ( that's pretty much my standard procedure for all mods and mod updates)  though I've been known to botch things so I'm not ready to say for sure I was perfect about it. I'm putting my load order back together and starting a new game and will post a log because I'm sure its not going to work lol.

Ahh right, sorry it wasn't clear from the text (it's been a very long week).

 

So if I understand correctly, let's say I'm level 29 very close to 30 and lets say Conjuration at level 35 with 34sp (so just about to trip to level 35). Then getting a spell in the cooler with both activated would mean that Conjuration would drop back to level 35 with 0 skill points and level 29 reset back so all xp has been lost.

 

That's perfect and as a side benefit helps control levelling as well :)

 

Soooo... (I bet you know what's coming now) instead of just killing a load of innocent peasants, lets say I do something really bad (like having unnatural relationships with the Jarl's chickens) so now I'd be looking at months (or years) inside could the xp level be dropped further so the pc actually loses levels. In other words, a pc going to jail starts as level 25 and comes out at level 24 or 23.

 

This would make sense from an immersion point of view as you would lose ability with extended confinement and the privations of being in a Nord prison (no Human Rights there), however I don't know if the Skyrim engine could handle a level reduction. To make it really work all the skills would need to be reduced as well otherwise enemy pc's would be pathetically easy to kill, so I don't how feasible it would be to really drop an overall level

Yes, XP is just progress between points. You'll loose that progress when set to 0.

You've got to watch out for the Jarl's chickens.

Leveling is controlled by a lot of things, race, active magic (from Guardian Stones and the like), Jarl's chickens, (those are quite tricky). 

Like you say, hard to reach a balance when going backwards when it comes to level points. For now I was opting to make surviving in Skyrim harder not easier. I'll look into dropping the actual level, see how that plays.

The only straightforward way might be to drop all the skills proportionately as well, otherwise the pc would become more powerful dropping a level as their skills would be greater that what their level should have. That would need the Skill Level reduction to be coupled somehow to avoid the opposite effect of the pc's skills becoming too low for their current level (e.g. a level 32 character losing say 10 skill levels across the board would have e very hard time of things) and there would be an issue of perks as well (what happens if one handed drops from 65 to 55, is the Armsman 60 point perk lost?).

 

The more I think about it the more complex it becomes

Small problem at Dawnstar at the end of the scene the Jailer seems to go up the hill round the back rather than direct to the release point. I reloaded and when it happened a second time I used the fast forward and was transported with the Jailer back to the evidence chest where I was given my stuff back as normal.

 

Might be an idea to remove that final walk to the release point as it can often cause problems (like a dragon attack or Jailer getting lost). A better way might be to walk pc with Jailer to evidence chest and release there for all jails.

 

The Level XP and Skillpoints looks like it's dropped to zero (I was very close to hitting L30) so I'll check that I am effectively restarting at L29 as I go along, so it's looking good so far.

PO reinstall and save cleaning.

 

If no go, i'll need a log with logging enabled.

in 5b everything worked fine.

 

With a bounty of an even 1000, I had a bounty hunter show up in the middle of a Forsworn camp last night. I did not test his functionality, because he died.
