I have to ask because I want to play this with a non-throwaway savegame. 

 

 

How does the game end?

 

 

What are the consequences of the mod's endings?? Does it permanently impact the player character or make the game unplayable after completion of the quest? 

 

After the quest chain can you proceed to non-FTD content as normal?

 

 

If someone can tell me the various endings and their consequences, it would be very appreciated.

No consequences on the game itself.

 

If you choose the revolt path, the cult disappear from insmouth.

If you join the cult, the cult will contral that city, and that's all.

 

Player can receive some outfits and spells, but that's all.

 

All the story is focused in insmouth, so the game is not impacted.

hello

i have a problem to start the dialogue with knyva to enter in the city, i ask to enter in the city and he just say that he don't let stranger enter (so i can't pay him to enter)

i have installed all the requierements checking the load order, things in the dark works perfectly (wich is an awesome mod btw) but i just don't understand,

you didn't launched the quest. Talk to an Innkeeper first.

At stage aFTD1Infiltration, I enter the building and go through the door where it tells you however there is a big brown thing with a green mist blocking the way, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to do something to get rid of it (if so I cannot see what I'm supposed to do), or if the mod isn't working correctly for me, could you please clarify for me

If it's telling you to go through the big fancy door at the front of the town, don't do it, look right outside of the stinky ladys house, there's a lighthouse manager(name?) it's that one you go in. Took me 3 days of hunting forums to figure that out. Because I never could find the lighthouse people were alluding to.

Yes, there is a problem with the marker... the temple entry is blocked, by the way. Processing through Artarak's house is the only solution.

i have a problem i don't know how to go to the ceremony. i killed the pirates and the priestess and now im stuck.

Hi!

I'm guessing you are playing aftd4end2,otherwise there isn't reason to kill pirates so after killing Kurshul perhaps the marker will remain on her,setstage to 70 and you'll get the temple key in your inventory.

Go to temple,remove the tentacles by console and you'ld face the cultists and continue your quest

Zadok and his bed are inside a wall in his house. Is this normal? Did I miss an event?

 

Also, is it safe to upgrade from 2.51 to 2.52 if I'm outside Insmouth?

 

Not normal at all ! Zadok's bed is upstair, like everytbed in insmouth houses.

 

Yes, it's only scripts update.

ok just finished playing thru (chose to join them)

 

very well done mod

 

imho just seemed kind of too easy to become priestess

 

minor issue during the corruption quest - when told to talk to Erikur, then have action with him (Meave for some reason did not show up and yes I tried waiting) quest did not

move forward until another mod trigged a sex animation then it all progressed normally.  shrug as far as I am concerned a very minor issue that was very easily resolved

and not a big deal at all.

 

like what you did here (especially the tie in to TID) and a fun mod to play

I found the solution, but this mod crashes a -lot-. Every two transitions, almost. And it's usually SKSE, so there's not even a dumpfile to debug it with. Is that just what happens when you have a tremendous number of heavy-duty mods or is something wrong with my game? I can post more info if so.

Was I meant to find Meridia's Beacon in the bedroom chest or did the game randomly generate it there?

 

ZaZ is installed, but the tentacle baths and I think the crucifixes outside don't work. And the Lurkers are animationless but the Seekers aren't. Should I reinstall the relevant mods?

Yes, reinstall these mods.

 

FTD is not an heavy mod, but some configurations don't like navmeshes modifications.

And yes, the Meridia's beacon is randomly generated. I got it in a chest in TID slaves quarters once.

ZaZ installation unfucked, need to figure out what the Lurker's deal is eventually.

Interiors are okay, but the game really does not like moving from interior to exterior in Insmouth. I'm uncertain as to whether I'll continue or quit the quest when the Argonian tells you to, but I'll probably try your other mods eventually!

soo i decided to resist this mod and when i came back for payback there is the guardswoman who cant be killed and to get to the ship i have to get past sha something who cant be killed is it supose to be like that or did i miss something ?

The guardwoman can be killed too... after all, she's a cultist.

Use also a defeat like mod, which allow you to kill essential NPCs by a special killmove.

I might have found a problem related to this:

 

While travelling to Solstheim and reading the Black Book "Untold Legends" my character was transported to Ryelh instead of Apocrypha, right into the chamber of Dagon. So its not possible to enter the Untold Legends realm. I wanted to keep the mod installed even after I finished it because I like the port town, but I probably have to remove it in order to get the Black Books going :(.
