(BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!) With the aliens will you be using TTW (After you finish the DLC you go back and because you can't re-explore mother ship zeta you could just make it so one of the old labs get use with your mod and use the prison cells again) or you could just take mother ship zeta files an use them a smaller version of the ship (Very small with a lab, prison cells, med bay, bed rooms, bath rooms, cock pit, storage, garbage, escape pods, etc) as a mod for FNV.

A modder can copy the cells and name them something different. Then you "can go back" again and again into these new cells. These new cells (copied) can have changes to them to reflect the new state of the Mothership. So you can have all that you discussed. Some parts of the Mothership would be places you wouldn't want to or need to go anymore. Perhaps use inter ship transporters and even perhaps a portable transporter that will allow you to return to the ship whenever you want from whereever you are. (There and back only)

 

\That is what I think can be done now how accurate that is .. well is another story.. :D I am sure if you are interested and decided to start working on this you could get some added help through the community to get this done. It should be a big.. but simple mod (copying the cells would take care of the lighting and should take care of the navmeshes I believe) so all you would need to do is make some clutter changes etc along with any quest or markers etc needed. ;). Again.. as far as I know.. :D.

 

You could pehaps start a following of breeders up there.. All manners of creatures could be present..  with pacification collars.. (collars that change the faction of the creature wearing it to the player faction perhaps .. maybe.. if that is possible.. ad a script to it ? )

Trust me, it's easy as f*ck (censored for dramatic effect) to copy/paste a cell and it's a pretty guarantee that it won't mess with the vanilla cells. I mean, the interior of Research Vessel Rho was basically a copy/paste of the basement of the REPCONN Test Site. The only difficult part is where to have it tie in to the vanilla world. As for animals with collars... just add new animals (different baseID's) and mess around with their factions. Breeder Lore states that animals view women as potential mates, especially the ones who have been there and done them, so it'd be sensible if they wouldn't attack on sight.

I see, I am not a modder so I don't really know how easy or hard something is (Last time I tried to make a mod I destroyed my game, so I gave up on it) but its good that that part will be easy.

@Stew52.. nothing ventured nothing gained.. :D..

If you use a mod manager you should be able to restore your stuff pretty easy even with a complete reinstall. (keep FOMM or MO outside of the game folder or copy it off before nuking your install).

 

The first few steps is the hardest. Chances are you missed a few needed steps in setting up. Odessa has a nice tutorial to set yourself up properly and even how to make a mod with some minor scripts and such. Check her post out.. I don't have a link available. If you do decide to make some small mods and it destroys your game. post the issue here. Chances are there is some quick easy fixes that can recover your game back to where it should be quickly.

 

 

I see, I am not a modder so I don't really know how easy or hard something is (Last time I tried to make a mod I destroyed my game, so I gave up on it) but its good that that part will be easy.

If you do decide to try again this community is very good with the support. hell just post what you are going to do before you do it and if necessary post the steps as you do it.. People here will help. Perhaps even Pepertje will help as well since you will be using some of his assets and stuff to create an additional plugin.. ;) I would even chime in from occasion to occasion to give ideas and some basic advise. ( haven't even modded either.. :D).

 

 



 

 

Dam harddrives. I had hopped to transfer the data back over to my computer by now but no luck .. Some issues in transfering so my setup for the computer is taking longer than I expected it to. Then I have a major project at work then maybe I might be able to actually set up my computer properly for some work. (at least some testing) I don't even have the game or even Steam/Origin installed.. :(. Can't play anything. If I am lucky.. might be moving my mothership to some better place and get some better posiiton with the whole anal probles and Cattle mutilation. NOt have to be on the front line manual task ..

Aye, as the Dutch would say: "oefening baart kunst". Once you get past the first steps, you'll get agile in the use of any program you'll encounter. Hell, I remember that I thought G.E.C.K. was a tool meant for gods. Now look at me... I make stuff with that.

And you know what they say: to find the answer, don't ask the question, but utter the wrong answer, people are more likely to correct than to aid. So if something's going wrong, explain to detail what's going wrong, what you did and how you tried to fix it.

Couple of questions:

1. Is the mod not suppose to show up in the MCM?

2. I'm getting a warning (from FOMM; it's not a popup) that says:

"WARNING: This plugin has the file extension .esp, but its file header marks it as .esm"

Is that a good sign? What should I do?

I just got New Vegas (through the summer sale at steam with all of the DLC) and have dealt with a game with the same structure (Skyrim) modding-wise.

Nothing for a user to worry about. It is some modding info that shows that Pepertje made some changes to the format and how this mod works. Other mods have this as well.

Pepertje has an esp.. he decided to flag it as an esm to get the benefits of the file being an ESM. well at least some of them. ESPs are more limited. There are a few other mod like this one being Project Nevada. one of the biggest most used mods in Fallout New Vegas ;). For the most part there will be no problems running this way at least for the user.

I always thought a shadow over innsmouth takeoff with lalelurks would be cool. A whole town would need to be contructed to make it immersive. Your character finds out the town is not what it first seems. the women are being bred by lalelurks and the men in the town grow up to eventually return to the sea to become lalelurks.

 

User 29 had said that he wanted to do a star wars takeoff at some stage. Your character could represent Leia/luke; obi wan is a dirty old man who says he wants to teach you the force but really he wants to root you; stormtroopers could be played by  legionnares with lasers led by a lobotomite(Darth vader). Of course the centerpiece would be your character at some point being held prsioner by Jabba( A centaur) who repeatedly breeds you, who of course only have the famous leia slave outfit from the films to wear. I have a sick mind lol.

I'll admit, this sounds awesome on paper! But this is a very large thing you're looking at, time consuming and requiring assets from other modders as well (mainly in the Star Wars episode). I would love to do something like this, but FBCaptured has priority right now. And I might seem like a dick right now, but my priorities are as follows:

-Patron requests ($10,-/month reward)

-Current project/episode

-Requested LL "small" episodes

-Requested LL "large" episodes

-Requested LL modules

-Other projects

 

I'm currently in the middle of something which will take a while, so I won't be doing this one in a while (unless, of course, you became a $10,- patron, in which case I'll start with prepro right away, but for some reason I doubt you'd want to do that just for a single request XD), or you'll have to wait a long time. Still, I'll scribble this down somewhere and remember it.

Not sure where I should post this, But I enjoy your mods.  I am having a issue with Fertile Breeder- Captured.  I get stuck at the stage with  "accept your role as a breeder", any suggestions.  As far as suggestion for upcoming, Most ideas I have are already being discussed =)

Issues for Fertile Breeder - Captured should be posted in the support thread of FBCaptured.

 

But... since you're here already, I guess I can help you: you'll have to pop out an egg to progress. If you did so and nothing happens, wait for Lucan to come pick one up and keep in mind to keep talking to your fellow cellmates. Sometimes they provide the key to progress.

Just can't find Clover in westside, and other dialogue with other NPC just can't show up about "captured" any quest of it...

First off: please post FB Captured related issues in the relevant thread.

 

Second: you don't want to find Clover yet since talking to her now will lead to a dead end.

 

Third: if you were trying to test the cutscene: she should be standing near the Casa Madrid. If she isn't there, check the Passage to Babylon to the far northwest of the map.
