gunthererickson Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Well, so far I like your mod, but must report an issue: SPOILER ALERT!!!!!! I went to the quest "It's just a job", with my Dragonborn in level 33 and my savegame size of 14K, when I was assigned the mission of "find the Dibella sister", my savegame size was 16K, so I did a cleaning with the Savetool and the Papyrus Data Transfer, and later, after cleaning with the Skyrim Save Cleaner, the size was in 14K again, but then I followed the questline and after deciding the fate of the Sister (I spared her), my savegame size was 20K, and remained in 20K even after doing the cleaning job, so I think your mod is generating too much bloat. As I said, I like your mod, so I report this so I and maybe other users having the same problem can play the mod without having to worry about the bothersome game freezing that comes with a too bloated savegame.

Save game size fluctuates all the time. If it isn't affecting the game then ignore it. All sorts of scripts and things run in the background, what and how many depends on your mods and where you are etc. You said your save was '14k', did you mean 14MB? My quicksave.ess is currently 12.7MB for a ~ level 60 character. I don't have any problems with that. (I'm not running AFS).

Grey Cloud Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 My game is 188+/- mods. I haven't got any quest mods loaded at the moment and I have most of the vanilla quests turned off.
gunthererickson Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 My game is 188+/- mods. gunthererickson Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Now that I mentioned Manadach, I must say: when I made the "No one escapes cidnha mine" quest, obviously I sided with Manadach, but during the fight with the guards I entered the inn and made some other things, later, after the game was too advanced to load a previous save, I found the corpse of Manadach and casted a resurect spell (from another mod). This could be the cause of the rising in my savegame size?

gunthererickson Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 well, that's weird. I decided to do again all the quests to join the Forsworn and this time there was no rising, my savegame remained in 14MB, so maybe the rising was for something I did. I will inform you if something new happen. By the way, I have a reason for Manadach to want the Reach to be recogniced as a legitimal forsworn kingdom by the Empire and the Empire to accept this legitimacy, and this is no a moral reason, but a practical reason: Actually, the Forsworn are at war with the Stormcloaks, when the Skyrim war finishes, the winning faction will focus in ensure the domain over The Reach, but that could mean a new civil war against the Forsworn. That is inconvenient for the winning faction and for the same Forsworn: The winning faction will have to fight a war in two fronts: Against the Thalmor and Against the Forsworn, and the Forsworn will have to continue a war that had been too long, and as Sun Tzu says: "there has no been war too prolongued that had been beneficial to any kingdom. If the Stormcloaks win the war, the Forsworn will have to redouble their efforts and their war will be more exhausting, that without mention the posibility of the Thalmor to join this war, but in the other hand, the Empire could be more reasonable, there could be another negociation for the recognition of the Forsworn as a kingdom, and even if the Forsworn offer their help against the Stormcloaks (or against the Thalmor if the civil war is finished) that could be a gesture of good will that could make it easier for the Forsworn to be left in peace. So I could propose that you make a fourth way in your mod: the intermediary way, that could make the Dragonborn act as a negociator between the Empire and the Forsworn.

It's why the forsworns are seeking a new allie, and why the Kolduns will propose to worship Shub Nigguraht. I plan also a cross over quest : they'll make a deal with some Falmers (Ibn ones). Yes, a quest with negocation with Madanach and an imperial representative could be nice. At least the Tharn and some emperors were forsworns.

A problem with the falmers is that they hate and want to kill all humanoids in general

A problem with the falmers is that they hate and want to kill all humanoids in general Ibn Ones are humanoids... but they are still falmers, and hate surface inhabitants too. So, it will be a cross over between TID Falmers and Forsowrns only, and more like a short term pact of non aggression... of course, nobody will truly respect it.

So, I take you're gonna update the mod? I think the beginning was non immersive in a way, since the characters didn't recognize that I sided with Madanach in Cidhna Mine and I had to start like I was a complete stranger. It would be great if after Cidhna Mine, you were sent to start your training or something like that, skipping the mercenary work.

Particulary, bug fixing, changing the start, and the final. Getting some help will be useful, I'm stuck on TID right now...
Highborn Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 I thought TID was already finished? The story will still change?
Delzaron Posted December 17, 2016 Author Posted December 17, 2016 I thought TID was already finished? The story will still change? TID is finished, but there is some bugs, and the story needs some cleaning. That's I'm doing now...
soltaris Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 I'm on the hagraven branch and killed Tsavani with spriggan spray II. Now the quest says I have to cannibalize her. I don't see any spells or powers that grant me that ability. How do I complete this step?

I don't see any spells or powers that grant me that ability. How do I complete this step? There is a setstage script, so don't care, it should advance it self. Just loot her. Thank you. Just as you said I was able to cook the meat pie without performing the cannibalism. However, after Drelas handed them out the quest got stuck again. I waited 15 real time minutes and it didn't advance. I then used the game wait to wait 1 hour and it still didn't advance. I manually did a setstage 100 on the quest and it was able to complete. I noticed one other place a quest didn't advance -- in the virgin offering to the dragon it didn't advance after the dragon died and I had to manually setstage 30 to get it to advance. So all of these I have been able to solve my way through. There is one other place that I haven't figured out how to get past though. In the Koldun branch, the hungers never spawned during the initiation so I wasn't able to go near to them as the quest asked me to, and if I tried to manually advanced the quest stage it caused cascading issues.

fonixphoenix Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 I think you're one of the most talented modders on this site but i think this particular mod is quite buggy, just to make you aware, i tried to the shaman route for the last step in initiatiion, the woman whose name starts with an E tried to show me how to have sex with a wolf but she just stood there, I opened up the console and noticed a function "startSex()" (my memory is bad it could have had another name) was failing. the npc's were just standing there. I had to uninstall and move on. Checking out TID now
