darkconsole Posted April 7, 2015 Author Posted April 7, 2015 ok so ive gone through here in search of my problem, to see if anyone has had an issue with it whatsoever yet. i havent seen one witht he same issue. so here is the question. why cant i mate with the animals? i choose the "fondle" option but nothing happens. i have everything required and (as far as i know) set up correctly settings wise. im not going to beg for help as i have tried to fix it on my own but, i will ask for it. so, help? thank you in advance. @kahe, standard debugging routine. Load up matchmaker, zap your creature of choice, does anything happen? Yes = it's untamed and I'm very surprised. No = your setup is wrong, usual case. i bet 10 epeen its sexlab "enable character animations?" checkbox in sexlab mcm, or failed fnis install of creatures.
kindashy Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 Hey guys, quick question... I left my pack outside the Whiterun Western Tower, and left them there for a while. When I went back, most were missing. I still see them in my pack in the MCM listing, but not where I left them. Any suggestions?

Bad Dog Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I'm still getting a CTD when I try to run with the pack. I get the swirly FX effect, then pow, that's all she wrote. So I loaded brand new game with an absolutely minimal load order and sexed every wolf in sight. Same damn behavior. I can't get rid of it. Here's the load order. Can anyone else see anything in here? Any other suggestions? What happens in the mod at this point? Any animations playing? Any special effects? This happens whether or not I have ENBoost around.
Neodarkside Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 I'm not sure why but i cant get it to fully work. I get no dialog when talking to my pack, instead even at level 1 it just instantly opens up their inventory. Any idea what might be causing this? Even the command shout does the same thing. It makes it impossible to level my pack unless randomness selects the one i want with the mating call shout. Getting this as well, I am using the matchmaker spell just to be able to target specific pack members. Also I disabled the charm and calm features, since it said only the one that sexed me would get added to pack, but using mating call still adds all who heard it to the pack and only 1 of them has sex with my character.

Make sure you have UIExtensions installed. If you don't you won't get the dialogue options.
KMofSpeed Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Are you planning on adding new features?Or just bug fixes and stuff
EzGameEzLife Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 (edited) Im somewhat new to modding with the extent of my knowledge being the nexus mod manager, so any help is appreciated. When I approach any animal no animation plays, however levelup screens occur. I believe it is due to FNIS, in which it says>>Warning: AnimationList found in "Animations\SexLabCreature", but no corresponding Behavior file. Incomplete mod IGNORED. (bear)<<Reading SexLabCreature V?.? ...mt_behavior usage: 19.9 % ( 0 furniture, 29 offset, 0 alternate animations)I downloaded both the Creature pack and FNIS Behavior Fix 1. Edit: Nvm figured it out, works great! Edited April 12, 2015 by EzGameEzLife
kiiper13 Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 im having a problem where whenever I dismiss an animal from my pack, the name disappears on it and I cant activate him again, any sugestions
darkconsole Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 im having a problem where whenever I dismiss an animal from my pack, the name disappears on it and I cant activate him again, any sugestions when you dismiss an animal you are telling it to fuck off. if you have multiple animals with you, they will probably even attack the one you dismiss. if you want them to just not be around, take them to your house and tell them to Stay. animals don't have the concept of "home" like housecarls do.
Nephenee13 Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Is there a way to have this installed, but turned off?I want to use it for one character, but not another, and swapping back and forth between mod loads is a lot more inconvenient than a toggle in the MCM. I'm not seeing an obvious "click here to turn the mod off" button, but if I uncheck everything, will that accomplish the same thing?

I'm not seeing an obvious "click here to turn the mod off" button, but if I uncheck everything, will that accomplish the same thing? I go back between PCs as well. I just go to my mod manager and click off the untamed mod when I'm playing a "regular" character. Then when I go back to one of my "beast wife" characters I re-check untamed in the mod manager. It really isn't all that inconvenient as I play either character for hours or days. So it's no big thing for me to do it this way.

Nephenee13 Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Bleeeh I guess I'll set up Wrye Bash save profiles. Edit: that being said, the mod is excellent and works exactly as advertised. and I love the radial menus and wish more mods would make use of them.

They're easier to tweak if you manually install them and I VERY often tweak mods. I dislike armor mods that "weigh nothing" for example or can't be tempered or don't require the Arcane Blacksmith perk to temper when enchanted. Or have spelling and grammar errors. Manually installing mods also makes it easier to convert those mods as well, I occasionally download UNP based mod for example and then update them to be compatible with the more popular CBBE based mods. For example, Sofia the Funny Voiced Follower has a custom body and UNP skin which I switched out for a more voluptuous CBBE body (and skin) and one that would work with pregnancy mods, since the one that comes with the mod doesn't. Since I manually installed it, I knew were all the mesh and texture files went and it made it easier. Maybe I'm just old-school. I was installing and tweaking mods for Morrowind back in the day, when there were no mod organizers. I learned to install mods myself and how to do it right. Too many people use things like mod organizers these days and are too afraid (or more often lazy) to load up the construct set (or Creation Kit) and tweak something themselves. So now forums get flooded with the most stupid requests for mod tweaks that wouldn't even take 60 seconds to do it yourself. Plus I'm constantly adding new mods - which means if I had profiles, every time I switch characters, I'd have to update every profile to now include the new added mods. It wouldn't be tough to do, but it would be as annoying as heck and ultimately isn't any different then toggling off esp. files in Data Files. We should be encouraging more people to manually install mods; I'm not hating on mod organizers, they have their place, but the more independent gamers are, the better. And I think it encourages more people to become mod authors themselves.
Nephenee13 Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 In that case you should use Wrye Bash, its actually made for that sort use-case. (its save profile function is kinda eeeehhhh, but its second to none on keeping track of what is installed where and what is overwriting other things)
darkconsole Posted April 14, 2015 Author Posted April 14, 2015 [....] i used to say those same things all the time. and then one day i caved in when i decided it was too damn hard to find my own scripts in my game install to package up for release. there is really no viable argument one can make against the "each mod in its own folder" system because the directory structure is the same, just segregated, so super easy to dig down and find only the files you need. plus the overwrite directory is pure brilliance, a lovely place for all the mods that generate files like fnis to dump all their stupid crap, separate away from the game directory.
tj3n123 Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 agree the biggest turn in my skyrim modding was change from nmm to mo...its just fucking great at so many level...and i dun even need to worry about overwrite and uninstall/reinstall mod anymore... the profiles stuff is one great thing too
DarkSinfulMage Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Would be neat if you physically grow bigger or stronger or bustier as you bop around conquering the wilds.
Prancing Doe Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Okay, I had the thing glitch out on me, My lvl 54 wolf was breeding me all nice and proper, then got message he died. Except he didn't die, he was still breeding my char nice and proper. Issue becoming, he is NOW back in pack, but at lvl 1 again. Is there a command to raise his level so I don't have to sit for hours leveling him up again?"
angelboy2014 Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 any advice about the sex positions with animals & creatures it seems they are screwed i installed all requirements enabled finis and still all the same i can't get it to work right can someone help me please i also can't see penis on any creature except werewolves work fine
Deathmaw Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 I'm guessing there isn't a way for wolves to transition cells? They wont follow me through doors or cave entrances. I have to summon them everytime. *Edit* Also I'm having a lot of fun with this mod lol. Does the animal pregnancy make your belly bigger at all like SGO?
thingwhatsqueaks Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Plus I'm constantly adding new mods - which means if I had profiles, every time I switch characters, I'd have to update every profile to now include the new added mods. We should be encouraging more people to manually install mods; I'm not hating on mod organizers, they have their place, but the more independent gamers are, the better. And I think it encourages more people to become mod authors themselves. Not only is adding mods with a new profile is not tough to do it is in fact embarrassingly simple. 1) Enable mod(s), 2) Run LOOT 3) If necessary run FNIS, 4) ??? 5) PROFIT!!! MO also takes most of the guesswork out of trying to figure out what order mods should be installed in AND even lets you know when a mod is overwriting other mods or if it itself has been partially overwritten. On your second point I have no idea whether or not having everyone do everything manually leads to more people taking up modding but I can tell you that we very much should not be encouraging people to go manual. Have you seen the tech support forum here? Have you seen the support threads (like this one) both here and on Nexus? Skyrim is an unstable house of cards and even some of the most fundamentally simple mods can break it if installed incorrectly. Here's a question: Do you use a skeleton replacer? I ask because I just looked at the file structure in the .zip for XP32 MSE and there are nearly 90 folders that I imagine you would need to pick the correct assets from for a manual install. I can't even imagine how long that would take or, more importantly, how easy it would be miss a piece (or add a piece you weren't supposed to). Skeleton installation is something that people screw up enough when using a mod manager (usually failing to run FNIS AND/OR letting NMM overwrite something they weren't supposed to) and I cannot imagine the volume of issues the site would see if a lot people where trying to do this manually. ------ On-topic: Under 'My Pack' there's an animal listed that I know for a fact is dead. Is there any way to remove it from the list? I'm pretty sure what happened was that it heard 'Mating Call' nearly simultaneously with being mauled to death by existing pack members.
darkconsole Posted April 18, 2015 Author Posted April 18, 2015 i gave up on loot. these past few times it has made such obvious fuckups that took all night to conversely unfuck. unfortunately it seems that we will never have a sorter that can actually replace just not being bad.
