If you have Get to work they don't work at all right now.

 

I have Ge To Work, and I'm using the  I_NW_P_TA_1.3.32.1010v1_FiX and it's working for me (except for marriage).  The Mediocre Woohoo is a game bug, not a mod issue.

 

 

They do work to a certain extent, mostly just the whoo, although there is no try for Baby for same sex couple's ect unless I am doing something wrong

Just you watch. Another Update will come to fix bugs with GTW. Sims is a rough game to mod right now. I just hope my mods still work. :-/ If TV channels were affected, I'll need to remake them, and if any base-game clothing was given a different name or something....everything sucks!  8l

I must admit, I like this mod ("I_NJ_NW_P_TA_1.3.32.1010v1_FiX") but there are still issues that bug me.

 

It seems like PTME must be a part of it?  I have sibling sims who decided to get romantic all on their own.  Nothing serious, just flirting and whatnot. If I recall correctly, even unrelated sims don't do that in the base game, and I'd prefer they didn't.

 

Also, I don't particularly care for male pregnancy.  I don't mind it being an option, but every time I have a male-female try-for-baby, both of them get pregnant... often with twins or triplets.

So while I appreciate the mod for now, it definitely needs some work.  I'm getting tired of "killing" babies (i.e. deleting them in CAS).

 

Also, when the guy is pregnant, if I save and go to "manage worlds", then start playing that family again, his babies are already born and in world.  

 

Again, annoying, but it's still the best mod available to date.  Hope there will be some  updates soon, or perhaps I'll have to start finding out how to edit these myself.

So I want to apologize for my extended hiatus of late. Had some life issues to sort out, and they seem to be taken care of at least for the next couple of months so I can jump back into this thing again. There have been some major updates to the game in the last week or so, which if you're modding broke a couple of tools like your xml extractor, but I'm figuring most of it out and I'm starting updates to include the new expansion as well.

 

As of the last time I played this game, which I think was the Outdoor pack, same sex pregnancy broke so much stuff it wasn't worth including. Since I'm sort of starting fresh to trudge through the changes in the most recent patch, I'll see if I can get it to work without fudging the rest of the game, but no promises on that. I'm hoping this won't be a terribly lengthy process, since I'll just be comparing most of the new files to my old stuff and updating as needed.

 

For those that are noticing broken basic interactions in the expansions and are updating for themselves, here are some things I learned the hard way, but will be fixed in the more updated versions coming along.

 

1. All interactions updated in the base game must be formatted for the expansion as well. This is a simple filename change to match the files for each expansion. For instance, your original file from the base game is S4_6E0DDA9F_00000000_00000000000097C9. To include it in the Outdoor pack, you would change it to S4_6E0DDA9F_00000002_00000000000097C9. I haven't worked with the newest expansion just yet, but I'm making the educated guess that it's S4_6E0DDA9F_00000003_00000000000097C9. Once you've renamed the file you can load it into your package with s4pe and play away. Again, this is only for interactions you change in the base game that you want to keep the changes for in expansion areas.

 

2. 90% of same sex interactions are in the game already. The only thing that isn't already there is same sex pregnancy. And again, on previous versions, it broke so many interactions it wasn't worth beating my head into the table for. With the latest update, there have been a ton of changes, so maybe I can find a way to make it work, but until then, I'm gonna leave that one on the side.

 

If you want to try and get it working without breaking the interface, the tryforbaby interactions are the ones you want to target. Make sure that the male pregnancy multiplier is changed to something other than 0, then fiddle with the actor/targets until you get the interaction to go. For me it created a bunch of duplicate UI buttons and didn't play the actual animations for anybody, same sex or otherwise. You'll also want to make sure the pregnancy test interaction on the toilet is updated to include males. That one has no issues that I have seen so far. Also note that there was no way to specify who got pregnant at the time, so there was a good chance both characters got pregnant.

 

Again, just getting back into the swing of things, and I'll keep things updated here as I go. If I haven't responded to your pm yet, please be patient, I have to go back and find answers to things dependent upon the patch and mods you're using.

by the way I want to let know that in my game, all of your mod except the naked woohoo will make error/bug so some sims in some career WILL LOST their job and stated by the game they don't have a job

I notice so far most jobs/careers have affected by this bug, and they are Painter, Entertainer, Astronaut, Criminal, Culinary, Tech Guru

Business and Athlete are not affected

 

and I haven't check the Writer and Secret Agent

I'm getting the male pregnant as well after trying for baby.  Howver, I have the Pregnancy Mega Mod v4 by scumbumbo from Mod the Sims http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=548803which allows me to terminate my male sim getting pregnant.   I'm just trying to hang in there until it gets fixed, or it's updated to work.  So far with the mod in, I can't:

 

Get married (it has to be removed for the ceremony to take place)

Age up a baby (again, it has to be removed to age the baby up)

 

I'm sure there are more things I can't do, I have been up all night, and not thinking to clearly.

 

There is another mod by clown on Mod the Sims that opens up the debug-cheats which allows you to modify the relationships between sims, and it allows you to add spouse flag. [script Mod] enable advanced debug/cheat interactions http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=532735

 

(sorry if I am not allowed to post the links, I just wanted to show some work around until it's fixed).

I follow the work around this mod since September (old thread).

When you stopped coming 2 months ago I begun to feel that was reaching its end.

 

As many others said, I understand the basics on how to create a script and mod the game, but to emulate this masterpiece is beyond my expertise xD

Can't wait for an updated version =)

 

Personally, would be happy just with the original  " TA - I - NW "

I realize that other aspects (specially same sex pregnancy) require much more work and in fact I rarely use them in-game.

Yeah, all of the problems I'm seeing here right now are due to changes they made on the back-end of the game, mostly with the way the xml is processed. So you guys getting males pregnant is a change in the way the modifiers work now for pregnancy. I've got the plain incest version working already, so now I just need to get the Teen stuff worked out and I can make a sort of initial update.
 
Also of note, there are now aliens in the game with the newest expansions, so i may add something for that, but so far it looks like all interactions involving sex are disabled for them. I'm making an educated guess that the genetics engine will either get borked or do some strange things with human/alien hybrid children, so I'll take a look into that after I finish the initial updates.
 
Careers also made a change, so the outfit code for naked woohoo is updated to make sure people go back to work in the correct outfit. Those that are getting strange reactions are a result of the sim not getting back into their career uniform correctly, which is in the updated xml files. The teen part might take a little extra time, but for that I think I'll just ask the question, does everyone actually want the job parts for teens, or just the romance interactions?
 
Pros:
Not including jobs for teens cuts update time in half at least. (Just based on the massive number of files that get updated, and now I have to find the new stuff.)
 
Cons:
Teens will be stuck in high school with normal teen jobs until they age up.

 

Something for you guys to think about. I'll start with the romance part, since that's the one I actually want to finish first, and if people want the job part as well, it'll just extend the release time by a couple days to get all the new stuff sorted out. Let me know what you guys want and I'll see what I can push out.

 

Last but not least, regarding same sex pregnancy. The older version of that caused a lot of buggy behavior in the game, breaking interactions with objects, getting both characters pregnant, etc. I'm going to keep looking into it, but if the way the game handles that part is still messed up, I'll probably just be ditching that idea. I will however continue to look for way to target pregnancy in the interactions at least. It makes sense in my head that the pregnancy chances can be disabled for the actor maybe, so that only the target of the interaction gets pregnant, so I'll do some experimenting and see if that works out. That will at least allow the folks that want to fiddle with it on their own time to try and fix all the old broken stuff.

 

And I did read that some people had some characters doing romance actions autonomously. If you're using the NJ versions, this removes the affordances for jealousy, which basically just turns off all the limitations for romantic autonomy. Every sim basically becomes a whore at that point. Otherwise, you've got the incest version, and sims still do some romance interactions with autonomy, like flirting and such, so you might have some unintended brother/sister loving going on. There's not really a workaround for that outside of just using a version that doesn't have incest, but has the other stuff you want in it. Anyway, back to staring at xml for a while, enjoy your Easter Sunday everyone!

For me the option for the teen romance sounds best don't mind so much the job thing then maybe you can add a option down the line for the job option or both hope you can get the I_NJ_NW_P_TA_ updated to the new codes but with the alien stuff added also. :)

 

PS: Thanks for making/working on this mod Semajitor makes the game a lot better to play.

First, Welcome back Semajitor...I have a whole new appreciation for your work here :) thank you for all the hard work you do.

 

I too use a scripting cheat to get around the limitations and broken aspects of this mod at the moment.  Also for those who are having issues with marriage I found that once you propose, you can go into the CAS screen after enabling the cas.fulleditmode cheat in the console and edit relationships making the said sims spouses.   The game reacts just as if they got married with all the buffs etc.  Also uising this console cheat, you can change the sims last names to take on the spouses name if you want.  I am not sure if it works with teen relationships or not, i.e. a teen mother/father or teen spouse the game may not recognize these in the CAS screen.

I don't think that the males getting pregnant  is a bug with this mod. There are reports of this problem from people that use no mods. It seems to be a bug with the game from where males can get pregnant from alien abduction but they are also getting pregnant from the Try For Baby interacton.

The game does kinda go haywire with the males getting alie-pregnant. My sim took his very first space mission and came back pregnant and two days after having the baby, he got abducted and impregnated again. So I think Grimsoul is right about the male pregnancy being a game bug, n ot a mod bug. Really for me, everything else is working great for the most part. The only problem I have is my sibling sims can get engaged, but not married, even though the marriage option is there. I try for elope and nothing happens. I'm using the I_NJ_NW_P_TA_1.3.32.1010v1_FiX version of your mod.

 

I can easily wait for the elope part to be fixed, or even live without it, since everything else for me is working fine.

 

PS- Forgot to mention i have all the packs and updates. I'm as Simmed up as I can be for now.

Teen jobs can be another mod or something. Romance is the good stuff. The 2 don't really have anything in common.

 

I could care less about aliens.

 

My biggest concerns are NJ, I, Poly, All-age rom, all-age preg, all-age marriage, bathroom relief during Woohoo....wait....what did I say?

 

Um, so yeah, anything romance-related. (and more)

 

Honestly I didn't even realize there were teen jobs involved with the mod until people posted about them. I try to keep teens out of the game. Teens being 6 ft tall destroys all immersion for me, so I avoid all contact with them. I keep aging turned off altogether.

 

Anything and everything involving romance (if that"s what you wanna call it) is a Yes. Jobs are something else, and unrelated (unless we get a porn star career).
