I have a problem with the MCM menu. 

I would like to disable some of the animals in the creature list, most wildlife for example, skeevers, foxes, goats, usw. I don't use them for animations and thus the "equipped" MNC versions are a bit annoying. 

However, even when I disable them in the Creature Framework MCM menu, they stay equipped with genitals. What am I doing wrong? I read through the install guide and the mod page, and tried to dig myself through most of the 40 pages thread here. So if I am just overlooking something obvious please don't be mad at me.

That's due to MNC doing things improperly (it was originally made long before CF existed). It modifies the vanilla meshes directly rather than supplying a separate "unaroused/normal" state in addition to the aroused state.

not quite in v11, instead of replacing stock meshes the Armor Addon file paths are changed to MNC's mesh folder.

you would need to delete the edited Armor Addons in MNC's esp.

Are you sure i need that. I don't even know what to use from that site. Do i just use the link from the github site and type in there? I just want the newest version of creature framework. Old 9.0 of MNC used to have it (it still does but apparently it's the old version?). So do i justu se the versions from the downloads tab instead? (this mean "creature framework 1.1.0 pre-1 and pre-2"?)

 

edit: It pretty much said it in the title? I'm so sorry for being this confusing. It happens from time to time.

I'm trying to make the switch from NMM to Vortex. I thought I had everything switched over but when I try to load a save I get a message that says that CF is being downgraded to RC 12 and things will be broken, but I thought RC 12 was the latest version. I don't recall ever getting a later version, but I suppose it's possible one was included in an animation pack like RC 12 was included with MNC (I am still using MNC 9.3). I'm confused, is RC 12 the latest version or no and if not where can I get the latest version since the link given on the CF page no longer works?

"Creature Framework 1.1.0-pre2" is the newest version.

I'm setting up some custom creature races to work with CF - the JSON file looks fairly straightforward, but I'm not so sure about Armors and ArmorAddons. I'm not using any new meshes or skins or anything.

 

I was going to use Ted5Edit to copy the records as overrides from MNC, to make my life a bit easier. Would this be fine for CF, or should I copy them as new records?

Im sorry if its been answered already, but ive yet to be able to find any solutions. 

For some reason all the vanilla dogs in are blue and featureless, but seemingly shaped like the huskies. I havent been to Dawngaurd yet so IDK if theyre broken or not. 

 

The only Creature related SL mods I have are CF and MNC and after downloading those is when it started.

well you must have something your not aware of then, or have something that was not fully uninstalled, MNC does not turn the dogs into huskies.

without more info i can only make guesses, like maybe you installed a patch for a mod that you don't even have.

I just managed to fix it. Id exhausted my resources and was just hopelessly dickin around, and BAM. No more problemo.  I changed some dog peen setting in the sexlab creatures MCM tab. I never have to go into it so i didnt even think to check there.

in Sexlab Framework, male creature gender is shown as "female"

 

in that situation, If i turn on "use sexlab gender", Male draugr will be detected as a female

 

to other mods? such as defeat...

It seems that beastial essense mod doesn't work with this. The quest related creatures there use custom races for some reason.

What could I do to get erected dicks for them?

there is a patch for that mod in MNC's Mod Compatibility Kit....not that it will help much, it seems like the author has done everything possible to make the mod incompatible with MNC/CF, and they are ignoring any advise i give them to address the problem (like adding "defaultAllowPCDialogueScript" to there creature NPCs instead of using new races just to enable dialogues ?‍♂️ )

chances are you have moonlight tails installed, that mod conflicts with CF because they both work by hot swapping body meshes in game, even it's eye settings replace the werewolf mesh.

Yes, i have that mo enabled but there is an option to turn off those meshes. It used to work before with the version that came with MNC 9.0
