After exploring this mod for some time - I must say I it is fun and has some impressive scripting. I really like the direction where this mod is going

Ccouple of more or less random thoughts about it:

1) Maria seems to be stuck in Riverwood when saying lets go to bed - just standing on one place in a busy state. In Whiterun for example this script seemed to work.

2) There seems to be no enforcement on clothing - for example consider the following scenario

a) slave punches Maria

b )Maria punishes by disallowing clothes

c) after 5 minutes slave loots bandit corpse and wears armor

d) no reaction from Maria

3) Perhaps with clothing mechanics similar to msex Veronica could be implemented?

What I mean is - the ability to ask for a clothing permissions would offer a way to "earn" clothing privilege, and also make this mod somewhat compatible with Frostfall.

4) I think that punishments and humiliations (like public feet kissing) should have consequences:

for example

* whipping or caning -> debuff for a period of time for stamina & magica regeneration, perhaps also debuff for weapons skills

* public humiliations/walking around naked -> debuff to speechcraft (being ashamed or something like that). In an area where a slave was humiliated - if a slave gets free it will be remembered by people.

Perhaps after a while those debuffs will turn into buffs as slave learns to enjoy this type of things.

* gags -> debuff to speechcraft for a short time after being removed

In general, the idea is to provide incentives for the player to avoid punishments

5) Any plans on supporting Realistic Needs type of mods? Perhaps sleep deprivation -> another punishment?

6) Perhaps consequences for not complying for orders? for example:

1) Maria - strip! (for caning sequence)

2) slave doesn't strip for X time

3) punishment

I try to bring outfit observation back to my mod. But now I concentrate on social relationship and AI - I want that the mistress acts more like a real person - Mood and relationship rank should be changed by more conditions than only money and should have much more influence on then scenary. On the way to this  complex goal I add more mini jobs and conversation triggers.

I will start by saying thank you again for all your hard work and time zaira  =)

 

I believe the new build is much more stable.  One weird thing that happens my PC in solitude is that the Hired Thug/pimp keeps putting my PC in a cage for sleeping at 12:30 PM and 12:30 AM...  It really limits the amount of time you have to make your 2000 gold... hehe

 

There still seems to be some bug in Maria's accounting of ALL the gold she takes from you.  I had to use the cheat menu, freeze her, get some gold through the console, then go back and dialog with her about "I have some septems for you" and then she decided not to auction me off.... lol

 

Just a couple things so far.  Very fun to play.  I am still unable to save after any kind of whipping... this is ongoing.

 

On the other hand, I should also say that I was able to take a PC from a very old save, one who has considerable skills, and have her volunteer for slavery with the slavery guy in Whiterun, and that worked out great and seemlessly.  Yay!

 

What fun to try out old favorite toons in a new environment  =)

When your PC goes down stairs into the Temple, your PC will be confronted by one of the priestesses who will tell your PC to stay put until the Mother talks to you.  It is important that you do stay put.  If you don't respond to them in the dialog, they will attack you.

Awesome mod what I've seen so far!

 

I have a suggestion that would:

 

A) Address the overflowing repeat requests for adding compatibility/integration with LAL 

 

and/or

 

allow for a safe place for users to set up their mods (Sexlab, etc) without interfering with your scripted start in the cage/pen.

 

Option 1:

 

Set a global variable (something like "UseMariaEdenNewGame") and if the variable is set to 1, it uses Maria Eden and stops execution  of LAL (I'm -Assuming stopping the main LAL quest will do). This would be the default. If the players wanting a new game were too lazy to disable one/the other when starting a new game, then they could use the console, type "set UseMariaEdenNewGame to 0" and it would NOT start the start for Maria, and would start LAL. Alternatively, you could assume LAL, and force users to type said command, using the default as "Maria Off". I don't think it's the best solution, but it could be done pretty quickly I bet from the fiddling I've done in the CK.

 

Option 2: Delayed Start (My preference)

Using the MCM, when the player clicks the "Make me a Slave!" button under Maria Eden's MCM, it stops/completes the first LAL quest, teleports the player to the cage, and starts maria as normal. Otherwise, they become enslaved when they die, etc. Might take a little digging to find what you need to toggle in LAL (If you even want to add it as an automatic thing - could just give people the command (something like setstage SomeLALQuest 80 or whatever) and tell them "Hey kids, if you REALLY THINK you need multiple alternate start mods, you're going to break things if you click that button and DON'T use the console to run "X command". 

 

Neither option adds a new mod requirement, or involves heavy duty tooling on your part (I'd hope), but would give players of Maria Eden the one thing they might reasonably want to use LAL w/ Maria for - Setting up their MCM stuff for mods like SexLab, DD (if used), Other mods without popping open tons of MCM's while the intro to Maria is trying to fire. It caters to the people asking for LAL integration without the work while giving those people interested the capacity to enjoy said introduction without breaking immersion and/or breaking any Maria scripts connected to that intro.

 

 

I don't have any problems disabling LAL to play Maria, but I would enjoy having the LAL prison room for setting up all the crap I need to setup in the MCM (for example, setting the SL voices/animation options, configuring ImmersiveHUD, SkyUI as needed, push those silly buttons). 

 

Let me know what you think. Either way, just a suggestion. I'm not sure if LAL and Maria use the same launch scripts (haven't looked to be honest) but if not, might be super easy. If they are maybe rename Maria's start scripts and reference the LAL script if the GV isn't set or something... ?

well the thing is that when I start a new game it starts in the cave nearest to helgen not in whiterun. 

there are slavery spot and eden's house located in whiterun but when I talk to them there are no responses

also there is no mcm menu for maria eden as well....

To get her to go outside right now, I leave the house and then use the cheat panel to bring her to me.   Then take her into Whiterun and see what happens when you ask her things.. that is where the fun starts.. hehe

Yup but for some reason i could not force the owner to follow me by doing so - maybe because i used custom owner. Dunno. Tho she followed without any problems when i loaded earlier save and skipped temple and house scenes.

Guess it would be best to add one more quest here - very first whoring job - once owner would awake.

Like:

"I had a good sleep. Now, time for you to go to work - aren't you happy, my little slave?".

Owner would drag you to whiterun and start looking for Johns without you having to ask for it.

but there is one thing - is slot 51 forbidden to use for assignments? Tried to assign kendo2 naked mage jewelry as naked femdom set and it does not save the vaginal piercing every time (it uses slot 51 same as dibellas blessing).

I keep crashing whilst I'm in the cage at the very start of the game.

I have tried to disable all the script hungry mods and tried to start several new games and nothing has helped so far.

 

I get time to costumize my character, chose which side I sided with after Helgen and chose which start i want (Free, Slave, etc etc) but shortly after that my game CTD's.

Has anyone had a similar issue yet? I'm in the middle of looking through the Papyrus logs but I can't spot what's causing the issue.

 

I have the latest SKSE, updated fnis and all those basic steps.

Any help is appreciated.

Awesome Mod Zaria. It takes a little getting used to, but the more I play your mod, the more I love it.

In your list of potential conflicts you mention Follower mods.  Do you mean mods that add folllowers, or do you mean follower overhaul mods like EFF and AFT.  Or do you mean both types of follower mods?

 

Also, you mention that you are adding more content.  One area that could use something is Tavern Brawls.  Something in the line of my pathetic slave character getting knocked out with the first punch, blacking out, then waking up in the corner of the tavern the brawl took place in, covered in every bodily fluid that could possibly come out of humans.  Upon waking up, my character would also find her/his master very pissed off for having to pay out money to the npc I was brawling to make up for the Offense of being harassed by a lowly slave, and to the Tavern Owner for the mess that was caused in their tavern.  Which of course, would once again result in getting whipped.

The quest involved would have a 99% failure rate on the first attempt, with the chance at success increasing with each attempt.  Basically, the logic being that the npc you were brawling eventually just feels sorry for you and gives you what every it is you needed to complete the quest.

Something like that.  Really, just something that brings tavern brawls more in line with the flavor of the Maria Eden mod.

I have no CTDs after whipping with 1.10 (clean game) - even if I save directly after whipping - nevertheless I found one bug in the whipping quest. Maybe you should give PapyrusUtils 3.0 a try.

 

For both issues please provide a zipped log.

 

Regarding outfits: I use PapyrusUtils formlists for this feature. I could make outfit loading more fail-safe but this costs performance and since my mod is very script intensive I don't want to spend additional CPU in fail-safe coding. So everybody have to install all armor mods that are referred in Maria.json or have to spend some time in outfit configuration before starting. With PapyrusUtils 3.0 saving outfits via MCM works - at least for me - like a charm.

 

And there is no restriction regarding slots - I simply iterate through the formlist and equip each item. But the sort order may make a difference - I equip from bottom to top of the list. So try to move the jewelry to the top so it is equipped at last.

PS: And in addition I strongly recommend to use MO because it isolates every mod perfectly from other mods and you can see instantly which files are (virtual) overwritten by other mods.

I know MO is a bit less comfortable as NMM for example - but if you install, update and de-install mods very often it is very likely that NMM mess up your Sykrim.

Die APPS Relationship Points sind ja recht feingranular - ich befürchte nur, dass diese Granularität die Dinge nicht unbedingt vereinfacht - nach meinem Geschmack sind die Vanilla Relationship Ranks schon zu feingranular: Ich kann jemanden hassen, nicht mögen, er kann mir egal sein, ich kann ihn mögen oder gar lieben. Viel mehr gibt mein Gefühlsspektrum nicht her  - und das verbinde ich in Maria Eden 1.11 mit dem Mood - die kurzfristige Stimmung / Laune - zB. kann meine Mod Mistress auch nett zu jemanden sein, wenn sie ihn nicht mag, aber ihre Laune grade gut ist - und die Laune kann schnell schwanken - da will ich auch Hunger und Müdigkeit einarbeiten.

Mit APPS habe ich nun eine eingleisige Abstufung von 998 - was kann ich damit bewirken - wann haben welche Werte Einfluss auf die Quests?

 

Eine andere Sache ist, dass ich mich ja auf die Beziehung zwischen nur zwei immer gleichen Personen konzentriere - so wie ich das APPs verstehe, wird damit ein Beziehungsgeflecht korrdiniert?

Personally, I've tried PU 3.0 and it get worse: as I wrote before, I rolled back to a save where I haven't met with Maria or the slaver, because of the quest item loss. I had used PU 2.8 then and I had a lot of CTD but sometimes not.

With PU 3.0 I went to the slaver and tried the slavery options and found out that the instant slavery don't take my quest items so I wished to give it another chance. But I lost the ability to save the game, because its CTD chance rised to 100%. I've spent hours and the progress was 0. There wasn't any other change...

Finally I decided to reinstall the whole Skyrim with greatly reduced number of mods (with alternate starts as new ones, (which caused me a surprise that the new game started in the slaver's cage, so I reinstalled Maria later)). Oh, and this time with MO (but I was lazy to make the same ini tweaks as before (yeah I was an idiot when uninstalled without backing them up)). I still have CTDs (rarely), so I will search for the lost tweaks...

 

I prefer a slow, CPU consuming but safe solution rather then a lot of CTDs. CTD take time too (restarting and reloading the game), not counting the progress you can't make during that and especially you lost since your last save... Not counting Skyrim freeze, which leads forced log off/login or computer restart...

Anyway, the other side of the coin could cause a lot of CTDs too, when the mod is starting to eat out the machine's resources (there's one I won't use ever, however its concept is good too). But your mod is far from that. I can't imagine the game without a - not named - mod (and I think I'm not alone with it as I saw the activity in its thread), and it eats much-much more resources. I won't uninstall it until I have only few CTDs but every saving caused CTD is killing my metal nerves too. I tried to generate logs, but I get CTD earlier (at the point I get to the cage after choosing trying slavery), and the log was unfinished...

And one more thing: resource loss causing CTD because of heavy scriptload can be prevented by pausing the game by bringing up the console or the menu to give a chance to the scripts to catch up before they eat more. Oh and there are many tweaks to prevent them. But there's no player side solution to prevent unsafe script caused CTD... Or if anybody knows one please tell me.

However, I can't give up trying to make Maria happy ... I'm Watching this thread multiple times a day and hoping an update where these CTDs will be banished forever or reduced highly at least.

Nein, gibt es noch nicht. APPS selber sollte jedenfalls einer der ersten sein, aber das wird noch ne Weile dauern.

 

Nun, Du kannst die RelationshipRanks ändern von 0 auf 1. Aber wann tust du es? Ich nehme an, nach einer bestimmten Anzahl von Aktionen, die erfüllt wurden. Das ist im Prinzip, was unser Relationship Framework macht. Um vom Rank 0 auf 1 zu kommen, braucht es 100 Punkte. Nun könntest Du als Modder bestimmen, das eine positive Aktion 20 Punkte gibt, das heißt, es braucht 5 Aktionen um von Rank 0 zu Rank 1 zu gelangen.

 

Desweiteren kannst Du bestimmen, wie die Punkte im Relationship Framework mit dem Vanilla System synchronisiert werden sollen. Beide Systeme können synchron laufen oder aber auch getrennt. 100 RelationshipPoints (kurz RP) reflektieren das Vanilla Relationship System.

 

-99 bis +99 entspricht Stufe 0, -199 bis -100 Stufe -1, 100 - 199 Stufe 1 usw.

 

Ein Beziehungsgeflecht ist nicht ganz richtig, da nur zwischen Spieler und NSC RP vergeben werden können, aber nicht zwischen NSC und NSC. Allerdings können mehrere Modder unabhängig für den gleichen Actor RP vergeben und die Werte beeinflußen ohne in Konflikt zu geraten.

 

Wenn Du weitere Fragen und vorzugsweise Voice Chat hast, kann ich Dir das da auch genauer erklären.

For myself I have found that it is important to place yourself between the priestess and the rack before her dialog starts, so that after the dialog starts you are close enough to get on the rack.
