krittakitty Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 I'm keeping busy making the body updates for the lykaios Race, So far I have the tail and feet done, just need to fix the textures and then tidy the normal maps, currently doing UV mapping for the female body mesh ( 8 breasts! woah!) then will test out weight sliders. so we are getting close!

I still need to: Re-bake Normal maps for everything Re-texture the whole body head to tail to toe. The current textures are just place holders, the breasts will look better when I am finished . Fix seams on wrists and calves Fix TBBP/HDT weighting on the breasts. (yes, they already are) Tidy up weight painting AND then, all the above again for the males. I apologize for my crappy shadows also, I'm running this on a laptop at the moment, so everything is set to LOW.

I just wish EternalBlack hadn't disappeard on us. Personally, I'd like an option for somewhat larger breasts, but that's just me. I imagine it would be difficult to get a Bodyslide like option working, but that would be the best case scenario. I'll admit that's probably me being greedy.

This is the 0 weight slider, there is a 'larger' breasted option just need to get the body slider to work in game. And once they are done there is nothing stopping some creative soul from making them work with bodyslide since they are based on the CBBE body. I do admit my meshes aren't as tidy as they could be, which may cause issues in bodyslide (I've only started using 3ds Max in the past month but I've somehow taught myself how to create, edit and export well enough to produce playable meshes) It is unfortunate when awesome modders disappear, as I wouldn't have bothered trying to make this body mesh if EternalBlack was still sharing their work with everyone. But, where there is a will there is a way!

You, Sir, Madam or Other are truly talented. Imagine what you'll be able do do when Elder Scrolls VI comes out. @boo - While a valid point, there's only so much one can do if one does not want to go through and alter every mesh for vanilla + maybe DLC clothing and armors, or consigning everyone to wear only specially made clothes and armor. Although now that I think about it, that might help engender the mythical "immersiveness".

BOO: I was originally going to try and edit the skeleton, but as I can't edit the skeleton without it spazzing out I'm going for what is easier and playable at the moment. Sadly while a longer foot would look heaps better, it just will not work without a serious amount of edits to the movement animations and the skeleton. (believe me, I've tested MANY different shapes, this one seemed to work the best) As for plantigrade you can always use Grimoas feet which are already similar in look to this. I'll make sure I knock up a compatible texture which works for those feet eventually PPP: I'm going to leave the clothing to the other specialists since I'm kinda over making this body and i'm not even done!! argh! But it will get finished I promise.

I didn't make her terribly busty since I bet someone will edit this to have huge knockers in the first week I release it. It is sort of editable with bodyslide outfit studio, though it wont work with the individual sliders until someone can rig it to work. I've played around a fair bit and it is hard to get the breasts to look nice in game when they are overly large, since they tend to fold and clip in strange ways when you move and crouch. The 1 weight is very close to UNP_1 body. The 0 weight is VERY petite, in the end I'm aiming for realism with the shape and size rather than huge fantasy bewbs. (a wolf wouldn't be THAT well endowed).
Bad Dog Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I like the breasts as is. There's a 6-breasted werewolf running around with these gigantic gazumbas and it's just plain scary. Also awkward looking. This girl looks like she could run from Whiterun to Windhelm and back without getting winded. I think the feet look good too, especially given the compromises you're working with.

krittakitty Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 the foot will probably look odd with that skeleton and you also probabpy wouldn't be able to use the digitigrade skeleton for the new bodies unless the XP32 version they have also includes the belly node and TBBP weighting. It's dated early FEB this year, so probably an older version. WIll ust have to test it out and see that it all works without breaking my game EDIT: Yes, it works fine with the 'adjusted' verion they have on the DL page, and so does the TBBP. Not sure about the belly node though. It does look a tad odd with the feet pitched forward onto the tippy toes, but some people might like it

Hands down the best looking custom race ever created! The quality is stunning! Im gonna create a whole new character once this releases and try out the Perkus Maximus mod! It will be so awesome! How many more Days/weeks are we looking at?
