New one up with some heavy duty fixes for a lot of broken stuff.

 

- Being identified incorrectly for various reasons fixed.

- Incognito performance not granting higher tips fixed.

- Performing while incognito still being identified fixed.

- Cat calls not playing on interior performance fixed.

- Dates not following on visits fixed.

- Tons of tweaks to gains.

I'm getting a CTD when I drink water (dirty or purified) right after sex.  This has never happened before and I suspect it might be related to the recent changes in spunk detection.  Drinking water before sex has no problems.  This is without New Vegas Anti-Crash installed.  Haven't yet tried it with NVAC present.  Might be worth checking out.  The only recent mod changes I've made are Intimacy and adding SexoutNG 97 beta 6.

Beer doesn't do it, I haven't encountered any fresh apples yet in this game but I do have a prickly pear I'll go give a try to.

The crashing on drinking water was something I used to get with spunk alot of versions ago, but only if I was using Imps Complex Needs.

 

Put NVAC back in and it should fix it. That's what worked for me.

No I just used the default setting in Spunk.  I'll try the alternate setting.  Definitely doesn't happen with NVAC enabled and using the default washup setting.

Edit: Ok tested.  With activator based washup: drinking water from inventory doesn't crash but also doesn't clean-up spunk.  Drinking fountain brings up the clean-up dialog and works, no crash.  So  I guess it's a choice for me between the more useful effect based option with NVAC or activator based without.  Think I'll stick with NVAC since I sometimes get crashes at midnight without it.

NVAC suppresses the symptoms, it doesn't fix the problem.  It intercepts exception errors in an attempt to prevent a crash but it doesn't address the real root cause of the problem which is what is generating those errors in the first place.  With the last patch from steam, un-modded New Vegas almost never crashes for me, only a rare crash going through city gates in Vegas which I suspect is caused by those idiot Kings trying to catch up to me and give me something I don't want anyway.  NVAC prevents those gate crashes but on my older machine I get out of memory errors outside of Vegas causing a crash which never happens withought NVAC (sometimes there will be two or three error boxes generated by NVAC stacked on top of each other in the task manager.  I get some benefit from NVAC but it isn't that great.  The author of NVAC recommends that people not develop mods with it installed so they can avoid crashes that didn't come from the New Vegas Engine itself.

 

It's just my feelings on the matter, but I prefer not using it.

Hey man! 1st thank you for great mod. Sometimes its acting stupid as hell, but its really a good work and idea especially when you have some fantasy and a lot of patinece. 2nd i have a strange issue. My character in Zion now, and for some reason every time when i have date notification, sunny smiles apears before me:S I update, everything was fine, but for some reason its begin to happen. Mb you have some advices pls?

Where is your player home landmark set?  When agreed to the date, which option did you select?

I have a strange bug in my current play-trough. It started when I had a dance activity with pacer. My char performed a dance animation, Pacer not. From there on, whenever I start any activity with Pacer, no matter which one, my char dances ( Pacer not ). I had a makeout with him, but as soon as he asked me to seek privacy and the "Pacer is following" massages appears, my char starts a dance animation...

 

So far this only happens with Pacer, other NPCs don't seem to be affected.

Open the console select Pacer/PC and type NX_GetEVFl "SOI:Act:Dance"  Let me know what it reads for both of them.

 

EDIT:  Or better still try this one.  I've just improved action processing.  It should tell you in debug if there are more than one actions set, which is what I think is happening.  Uploaded.

EDITx2: The new one will tell you if there is an action conflict in debug.  Let me know which one is stuck.

I got the value 2 for Pacer and 0 for me. But maybe something else does matter more. This happens while Pacer is sitting in his chair in front of the stage. When I go there at night and meet him in the room, both chars start the dance animation and afterwards everything seems to be normal. So maybe the problem is just that he don't get up from his chair.

Hmmm.  2 means dance together, so dancing should make him stand up.  As soon as he gets an action it's probably going to try and process it instead of whatever else is supposed to happen.

 

Does package eval report attempted application of the stand package over and over?

No, I have not seen any eval report over and over again. I try to reproduce the bug, may take some time.

 

Edit IIRC Pacer sit beside his chair, and not really  on it when this happened. Is it possible that such a glitch cause problems?

No clue.  I'd have to see it and/or the debug output.

 

EDIT:  New one up stuffed full of debug.  Also the hotkey wasn't working in large groups, fixed.

Im not shure, where is this landmark is. If not a missclick, im shure, that had choose "Ill pick you up later" cos other option was always kinda spooky for me:D

New one up.  Added Atomic Wrangler hotel room to meetings/visits.  I've been working on the performances and everything related for almost a week now.  The other performers still need some work to avoid interactions while they're on stage performing.  I'm also debating adding some sort of invitation to the PC shows.  Not sure how I want to go about it.

 

Torn between having the feature only available for dates/visits, and some general thing where you can just run around inviting NPCs to your shows and they show up as the crowd (not as dates/visitors).  Any input is welcome.

Maybe both?  You could hand out a few regular invitation cards to NPC's (kind of like Tommy Torini's business cards for recruiting entertainers)  and then have a few special VIP invite cards for a lover or friend who you are trying to convince to try to take a walk on the wild side.

 

Sounds like a good idea either way you go.

So far I could not reproduce the bug I had with Pacer. But something else, I think prostitution haggling is bugged. I get way to much caps, more then the NPC actually own. In one case above 9000 for a single act, and in 2 further cases almost 20000 for several from the same guy at one evening. Sometimes I get those enormous high income even without haggling. It seems the budget/wealth limit do not work.

 

OTOH, if you barter for ammo, you get only 2 or 3 bullets ( that seems to be too low for me )

What is the value of the clothing the PC is wearing when this happens?  What is displayed as 'Market Value' and 'Budget'?  More details.

 

You should get more than 2 bullets unless you're extremely unlucky.  How long has it been since you restarted this mod fresh?  It hasn't given out that few bullets since a very old copy, and since then I have updated the leveled lists to give more ammo.

Just an example had in the last few minutes

 

value of PC clothing: 11

market value:  633

budget: 58

wealth: 199

 

offered 58 - after haggling 7741

 

after haggling i get often something around 10 times as much as the market value, no matter whether the NPC has so much money or not.

 

last mod restart was a week or so ago.

 

I am now at level 23
