It was the copy from this morning. I had the problem meanwhile several times, and for some reason always with the same generic NPC. This NPC was a patron before and have now lover status, maybe this has something to do with it.

I think I see what's up.  The debug says that Spieler still had a dance activity that hadn't ended yet.  When Spieler was picked up by the audience trigger, they get an action to make them face the PC during the performance.  But because dance was still set, the action picked that up as well and they danced.

 

I'll look into it some more.  Just a note that activities are never over until you get that [Activity Complete] dialog.  If you don't see that, you're still engaged in an activity.  You can also check the PC for an activity token by typing 'inv' from the console with the PC selected.  If you see an item labeled 'Activity', you're still engaged in an activity.

 

NPCs don't always use the strapon you gave them.  Sometimes they use their own.

 

EDIT:  Try the new one.  I can't tell how that NPC got dance set.  I thought it might have been an incomplete activity but now I'm not sure.  It probably happened before the debug started.  You might try hotkeying that NPC before dancing and see what happens.  You should get a package conflict reported in debug from the action script.

EDITx2:  There's only one place they can get dance set, and that's from dialog.  It can't happen any other way.  The debug is just too late to tell how it happened.

EDITx3: Question.  How close was that NPC standing to the PC when the performance was started?

EDITx4: Btw there's an interrupt checker in now for activities.  Only the (as you said) assholes should bug you during activities now.

- hm, after I had the problem I reloaded a previous game and talked to him and it was no activity dialogue. However, I have sometimes no activity complete massage, but the activity dialogue stopped. Not exactly sure from witch version on the problem started

 

- I I had an activity with this char, it must be quite some ingame time ago. ( and at least one real time day before ) Is there a way to check the status of the NPC via command code? Meanwhile I had several performances without this problem, but then it started again. ( again the same NPC )

 

- The char was closer to the Garrets then to the stage, so he was not really close.

You misunderstood me here - it was not only the problem, that she used an other one. I checked here inventory, the strapon I gave here was gone, and the strapon 03, that she did not owned before, was suddenly in here inventory.

You misunderstood me here - it was not only the problem, that she used an other one. I checked here inventory, the strapon I gave here was gone, and the strapon 03, that she did not owned before, was suddenly in here inventory.

 

Yeah I probably broke something a few copies ago, and then fixed it in subsequent copies.  I had some wonkiness with activities too a couple copies back before I finished the new range adjustments on the scanner.

 

You can check any of the actions from the second post via the console.  ex: nx_getevfl "SOI:Act:Dance"  will return the current dance setting.

 

They can't carry strapons in inventory because they wear them and never unequip it.  The only time you should see them in their inventory is when they're wearing it.  Otherwise it has to be removed so they don't walk around wearing a strapon.

The reason why I wanted to change the Strapon was, I want to check if I get more XP with an other one. At least that was my impression from the last game, at the moment I get only 1 to 3 xp each time.

 

It was not an SOIR NPC. Actually I don't use them much anymore, because of missing dialogues. It was a generic NPC, maybe from the "populated casinos" mod

 

I found an other minor problem. Between initiating sex and animation start there is a small time leap. It can happen, that during this leap the NPC is trying to talk to you. Sometimes this conflicts with the animation ( in one case my PC became invisible )

 

Edit: I had the problem again with an other NPC, and now I am sure it is not an unfinished activity, I got during the strip performance a massage: activity added

XP from the spunk perk?  Not sure.  I always thought it was based on experience.

 

I've reworked the approach system again.  The last few copies have been screwy due to working out the experimental ranges.  I may have a handle on it now, but it's much more choppy for me than it used to be.

I'll look into it.  Also, interruptions will happen.  Though you won't see the new chances of that happening unless you start the mod fresh.  So any NPC that was added before the version with the function added will probably have a higher chance of interrupting until they process a few cycles.

 

Actually, it doesn't imply that expressly.  If you try and solicit in front of the Five and Dime, you're encroaching upon their territory, and they aren't your direct competition. lol  In my culture, gangs control territory.  If you try and conduct business in their territory, competition or not, they're going to want a piece of the action.

 

What's the 'Gomorrah outfit'?  The NCR license doesn't allow you to work The Strip, because it isn't NCRs territory.  It belongs to House, who in turn has contracts with the businesses there.  It's the reason why the whores from Freeside can't just wander onto The Strip and conduct business (unless they work for one of those businesses).

 

Further, being caught by the wrong MP or other NCR official can get your license revoked on The Strip.  Currently there are two ways to work The Strip without hassle.  Max rep, and going pro at Gomorrah (replace what's her face after she runs off with what's his face by talking to the receptionist).  Though a series of sex bribes and pay offs will still work, it's just riskier.

There are still a few adjustments needed.  Currently it's based on the social flag.  Soon I'll factor in respect.  Interruptions should taper off in the next few copies.

 

Probably the combination of being in a position of authority and corruption.

 

If you got the outfits from the receptionist work inquiry, then your PC should be flagged professional.  Which means they shouldn't bother you at all in the latest copy.  Unless you're referring to a previous copy.  Btw there's nothing requiring you to wear those outfits.  They're just a bonus.

 

I don't know about a date, but appointments are planned and I'll probably add that location when I put appointments in.

 

Not sure what happened to the Join function.  I know it was working because I've gotten it once right after I added it.  But now I can't find where it's set, and it doesn't appear to be working.  It's as if the settings that kept track of join just disappeared.

Just an idea, locations can give bonuses or penalties depending whether the NPC is feeling comfortable with the location or not. Gomorrah might be an ideal place for NPCs with high promiscuity level, while NPCs with promiscuity level 0 feel uncomfortable there

New one up.  Gutted the gifting/favorites/unlock system.  Also Join should be fixed now.

 

- Clothing mod items are automatically added to the favorite clothing list (must be worn at least once).

- Favorite clothing applies to all slots, instead of just the main outfit (ex: favorite earrings).

- Activities/Gifts that exchange favorites are now indicated by dialog (give or receive).

 

Needs more work.  Some of the affects are still missing.

New one up.  Stability update.  Major overhaul to many functions trying to bring order to chaos in crowds.  Lots of changes in order to isolate scenes.  Note that stalking is now a background process.  Activity tracking has been rewritten to better handle multiple activities/abandons.  All in all, scenes should move along more smoothly with a lot less interruptions.  More to come.

No idea.  I've never tried unethical deeds.  If the mod uses the standard exception settings then it should take precedence over this mod (notnow,restricted,reserved,banned cell, etc.).  If not, it may or may not cause problems (though I have had no reports).

PROBLEM WITH DOWNLOAD

 

I downloaded the files a few days ago and no problem with them, but today I wanted to download it again because I've seen that have been updated and I wanted to try the new version ..

 

Unfortunately the SOI-option and Soi-music  downloaded files are damaged  (7zip and Fomm can not open them "can not open"), I tried downloading several times, but  will not work.

the intimacy.esp files and SOI-data not have problems

 

I repeat that the "old" files that I downloaded a few days ago I can open them and have them load from Fomm smoothly

(I'll use those but I still wanted to warn you)

to me the current version works fine. I had a similar problem a while ago, in the end the files where broken when I downloaded them with Opera, but worked fine when I downloaded them with Pale Moon - no idea why a download can be browser sensitive,

The main file and data seem to be fine.  The music and options were corrupted for me as well.  Must be a cloud issue this time instead of the usual browser issue.  Re-upped both files, tested, working.

The music files in the data pack are placeholders only.  The files in the music pack is the same song copied over and over for those too lazy to customize their own music.  What you should really be doing is dropping your own custom music in the music pack and installing those.

 

Just extract the music pack to your desktop or somewhere.  Drop your own custom music into it, overwriting the files that are there.  Then zip it back up and install with FOMM.
