I see some of the axes and greatswords are only 1.3 reach. Maybe he is talking about those.

 

I know all GS's and Saxes are 1.3 though the SAxes could be just barely longer I still think they are perfectly fine as is.

Wait, um, let me say it in this way. Daedric warhammer is already 1.3 reach. If you change to any axes while holding it you will see axes are approximately 2.0 reach. You can try and see. ;)

Yeah I understand weapon size scaling issues and all but if you actually pause and take a still shot using the console in the exact spot a target is just hit you will see that the weapons themselves are still a few feet away from the target, in that example the hammer should be scaled down. I could make them .05 or .1 bigger or something but I find them to be perfect and its such a small thing.

 

Here these both registered as hits.

Well first i am a new member. I want to thank u for the mod, i am a great fan of MH series. All weapons are really good!!! Congrats.

 

But i think i got a problem, the speed for the one handed swords are too quick!!! It really over power, i dont know if it is a bug or else. Can u pls help me here?

Not a bug I purposely made them that fast to match the crazy speed they are in MH. Overpowered? Yes. Fun(to me)? Yes.

Hey Guilmonex how should I do the armor rating of the shields? Should I do it off of the attacks of the lances, by size and material? Or just make them all about as strong as the Daedric shield?

If you will make upgrade path for them, rate by size, level and material. If not, just make them as strong as daedric shield.

 

What do you think?

Hmm I might do a simplified upgrade tree like remove duplicates of shields so there won't be any "+" forms or stuff like that. I could make the final shield in the path be as strong as the Daedric and have it be weaker by 3 or 5 going backwards though that might take some tweaking to get right. If all else fails I will just guess what material they would be in Skyrim's world and work it based off those tiers stats.

"Hammer tree's recipe" are the three errors.

 

1. "Great Gaiarch" recipe of the "Great Gaiarch" the problem is in place. : "Great Gaiarch" -> "Gaiarch"

 

2. "Bone Hammer +" on the recipe of "Bone Bludgeon" the problem is in place. : "Bone Bludgeon" -> "Bone Hammer"

 

3. "Ludroth Bone Mace" on the recipe of "Bone Bludgeon +" the problem is in place. : "Bone Bludgeon +" -> "Bone Hammer +"

 

Esp file, modify the above three problems attached.

This file is the 17.8 version.

Guilmonex I decided I will do full on path trees for the shields and will try to base their defense on the damage of the lance. Though I probably won't work on those until the weekend.

Great mod, keep up the good work!

 

Is there anyway to add new smithing 'metal tabs'?

 

Rather than putting great swords under the dragon 'metal tab' etc. Have a great sword 'metal tab'?

 

If you see what I mean? Its just with this mod and other crafting mods I find my smithing tabs getting very crowded. :s

 

Just a suggestion, if it can't be done-no worries.

I'm pretty sure you can't though I could be wrong and if you actually can I would gladly sort out each weapon class to their own crafting tab.

Hey Guilmonex I have started adding glow to weapons with Djinn being the first one. How do you think it looks? I think the color still needs some slight tweaking but otherwise it looks pretty good.

 

Also any suggestions about the file size cap? Know a good file host?

Tweak it a bit more orange/red in color? I think it is very close now.

Make the alatreons' glow too. :D I can try tweaking its scythe to attack form but the great sword is still a pain to do.

Check out the glow on the new weapons (Vulc, All alas, and Lightning works/Rising Soul) I think they all look as good as I could get them at night but daytime they are a little too bright.

Also I'll try out mediafire.

 

BTW' date=' can you make elemental/status weapon have unlimited effect so don't need for refill it. just like in MH

I don't think you can do infinite but I'm pretty sure you can edit how much the enchantment costs.

Hey Guilmonex I made a script that transforms the SAxes so now should I delete all of the sword form recipes? I'm hesitant because some people might not find the spell or realize it exists (3DM forum post for example) and will be stuck without the swords. Also I can't think of anymore weapons with glow, did I miss any?

The direction of the Djinn, Jhen Kodachi and the tusk gear Shield looks strange in the screenshot.

 

Great! Its ok to delete all sword form recipes and then Auto Add the transformation spell instead of buying or picking up.:)

The shields are "sideways" like that in MH, it could be their size?

Let me find the auto add thing.

 

I think you can check the "The Killing Moon or Maximum Drive", they are auto learn spells/abilities.
