myuhinny Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Newmiller is a modder they had many items on the nexus if their mods are gone chances are they got tired of the nexus BS and moved their mods to a different site. Like naver or they have their own site. They are not the first to pull their stuff from the nexus and they probably won't be the last.

Oh well he'll probably set up shop somewhere else (maybe even release some new stuff, that would be nice). His Stocking, Bikini, and shoe set was really nice. The Jewelry set was good, the piercing set was good.. I'ld love to see a higher detail version of the piercing set, ya know new textures, new mesh's, and a Body Slide 2 set so you don't have to pick body a over body b....

Anyway, there's a lot of people leaving that place for several reasons, from banning to simple convenience. The only thing I know, is that if I release a mod from a game in the future (someone said Kingdome Come Deliverance? ) I'll think it twice before upload it to Nexus. We need an alternative, or at least a G or PG-Rated alternative, for those content not 18+ rated (we have Loverslab for that tough)

I was looking at a site for random CBBE female armors/clothing mods a bit ago, and found a page for his Vampire Cuirass but it linked directly to the Nexus page which was gone. So I dug around since I wasn't knowledgeable on him, found out it was his. Checked his profile, no files, all of his activity seems to have been erased save a few posts. Tried to message him and he's blocked PMs. Kinda sucks, I don't have that mod(yet). Ever since a friend introduced me to the Nexus I've been saving all of the mods I download in a collection, but that's standard for me because I usually save everything I download. It's for this reason I also kinda hate the whole "Never upload my stuff anywhere else" thing, because distribution is partly how things get recognized(to me at least). I found ONE non-Nexus download for that vampire armor but I wouldn't recommend it to those that don't have it, it's a site that caps speeds real low(6 hour estimate for the full archive download for me). I'm not very familiar with all of his mods, any really, except one bikini mod he did. Does anyone have the Vampire Cuirass with Chains mod and any of his others that could send them my way? I at least wanna try to get the vampire armor without waiting for him to possibly re-up things elsewhere...oh, and for that matter, uh. Does anyone know about his mods? Like I said, I had one bikini mod of his to my knowledge and that's it. I dunno what else he's done besides that and the vampire.

So, what is the general consensus concerning permissions. Before, permissions was granted for edits/retextures/mashups/adding to another mod provided a credit was given and link to his Nexus page. Now that he took everything down, do those permissions still apply.
Jazzby Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 No idea. My advice, for what it's worth, would be to try and see if he complains later unless he comes out and explains or re-ups them or something. I just hope someone has the mods that will share them privately with me in the meantime.

No surprises if he pulled everything out because of the drama or that some bible-thumper tried to report his mods for offensive content or bullshit like that.
