I am trying to fix some of the errors in the children.

Invalid biped object can usually be ignored - it results from forcing the CK to do things with slots it wasn't designed to expect, you will see similar errors if you load devious devices (for example) into the CK - the quest errors are more interesting as they probably do represent some kind of problem.

I think those 2 errors are connected.

If you are male you cant use the healing spell provided by BFAP. Even if it is your Spouse you try to help.

I have had a go at fixing the errors in the addon esp - it needs testing properly so I will play with it for a while, if you (or anyone else) wants to try as well here it is....  As I have fixed some broken properties I think you would probably need a clean save to get all the benefits (whatever they are!).

 

Changes are:

  • Fixed broken properties linking several addons to the addonmanager
  • Deleted broken duplicate baby items 

Edit: Using the fixed esp has caused serious issues in some saved games during my tests  (I've had no issues with new games) - be warned!

No - this is a stand alone test of the addon esp only... I wouldn't advise using it for anything except testing and certainly not on your main saves!!!

 

For me it seems fine on new games - has caused serious issues with some saves but not others...

I'm interested in giving this mod a try, but I had some questions regarding how the contraceptives work. The thing is, I like the idea of pregnancy being a potential scenario and outcome in the game for immersion/realism reasons, but at the same time I don't actually want my character to get pregnant at any point, I just want it to be a scenario that she has to actively make an effort to avoid, if that makes any sense. From reading the description page of the mod, I can see that there are two contraceptive methods: Contraceptive Fluid and Anti Sperm Fluid. Do these methods have a 100% success rate when it comes to preventing pregnancy, or do they only decrease the chance? Also, judging by the info on the description page, the Contraception Fluid seems to have a cooldown period of a few days, otherwise it stops working. But it seems like you can use the Anti Sperm Fluid technique as often as you want. Is that correct? I guess what I'm mainly asking is: how easy is it to avoid pregnancy altogether if your character is having sex on a very regular basis?

 

Edit: one other question - does the mod recognise oral & anal sex as being "safe" and having no risk of pregnancy?

Well I do have a problem to report with the new esp, something seems to have broken the addon layout.  For instance, the hunger addon showing up in the BFACCA race list, which when clicked on, isn't the hunger menu, its a random race menu.

Is that on a clean save or an upgrade? I saw this when I tried to upgrade (and it was symptomatic of other game breaking problems) but on a new game everything looks  fine to me...

I always do new games when updating scripted mods.

 

You dont need to do that all the times. It depends on the mod it self.

You can update B-F to one new, but it is little tricky, sometimes it do work and sometimes not :(

 

If you get the error you showed us, then you have some serious problem. You should not play on. Instead check what can be wrong.

You should try to tell B-F to uninstall it self.

Make one save (That you can delete later) After B-F have told you that it is safe to remove it.

Turn off Skyrim, turn off your PC, wait little and load the save again.

Restart B-F after it have loaded it self again.

 

Try that and tell us how that did go.

 

Question do you have Bfap1.3?

If you have it have some files in it that should not be there.

I did write one post about it the other day.

I don't use Bfap1.3. Using that modified plugin makes MCM blow up SKI_Config stuff complaining about fwability and generates 978 mb papyrus log quick, so large that notepad++ can't open it.

 

Yes that is why you should remove some files from it :P

It is actually one good addon to B-F.

And it needs to be loaded after B-F addon.

 

Did you try the suggestion I did give you?

If you check zillions of pages back you will find solution for the papyrus.

And one question. did you run loot. did you install your mods in proper order.

It is one plugin for support to Rcots children. So you don't get vanilla children you get Rcots preset on them.

 

 

I've installed this mod but i've run into the problem described on the main page where Being Female shows up in my MCM list, but when I click on it the window is just black and there are no options at all. I've tried deselecting/reselecting the .esp and reinstalling the mod from scratch but it doesn't make a difference. The main page says I should use the console command "bf:code" (without the quotes) but when I do it just says "Script command "bf" not found"

Scroll around 20 pages back or use the search for one fix made by Bane_master.

 

You have run in to the most common issue whit the mod.

All information is in the last 40 pages or so.
