Hey Milzschnitte is there a solution in the works for being female being disabled in the mcm menu?

Not realy. I still don't know where this come from and why this happen. But when I figure out where this comes from, I will fix it for sure.

I think I will concentrate even more on this bug. As far as I could see, it happens to those, who updated BeeingFemale.

Running the old 2.5 version with newest Sexlab atm. No problems so far.

Posted (edited)

I run 2.6 and no problem. Latest sexlab fnis and all other stuff.

The problem as I can se it is probaly you have installed in wrong order, and perhaps your load order is not right.

Do you use the version that use CANS? That version have issues.

Reinstall BF and use the install order as it says on page 1. It is importent that you do that.

Make sure that Beefemale.esm is loaded after Sexlab. My self always put it last of the *esm files. Seems to work best then.

Dont use the CANS. It dont work properly.

And you should not downgrade any mod at all. Better to start new or use what you have. you will end up whit one broken save.

If you start one new game whit 2.5 do it work then?

Have you run LOOT on your load order? That part is important.

And how did you install?

i use NMM i use Tes5edit to see what mod needs cleaning and to do a "Soft" load to see if conflicts with other mods

Sometimes i do manually if a mod author says so.

Avoid the CANS version.  I have heard many bad things and many curses sworn...Uninstall completely.  Use the regular version.  I don't understand what exactly he problem with it is, but it might be corrupting your save even after you remove it.

Ok.

First DONT clean mods. Only masters like Dragonborn/heartfire and those.

If you need to clean one mod you actually need to check the mod page to see why is there dirty errors in the mod. Some mods do actually need those to work properly.

What you should do is remove all cleaned mods, and install those again.

Install Wrye Bash as supplement to NMM

Remove all tracers of CANS since it dont work properly. Have not tested the lastest.

Stick whit the BF version you have in your current save DONT roll back. Use 2.6 if you have that. You can use the one from Nexus. Works fine. But it needs to cleans.

After that you actually need to tell NMM to remove the files not disable them. Remove all files.

You need to start from scratch.

Why do not people read descriptions better.

"First DONT clean mods. Only masters like Dragonborn/heartfire and those." thats what i do except when a mod author says so. and i use a VMware and fresh install of windows and everything else with almost all the same mods except some new ones to test if any mods have any issues before i make any changes to the current game and my main machine.

I've been having two glitches that are proving really annoying to fix. First off, there's absolutely no sound whatsoever. Looking through the mod files and scripts I'm assuming your character is supposed to have various 'pain sounds' and such play during birth? Complete silence - and I have no idea why. Everything is manually installed in the right directories, no error messages or anything. The sounds just aren't playing.

The second glitch is a minor graphical bug: After birthing my character generates some sort of particle effect that is missing a texture file:

- This one seems to be something going on with one of the texture files, but I'm not sure if it's a script related issue as well...

Also, I noticed that the "Strings" folder in the mod files is completely empty. Am I missing something?

Ok, I've figured out the Particle Emitter bug, and I'm about to fix it.

There was just a checkbox checked, that's it.... but my fix looks bit different, I will add some blood emitters.

About the pain sounds, It will use the SexLab pain sounds. For those who doesn't have SSL installed, they need to wait a bit.

//Edit: Ok, I will just uncheck the box :) Emitters aren't mine

Could you make sure that the Tampons/pads (Undies?) do not conflict with the Armor slot (or a DD slot) for this update? I downgraded from 2.6 to be able to have Armor and Tampons on at the same time.

The problem is, that there are no "armor" slots. There are just body slots. Slots 30 to 43 and slot 61 are defined by Bethesda, all other slots are free to use by all modders.

OK, there is something like a consensus regarding the usage of the free slots, but in the end the users have to choose their priorities.

In my opinion there is nothing to change with the sanitary napkin. At least it is a panty and in reality there are only a few people wearing two panties the same time.

It's different with the tampon. Since DD sets body slot 57 for the vaginal plug (other sources like tesnexus use it as slot for shoulder) I would suggest to use slot 57 for the tampon, because tampon AND vaginal plug at the same time sounds weird. There is also the option to use slot 54 (DD isn't using it) but I don't know if there are other mods which use this slot.

Ok, will take a look at the slots again.

Slot 57 for tampon.... well... I need to take a look first. I'm not surte about it, but I think the Baby Sling uses slot 57

I made all the sound stuff ... but I've got some problems with raising the sound events >.< again "no native object bound"

I hope I will find a way to fix it :)

The panty slot (slot 52) being used for tampons is not a good choice.  It seems like a natural because - panties, but all the vanilla armor and clothing in Skyrim which I have checked so far use two slots - and one of them is slot 52, meaning that anytime a tampon is equipped the clothing or armor is stripped off.  Most armor conversions don't seem to be using slot 52 which is good, but anyone who uses some vanilla armor and clothing will always have problems.  I hope you will choose another slot :(

I tried changing the slot assignment for the tampons in the construction set myself but it didn't work in game, probably because I don't really know what I am doing and it is not as simple as just changing the slot

Which vanilla armor or clothing is using slot 52? As far as I know vanilla armor or clothing never use the slots 44 - 60.

I had never had such problems when using vanilla armor or clothes. Which esp is causing this?

@Milzschnitte:

Ok, slot 57 for the baby sling makes sense. But the slot for the tampon is still a problem in my opinion. Maybe slot 54 can be used for it.

All of them use slots 32 and 52.  I used the strip item editor in Sexlab to look at which slots were in use for every armor and clothing item I had in Lakeview manor.  Without exception, the vanilla clothes and armors are using 32, 52.  This represents Farm Clothes, tavern Clothes, Wench clothes, apprentice robes, Guard armor, Steel Plate and Orcish.  The only armor or clothes I can find that don't use slot 52 are armors added by mods.  In the past when I've checked, total replacers like ChronoTriggers don't use slot 52, but every unmodified armor I've checked in game is using those 2 slots by default.

This is why some of us have problems with armor unequipping when tampons are equipped.  If you aren't using armor which has been "fixed" by a modder it's using 2 slots.  Unless it is something that is being done without asking by Schlongs of Skyrim, but I don't know why female armor would get "Schlongified", and either way, slot 52 is a bad choice.

Your armors are using slot 52 because you have SOS installed, which uses slot 52 for the schlongs. It adds 52 to all body armors (32) in order to effectively 'remove' the schlong when an armor should cover it. You can only disable this feature on a per armor basis via the SOS MCM by 'schlongifying' the armor, stating to SOS that its okay to not allocate slot 52 to that particular armor. Or just don't use SOS and then all the body armors in the game would only use 32 again.
