Uhuru N'Uru Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Allow me to reiterate my earlier statement (at least I remember mentioning this recently). The 2.6 version on either site is the same. All the sexlab features we know are in the nexus version as well, but if you don't have sexlab installed, they wont show up at all even in the MCM. File for file, byte by byte, the two 'versions' are not one bit different. I doubled checked this as well, downloading from the nexus again. The files in both directories are not only the same size, but even have the same creation date for the .esm file, which was 11/09/2015 at 6:31pm. Edit: My prior statement does still stand, but yes there was a change to the mod. The baby.nif file in /meshes/BeeingFemale/ was removed due to that issue stated in an earlier post. Aside from the actual coding or content of the files, everything else I checked (about 80% of the files) was a match looking at them side-by-side. That's not correct, there is no 2.6 on LoversLab, the rest of your statement is accurate regarding the Nexus version having the SexLab content. Whether it did exist before the reboot of LoversLab or not I'm unclear, this is one of the mods I always keep a lookout for and I only have the Nexus version of 2.6, I would have got both and hash checked for differences, if I had seen BeeingFemale v2.6 on LoversLab. So to my knowledge, 2.6 has never been hosted on LoversLab I said 2.5 fix 1 and 2.6 are the same apart from the baby meshes, however a recent bug report suggests that 2.6 may have some unique bugs, the only way to know the differences in the files is to hash check them all. I have done this, using a handy multi-file hash checker called QuickSFV; A bad file means different, not that ones right and the other wrong, they're just not the same. Missing means not the same name or removed. 2.5 fix 1 had, when compared to 2.6 591 files in total 164 bad files 80 missing files 2.6 had, when compared to 2.5 fix 1 633 files in total 164 bad files 122 missing files That means 164 files with the same name are different, between the versions. A maximum of 80 files are name changes or removed in 2.6 42 files are completely new and only exist in 2.6 So though your correction wasn't targeted at 2.5 fix 1, the correct comparison between the sites hosted versions, shows many differences. The best advice with so many differences and the potential new conflicts with the many other SexLab mods and Addons for BeeingFemale, is for SexLab users to stick with 2.5 fix 1, hosted on LoversLab. If you want to help test 2.6 to find and fix the inevitable bugs between it and the SexLab functionality, then you should use 2.6 with SexLab. Currently for a better playing experience, mainly for existing compatabilities, rather than anything fundamentally wrong with 2.6. SexLab users are better sticking to 2.5 fix. More compatability is the only real reason for this advice, when all the plugins are updated and/or made obsolete, is the time for users to update. So you see even if LL hosted 2.6, the advice would be the same, once the compatability issues are tested and fixed when required, then is the time for a mod user to update, once the testers and other mod makers have also done their part. [Edit] I think 2.7 will be the version that users end up upgrading to, the indications are that there will be changes that require new compatibility patches for most mods with that version, which is intended to be hosted on both LL and Nexus, I think it's a mistake not to post 2.6 here, this is the development site. LL should always have the latest version, if the author wants it's users help to develop the mod. Partly, out of respect to those who supported it and may be banned from the Nexus, but mostly because it hinders the development, if they can't get the latest version. I have no idea how long it will be until 2.7 is released, if it's more than a week. I think the development will be better with 2.6 hosted here. The general rule is, give the latest version to the development site first, I see no reason why that needs to change for BeeingFemale.
Sagebrush61 Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 -snip- Version 2.6 was in fact hosted on Loverslab, I downloaded it here. There is a long post by Milzschnitte on page 130 of this thread soon after we reverted to the old forum which explains. He also states in that post that it is the same as the version on the Nexus. He apparently didn't re-upload it here after the reversion although he was planning to. I can tell you that if you install it correctly it works fine with Sexlab 1.60 fix 2, and with Sexlab Aroused Redux, Slen and Sexlife. Haven't tried it with any of the add-ons. Any add-on which replaces scripts from Beeing Female and hasn't been updated might cause problems, depending upon whether or not the Scripts they overwrite were updated in 2.6.

Fair enough, I only said I hadn't seen it. Not that it didn't exist. The fact remains it's currently unavailable here and what's currently available, was the version comparison we were discussing, not what was once available. Where 2.6 is hosted is irrelevant to the fact that, until enough time has been given for required updates, needed for compatability with other mods. Someone just wanting to play with the mod and not test the latest version, should always wait and plan for coordinated updating for all their required mods. Testers should always use the latest version though and that's why I think 2.6 should be reuploaded here, unless 2.7 is here very soon.
ladymimori Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Uhm..Hello again!^w^; thank you for the speedy and helpful responses. I have successfully gotten the child actors to work for my game . Are they supposed to be significantly smaller than other npc children? Is there any way to fix that? Also..It seems that the child actor is always nord-like in appearance..even in cases of 2 khajiit or a khajiit and an elf. Did I do something wrong there or are the child actors not compatible with other races? I thought that the uhm..add-ons that came with the mod with a list of added races meant there could be children of the other races. Thank you for your time

I thought that the uhm..add-ons that came with the mod with a list of added races meant there could be children of the other races. Thank you for your time The size difference is a feature of the mod, no way to turn that off last I checked. They start small, then 'grow' into full size over 20 days I believe. Full size is of course compared to vanilla children. The race issue is due to that being the only option in Beeing Female alone. There is no add-on for child actors (for 2.6 yet) for all the vanilla races, so Beeing Female will only produce vanilla 'Nord' offspring while set to Actor. When the add-on for RS Children is updated, then the child will have some features of the parent, such as race and hair color. I also remember Treguld mentioning quite some time ago that he was incorporating the mer and khajiit races to the child actors, but it has been a while since we last heard an update for it since he was working on varying presets for the children so they are a little unique each time.
Unknownghostlydunno Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I was testing out a bunch of mods, this being one of them and on the 2nd,3rd and after birth if I talk to a try to enter a shop vendor buy/sell menu I get a CTD, anyone else got this issue?

Run loot check your load order, it is not this mod that makes your CTD.

Not sure on the item, I haven't actually ever had it set to item, but 2.6 is available on Nexus. Hasn't been re-uploaded here.
yc7325353 Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Why I can't download it,the web prompt network connection error
Drugas Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I went and put the baby.nif, baby_nord_item_f.nif, baby_nord_item_m, baby_reg_item_f.nif, baby_reg_item_m.nif into the 2.6, abd had a baby slung, so it appears the mesh is still supported and you just got to put it in the file? Anyway, I like 2.6's interface a lot. It still has a pretty bad misspelling of the recovery from birth status. It is spelled "Replanish", I suspect it is supposed to be "Replenish". Any good compatible mods out that grow the baby item into a child?
Uncle64 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 One thing I would love and I think others to. Is that if you or your follower/spouce get pregnant. Instead of using BFAP that have some issues it self. That if it is your spouse you can get one dialog and perhaps go to some heeler and you get one message that you/your spouse/follower are pregnant. For you that dont know so should you remove this file from BFAP. ski_playerloadgamealias That file is already already provided by Skyui and should not be there.

Any good compatible mods out that grow the baby item into a child? There are none, and its a feature milzschnitte has thought about quite a bit. He doesn't think it to be likely to implement, especially since he plans to work on FO4 once the Creation Kit/G.E.C.K. comes out for it in a few months. His English errors are mainly due to it not being his native tongue, and if I had the time, would love to fix it myself. It does irk me a bit when I see it. (I am almost certain I read this somewhere, so don't take it as completely 'My Idea') I think Item->Actor could be feasible if you are notified after a period of time to place the child down then activate a spell/skill on it to delete the baby sling mesh and spawn an actor using the parent data saved within the item. But this would require a proper mesh to be included again, since last I heard, it doesn't have a .gnd mesh at the moment, making it invisible outside of inventory. That same conversation brought out the info that the baby item actually keeps parent data inside it, so that feature is already there. Though for 'immersion', I think its funny to imagine the scene of a player hearing the 'timer' go off in his/her head, removes the sling and baby, drops it to the floor, then casts some magic on it making it a toddler. Having a good child mod would also be nice for this, which I am patiently awaiting Treguld to complete his work for the RS Children patch.
Uncle64 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 My self use Rcots whit 2.6 and so far, it seems to work. And waiting for Tregulds update for RS. My self have not noticed the spelling errors. Have not looked for them. I tend to ignore some spelling errors. Dont have English as native language. But can it be hard to alter and fix them by using one editor? And post them here after?

My self have not noticed the spelling errors. Have not looked for them. I tend to ignore some spelling errors. Dont have English as native language. But can it be hard to alter and fix them by using one editor? And post them here after? Only issue I had with RCOTS was it didn't work well when I was trying out Cursed Loot. More specifically, the last version that was on here which I still had apparently contained edits to the child flag, and Cursed Loot notified me of them, and shut itself down. Not 100% if its the patch for BF, or the original mod which I had, but regardless, not bothering to try and figure it out further. I know RS Children didn't give me that issue when I switched after that, and honestly never looked back after trying it. For fixing the spelling errors, if he has a alias/translation method, I might be able to scour that and fill in the blanks. I know people make translations of other mods by filling in the $variable information and some other details, but never really looked into the files they generate and hand off to the modder to implement into a translated version. Without that, I think I would need to get into all the text information of the mod itself and edit it, which I also have next to no knowledge/experience with. I'll look into it, unless I hear otherwise of how it's actually done.
milzschnitte Posted December 30, 2015 Author Posted December 30, 2015 Greetings all! Sorry that I was away for some time You know, life... Sorry for the spelling errors. Some of them I can't explain. My english is well enough to spell "replenish" correctly... don't know how this happen. Maybe it's because I was working till 4:00am on this mod and never took a look on the translation again. There are realy many text lines (above 500 lines in the translation file) and I don't have the time to check them. But the replenish one will be fixed The next version won#t have many changes. I will make it more nexus compatible. That meen, the BeeingFemale Title screen will only appear when Sexlab is installed. Otherwise another image will be displayed. This is because I can remove the "Adult" Flag on nexus. I think I will remove the "Install progress" display, too. I made it to find some bugs when BeeingFemale will be init. For everyone who will search for the Fallout 4 version of BeeingFemale, I will open a thread soon, in the "Non Adult" Forum. Alpha and Omega won't be an adult mod, so keep an eye there, too But this is still a topic from far far away. I've tried to start developing Alpha and Omega, but whenever I start to do something, I need to stop again because I need the Creation Kit, or I need F4SE, or a better Menu (something like SkiUI).... right now it's not possible to create individual HUD items and the only option to make a "Show my female stats" is making a Holotape. In this I could include some configuration panels, too.
Uncle64 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 So the text is in the file BeeingFemale_ENGLISH in the folder ?:\games\Mod Organizer\mods\BeeingFemale 2 6\Interface\translations? It cant be that hard to correct that. I will give it one shot.
milzschnitte Posted December 30, 2015 Author Posted December 30, 2015 It's in "...\Skyrim\Data\Interface\translations\" Don't know how Mod Organisator handles the files, but it should be the same, except that Skyrim won't display the changes until the translation file was copied into the data folder. I just made the non-adult Title Screen. Is it ok? I've used the woman I've made for the BeeingFemale Books
excidium93 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 Great screen!! Seems like you knocked up cortana^^
ChipyChops Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 The image looks great. You like putting a lot of effort into your work and it shows.
metallicafan33 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 is it safe to update on a save i'm playing on?
milzschnitte Posted December 30, 2015 Author Posted December 30, 2015 Well, don't update right now. On LoversLab there is only the 2.5 version because of the roll back and I haven't uploaded the latest version right now. The latest version still can be found on Nexus. The plan was to upload the next version here soon, but I didn't know that it will take so long and that I will have that less time. But when you've only the version 2.4 (released on 1st march 2015 all I know) then you can and should update
metallicafan33 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 I still have a very old version. about 1.14 or something. I've just picked up Skyrim again and I was wondering if it was possible

It keeps Skyrim folders clean. MO creates one temp skyrim blupp. Did one fast check on the file, but I need to install one spellcheck in my openoffice that supports UK/US english. Did forget to save that when I reinstalled my PC. Oh and one nice picture there
