Hitman69
I'm using Google Chrome at the moment' date=' and I enjoy it's performance [/quote'] Chrome FTW! Anyhow, I also use Firefox, but only when chrome plays up. Link to comment
Hitman69
Opera' date=' it doesn't play up. [/quote'] Playing up is kinda the wrong term with chrome. I meant it more in the way of not recognising plugins (although when you install them with firefox installed, chrome can open them ) On some sites (really, only a few) it doesn't recognise the login boxes as such, and denies to save login info. ??? Shizune
Opera, for the greatest win. Many useful options, very handy. Link to comment
Mordyn
Firefox, I have a lot of addons, and thus I use it since a long time ago... Link to comment
Hitman69
Anything that is not IE really. ^This pretty much sums it up for most people. ;D I actually went as far as blocking IE with my firewall, which, ironically is the standard windows-firewall. You'd think they'd have some line of code which prevents that. Link to comment

blueflame451
Only use Internet Exploder for those sites that are written to work with nothing else. Used to use Firefox but it was a big resource hog and could get really bloated, being use Chrome for awhile now... really like it. I want my browser quick and not taking up resources. jkryan
Opera for me, since 2001, v.6.0. Chrome is fast, but limited. FireFox feels somehow clunky for me, and requires a buttload of plugins to do anything useful. Plus editing the UI is way more limited/harder than in Opera. And neither of them can handle the load of three windows with 30 tabs each anywhere near as fluently as Opera. Link to comment
Symon
If a site only works with IE, I generally decide I don't want to visit it that badly. (grin). Link to comment

Guest strike105x
Firefox, addons aside which are a nice feature it does everything i need, also i like tab ordering a lot and the fact that you have the right click menu option: "View Image" makes image hunting a lot better. Link to comment
jkryan
So what you're saying is that IE is the bottom bitch, Firefox doesn't mind being in the middle of a sandwich, Chrome is the alpha gay, and Safari and Opera are quite content minding their own business? I think I'll stick with Opera, thank you very much. Link to comment
OmegaZero
I just switched over to Google Chrome, thing is that Firefox was picky lately, and sometimes annoyed me with a thing or two, Firefox once in while didn't displayed a page properly and i had to open it in IE, and well... i tend to have open a few tabs while browsing (40-60), in which Firefox sometimes became or behaved in a weird way... Add-on just weren't my thing, all i had was AdBlock a Aero theme and a Download Manager plugin, that's all. So now i'm checking out Chrome which i've heard is not only faster, but it is more gentle with your system resources and has better compatibility than Firefox despite it's time on the playground. Plus Chrome now has AdBlock Plus as well =D PS. People saying IE9 doesn't work for anything it's either ignorant and naive or just an affirmed hater. Link to comment
ViralParadox
Been a fan of Firefox for a several years now after discovering it. Don't know much about any others besides Chrome, IE, and Safari. I don't really bother using Chrome since I never saw a difference in anything besides appearance. IE was my original go-to until I found Firefox, then not using it became the same reason as Chrome. When Firefox isn't available it's a coin toss between IE and Chrome. Safari is all I had access to when I worked on Macs, but it worked wonderfully and probably the one I'd use mainly if I worked on Macs again. Link to comment
Leo77
I'm a Firefox user for several years already and it's the best working browser from my experience. Tested out IE, Opera and Chrome but still find firefox the best. Some of the addons are pretty usefull (i can't even start to describe how much better it is to look through sites without being attacked from all sides by ads and scams thanks to adblock). And about Chrome- it might be better, but i don't like google. I think it's more than enough that they're already stealing my personal info through their cookies, "toolbars" and similiar sh*t that i already have installed on my PC without my awareness. NightShade
Google Chrome for me. once i started using Chrome every time i open other browsers all i can think of is "damn u browser y u so crowded and slow?!". i do use mozilla sometimes though. updates on mozilla and IE seems to be following GC's footsteps though with all the personas and less tools and toolbars Link to comment
HentaiGnome
Google Chrome (for both Mac and PC). Opera is a close second. I just switched over to Google Chrome' date=' thing is that Firefox was picky lately, and sometimes annoyed me with a thing or two, Firefox once in while didn't displayed a page properly and i had to open it in IE, and well... i tend to have open a few tabs while browsing (40-60), in which Firefox sometimes became or behaved in a weird way... Symon
Interestingly enough, at work I've long used them all. Firefox, IE, Chrome, Opera and Safari. (All on the same machine). The hazards of having to diagnose why the internet is broken (read, why the website the important person is trying to use doesn't work with Browser X, behind an estate of proxies, because the web-designer was clueless, doesn't trust X-forwarded-for headers and has watched too many bad TV shows about the significance of the connecting IP address!!!.) Firefox is the technicians winner by far. I couldn't live without the technical diag plugins, and the other browsers plugins just don't cut it (yet anyway). For the Home User? Use anything you are comfortable with except IE. It's junk. Maybe IE 15 will be better. If I had £10 for every website that works perfectly with any web browser EXCEPT IE, I could retire.
