HentaiGnome Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 I found myself falling back to IE today. The latest Google Chrome update derped my ability to use RealPlayer's Video Download add-on and so now I have to wait for an updated version of RealPlayer, which who knows when that will be. Furthermore, ever since I upgraded to an SSD I've noticed that Chrome tends to hang up on random intervals. Not always, but often enough for me to call it quits. I'm not a power-user when it comes to web surfing unlike other people so I have no real need to use Firefox again since its greatest strength is in its extensions. Besides, ever since version 3 onwards I've had nothing but bad experiences with it, such as slowdowns, crashes, and (ironically enough) one event in which I actually got a virus. I could use Opera but, again, it uses a different web rendering engine and unfortunately certain CSS elements don't appear correctly with it. Hopefully in a month everything will be fixed and I can go back to Chrome.
Jerbsinator Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Firefox is the best browser by far. IMO anyway...lol
d2vis Posted September 21, 2011 Author Posted September 21, 2011 Anyone know of a great video ad blocker for chrome? ABP doesn't seem to work anymore for me :|
Digital Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I was a huge Firefox fan, but switched to Chrome not too long ago, and I'm pretty happy with it.
