To quote Doc from about four posts above yours, The second one needs a day and a half to pass and a change in location. The idea is that the DB would get on with her life, go clear a dungeon or something and come back to the city to find that the world had moved on her absence. I'm not sure if anyone ever plays like that, but that was the idea.

Weird that you're stuck on the cart, stuff breaking there was happening in the last version. But to be honest there's maybe 5 minutes of content after the cart scene and you can't continue from it to normal gameplay, you're basically at the end.

Yea after some console command play I got the cart to start.... now when I get into the compound, they close the door says something to me... opens a dialog which gives me ... or mmph! choices and neither one do anything. and Im stuck standing there. if thats the end I'm sad was really looking forward to how it would go... Hope there are updates soon :/

The initial quest you get in Solitude to start the first run across Skyrim, not the part 2 with the cart. I had run it up to the cart in the 3.0 version but hit the cart ctd everyone else was getting. Before, when I installed 3.0 all I had to do was fast travel to a town or village and the courier showed up right away. This time, I bounced around to a bunch of towns and waited. Nothing happens. Addition: Okay, this is strange. I realized I was also getting a strange bug around that time where I couldn't select items with the triggers (I use an xbox360 controller) in the favorites menu. So I closed everything out and restarted, letting QAYL install again. This time, all was well in the favorites menu, and the courier showed up after I fast traveled to Whiterun. I have no idea if these two are connected but I thought I'd let you know.

I think this is the part that needs the blur fix patch people are talking about. MO is basically telling me I need to do a manual install (I get the "bad install" warning on the blur hotfix, I'm guessing that means do it manually). Where in the QAYL mod directory do i drop the blur patch files? Where the main esm is?Otherwise, it's running a lot smoother, just a few issues;1: You may want to do a hard setting for sexlab animation choices (unless you already did and they aren't on for me?). I'm getting some animations during the crowd search scene that aren't in keeping with the dialogue so they're not appropriate to what's going on (like BJ scenes, etc). I also got some weird position flipping in the beginning of the very first scene after the key is given over and the first sexlab animation starts. Basically, it's like the animation scripting for the characters scene is fighting between two different command sets that are telling them to face in conflicting directions, so what happens is one character is facing off at a right angle and he/ she keeps swiveling back to another set position. I'm guessing you've got some scripting connected to telling the character & the npc to perform directly on a spot while facing a specific direction (unless this is a weird conflict in my setup that's causing some sort of delay). The weird positioning conflict stops at about stage 3 of the sexlab animation sequence. Could that be a time out function in your scripting that's stopping a command 10 seconds or so late so it interferes with the sexlabs animation sequence? 2: After the red blur kicks in, the sexlabs animation is doing a lot of stuttering. The mod is coming along nicely, btw. Good work.P.S. I know this was mentioned some time ago, but could you please, please change the color of the note on the road at the beginning? I've taken to counting how many paving stones up it is from my starting position so I can find it. It's really just that hard to see for some of us.

I just zipped them up. You can unpack them into the mods scripts folder or create a scripts folder when you install and move them into that. The cart scene animations are a bit shaky. Not surprisingly, no one has made any strip or cavity search animations, and since my talents don't currently extend to animation I'm forced to Frankenstein existing animations to try and get the effect. The problem is that they quite frequently want to turn around. Nothing much I can about this until I either take some time to learn how to hack animations in Blender, or else someone makes me some custom animations. The blur that the hotfix fixes, incidentally, is the one when you wake up after talking to Cursus. Because if the way I wrote it, it never cleared up for some people. The red one you're stuck with, at least until you've seen Cursus again, although it should fade in intensity a bit. Currently, I'd recommend removing it with rimodcf once you've reached the end of the action - assuming you're not just going to reload from before the cart scene. *** General update: yesterday trashed by RL. Still can't quite get this other project out of my head at the moment. Although that might happen pretty soon if I can't get pas a couple of stupid coding problems.

It's a little thing, but I hope to pick up on in later stages.

Then I don't need to worry about that hotfix. There is an animation in one of the Captured Dreams quest lines that would do the trick. You might want to ask the mod author if you can use it. I don't have it installed, but I tried it at one point and from what I recall, there's an "Assist a Customer" mini quest where the character turns around, bends over and allows the customer to probe them (it ends with a device equip). From what I recall, the "Forbidden Tome Quest" from devious expansion also uses a variation of that animation where the character is hanging from a chain. The animations are not part of the sexlabs animation pack and are not editable in the sexlabs animation editor MCM section.

Well he's not ... unappreciative of some of the sights involved, let's say. But I hadn't intended him to revel in her distress or anything like that. Yeah, I definitely did not get the impression that Bjorlam was not a rapist. But that's why he keeps encouraging the player to go do something else. I mean he's been paid already. He is a bit of a smart-arse in places, certainly. But that's generally either when the player's threatening him, or when he's just been asked the same question for the third or fourth time. He's not so much abusive there as he is fed up of dogged player persistence. And yeah, I don't think he's daft, but he's not the sharpest tool in the box, either. Because it starts out that way and sometimes I can hit the joystick to revert to 3rd person view, and sometimes I can't.I tried the patch to speak to the fellow after Bjorlam leaves, but now instead of the gag dialogue, I'm getting what I think are the sexlab dialogue options (which I believe is a hard requirement for SD+). What's weird is I even tried deactivating the sexlab dialogues option and it's still happening. Is there some sort of conflict between SD+ & your mod? I think I saw someone mention this issue earlier in the thread. I don't know if this is supposed to be the case, but the sound effect from the daedric tattoo activation is still playing along with the red screen effect at that point at the gate. If I do a reload of a save after it activates, the sound effect is gone but the red screen effect is still there.Thought I'd mention that.One small thing too; Bjorlam says "We don't TEAT a woman that way" instead of "we don't TREAT a woman that way". Then again, it's a long time since I wrote that scene and I've not tested it against SD+ recently. I'm sorry if someone already had the problem and if you already answered, if it's the case I didn't find it. Can you help me please?

MilkModSD32+ SLDialoguesOnce they were all gone, I get;"right, now that the mouth breather is gone, let's get started". And then nothing happens. I put SD32 on again with SLDialogues and it goes back to giving me the SD dialogue options. I've got the second patch on from you as well.I don't mind removing all of those as I I don't use them much (except for SLDialogues & SD32, I gather that they're a bit of a framework for a number of other rmods).Any thoughts on how to proceed?

I uninstalled it, did a fresh install, and then ran tesedit, loot & FNIS to make sure everything was in proper working order. You probably only need to do the fresh install though. I did just get that issue with the recent version but it was because I was messing around with the QUAYL tats folder (I was curious since I always seem to get the same ones, so I wanted to see if I could force certain tats to be picked by removing others). It seems that the tats are not randomly picked, so if something goes wrong with the tattoo installation, or the tattoo picking option, you can get a hang up in that black screen. Doc, it seems that only about half of the tattoo options available are set up to be chosen when you start the quest. Is that deliberate?

There's probably a flag somewhere to disable that. In the meantime, if you can live without those, you might as well turn them off for the duration of the scene.
