Leiknir Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I seem to have found a bug for at least my game, when I bring the bard to the mansion Thaena says talk to me later yet after I wait 24 hours or more she still doesn't have the next part of the quest line. Scrap that, I just had to wait about five minutes for the bard to stop singing and then Thaena started talking.

jxm Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 So I had some time checking it out and, well, I kinda like the way it evolved. MAybe a bit too many meta-references in the beginning, though the little stab at the whole location-issue of the mansion in the beginning of the mod indeed made me chuckle. I also like it that the beginning is now a bit more streamlined, and not too much running back and forth. I miss the two orcs though ^^ The companion-party has become awesome. I like it that everyone is naked now the whole time. And that its a bit "more" now than just the wolves. Not very important but maybe when everything else is said and done: Is it possible for the NPCs to have some sex as well, without the PC participating? And maybe have some of the wank while the competition is running, but again, importance is near zero ^^ One thing I could somehow never trigger is the Hod-Dog (?!) Quest in Riverwood. I get the dialogue, but just like in previous versions I never get a quest-update, or any Quest for that matter. Never since the Quest was introduced in previous versions ... Also the Falmer ... everything works fine, Falmer and Chaurus are all there, I drink the potion, visit their cave but ... nothing seems to trigger? I have a marker above one Falmer, but none of them are doing anything? Anyone else has this (It surely is on my end because I never bother using clean saves and the like, I just kinda plunge in and hope for the best though probably no bug, just curious though what I SHOULD expect in the cave?) The bear-quest also is much better now, as the involved person makes a lot of sense. Aquiring a dog is also nice, and that you can now repeat that stuff also is fun. With Jala, I like it that she now will be more than just serving drinks ^^ Also worked quite well with her, though it would be nicer of course if it would need a bit more effort to make her a showgirl. Maybe a little private training session? Thaena, Jala, and the PC, a little female loving, Bailey etc, could make for some nice content.
domjest Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 ok, i gave up at page 34 starting form 1 (sorry) has there been a solution to the faulty quest marker? after i got the bear, i started a private show quest. quest marker sent me to the companion hall and back out, outside, it points to the door back in. and so on. is this a know problem? is there a solution? can i somehow cancel that quest to restart it? the place animals option in mcm didn'T help this time. it helped me at the end of the horse quest [Edit] Solved. the quest marker just needs to be ignored. got into the cellar and moved into the right room and the marker updated Next problem: quest for the mage. after the giant, i get a quest marker back to Phinis, but no dialoge option to continue
Sorinade Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Thank you, the start to the mod seems much better with some of the running back and forth removed and the locations edited. Only part way in, as my char started in the dawnguard had to teleport to the mansion and hasn't been anywhere else yet so no fast travel. I seem to have lost Bailey though after the Jarl. The scene with the Jarl played out perfectly for me - but Bailey got stuck in a wall so didn't leave with my PC. I went back in, he unstuck but second time he also didn't leave the building. I've been to the mansion, handed it in. Tried a summon followers spell to no affect, the MCM reset animals option, and puppet mod but Bailey is still in the Jarls place. Couldn't get him to budge. edited - after trying more ways to move the Dog.

It would be kind of cool to have animal mansion remember who your "clients" were. It would be more immersive if instead of saying on consecutive visits from the same client "Hi, I'm [insert name here].....", alternately you could say something like "back again? what can i do for you today" Then after a several visits from same client maybe a comment along the lines of "I can't get rid of you huh, same as usual?" Oh... And In case I never said it... Good job on the mod, I love it.

Did you install 0.5c version on a fresh game with new character, or did you do on present save with clean save. If you did a clean save, I would suggest you to read troubleshooting section on the first page. If yu didn't do accordingly, I will suggest you to do it. Then, it should fix your problem. I did it twice and works perfectly.

EDIT: Tried using the setstage command, but the game said no stage beyond 0 existed. Part of my problem?

I did it twice and works perfectly. Every time I create a new character with each new version. I had just been reinstalled Skyrim and try again, but tomorrow. Another problem was that customers refused to come after me, in some cases.

If PC go faster, will make customer stand outside because quest move to next stage (talk to customer and have a sex) And the animation will start outside, then animal will leave outside.

I go to whiterun and talk to the guy, who then tells me to go check in solitude. I arrive at katla farm (or whatever its called) and talk to the guy who tells me to go test out the horse. when out of the conversation the quest tracker updates and points me to the middle of the area (between the buildings and the stables) but there is no horse there. there are the two horses in the stables but no horse at the marker. if i try to talk to the 2 stable horses i immediately steal them so clearly neither of them is the target. have i missed something or am i having an issue? this is a fresh install no clean saves or anything. should the horse be present when i first show up at the farm like the guy and 3 dogs were? is there a console command i could use to pull the target to me?

Maybe you do, but didn't list it. Did you run FNIS and LOOT afterwards? Anyhow, this might help you and may not, but it helped me. Although you have all of requirements, I would suggest you to open SL MCM menu and press "Rebuild/clean" option. After when it's done and you got a confirmation, you open it again and press "reset animation registry". Then save your game in the new slot and exit. When open the game again, do the needy tweaking such as: "Enable creation animations", disable "restrict aggressive animations" and other things you prefer. If this is not helping, there is certainly some mod that is blocking this mod. In that case, maybe you could upload your mods list.

There are two horses on Katla's farm, plus the one added by the mod. I do not know why that horse isn't showing since I tried this quest in all previous versions and the new one too, and the horse always showed up. Something is blocking the mod. Maybe you can try console command "pcb" - This command clears all cache that is currently loaded. Then go to the Solitude, and return back to katla's farm. Note - this might help and may not.

Believe me, it helped me when stacked in the same problem. When do that, save your game in he new slot and redo all necessary tweaking.

After animation, blackout and quest completion. There are non dialogue options to start dog quest, MCM menu says it's on stage one but nothing happens. I'm using a new game save. Is this common?

However I seem to have to talk to her twice each time as the quest doesn't update, maybe i'm talking to the Jarl before the quest updates in the log - causing the log to quest to not update. Talking to the steward again allows progression, the text we've already discussed is greyed out but still there.

This has pretty much been an experimental game so far anyway, and I'll probably be completely restarting it today (deleting all the save files and starting over with a New Game.) Budroi Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 ok so I have completely clean saved reinstalled following the directions on main post and I still cvant get the horse to show up in katla's farm. i even tried leaving it at the bottom of my load order. also tried to just player.placeatme any horse added by this mod and they dont work for activation either. With it at the bottom of my load order it should not be a conflict as it should be the last thing adding data to that exact spot.
yolobomber Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 i found a bug in this mod which is disturbing : i did the quest with the companion party, so i got a wolf, got it to theana, later i accepted to do a private show, thw guest wanted to have me fck a wolf. that moemnt i relaised the waypointer is at the door to the outside, i wlaked outside and saw the waypoint is leading to jorvaskker, i guess it wants that i fck another wolf then the one i obtained, also tried to just go to the wolf in the basement, but that one doesnt give the messagebox. i also tried the mcm debug to reset the place of the animals but that doenst help as i got the wrong wolf( i got the grey one and i suppose you need the brown one like in v 0.4b .) futher nice work as exept the horse quest i think the quests did improve and made fun to play again.
