lol it kinda looked like a werewolf with human arms and legs,...creeped me out, I sold it at the pawned prawn for 80 gold, Ive got a f12 shot on my pc at home I will upload it later when I get home.

Okay, I'm somewhat at a loss as to what to do with this new version. Thaena is there but just acts like an innkeeper. Do I need to do something before going to the mansion?

Xalynne, I didn't need to do anything before going to the mansion (apart from doing all the installs of course), I just talked to Thaena, and she asked for my help in finding out why her permission to open the Inn seems to have been revoked.  I than just followed that story thread and caught her 'entertaining' her pet which lead to the reveal of the purpose of the Mansion and things escalated from there. - Have you tried every conversation option when you speak with her? (I believe there are is an option to not help her which ends the mod).

 

Everyone else - I think I may have a little problem, have done all the animal quests, and every private show, party, compitition, training, etc etc, apart from one

Never had that either. I thought it might be Sofia being .... Sofia. x)

She kinda has her own head when it comes to followers.

Plus as I said earlier my "client wants to participate quest" broke.

Maybe some kind of "reset all my quests"-option would be useful. So we can reinitiate those quests if they for whatever reason break. Maybe as an MCM option or a ... dunno, diary we can read and track how much we quested and then "wipe" it to reinit the quests or something like that.

But that's a suggestion of someone without mod knowledge. So no idea if something like taht is even possible.

Hm, to which one did you talk to? Not sure if its just random, but it seemed to happen to me only with the lower guy, while when bargaining with the guy closer to the Mansion it worked just fine? But maybe it just happens now and then regardless

 

Something else: Did anyone ever got a Questupdate etc for the Family-Dog? It pops up now and then as a Quest by Thaena, but after agreeing nothing ever happens? Or am I missing something?

I've completed the horse quest.... I give this 5 star! It's just not fucking critters.
The story and the dialogue are just spot on. It was not easy but you manage to stroke right balance between debauchery, degradation and , comedy is just right. 

 

Only one request, oh great Sky_mds. Please make so that the next update will not need a clean save!
The starting questline is already in place... Maybe you can start just adding stuff without the need to restart the mod questline everytime.

No update I know of, but the thing is: I never get this one triggered as a quest. Thaena propses it when asking her about requests, but thats it, nothing happens or updates or quest-markers after I accept...everything else works fine though, just this one gives me headaches, especially because it not seems confirmed to be a problem on my end...hmm...I'll just keep experimenting I guess

Check if you can start this quest by console. setstage xx028975 10 it should work even if you did not talk to thaena yet, ever.

If not check if Hod is alive in your game - for example it is possible for a dragon to attack Riverwood. During such attack Alvor died on one of my saves.

If he is, then i guess try this on new game.

Lol.  Yep, that part of the quest didn't work for me both times I tried it.  We made an agreement and they just walked away.  Not sure why, but I was able to progress with the quest so I didn't pay it much mind.

 

 

I had this as well, out of curiousity how did you approach the mansion? since if your cutting through the graveyard it could be we aren't using the correct path for them to trigger

I've not noticed that appearing on horses outside the mansion but i'm not sure whether it should or only when your entertaining a customer and they want the horse outfront (thats the only time i've seen it on the horse outside the mansion).

Im talking about every horse introduced through this mod. From the Bareback Riding quest where you first obtain the horse for the mansion, to the one outside the mansion with a customer. =(

Triggering scenes by any other mod wont progress any of mansion quests. Because quest objectives are based on dialogue options not scenes.

 

If you get stuck at unavailable dialogue options then only way to progress further is setstage.

I use both fast travel and running from nearby, like Falkreath.  I'm going to attempt what was posted earlier by speaking to the thug closest to the mansion.  It's never stopped the quest from continuing, so I'm not too worried. 

 

Everything seems to work really well.  Only once, a quest to handle a client and a charuus that would never end, was an issue.  If that happens again I'll look for the setstage fix. 

 

It really is awesome how much has changed from the start of this mod to now.  It's fun.  Most of the issues I see posted can easily be resolved with mod order I think.  It's amazing how much it does make a difference.

I've just got a few things...

1. The "competition" quest is MUCH more stable now, I don't actually have to save and reload several times between wolves. There is one minor issue though, doesn't break anything at all... the quest updates normally, and completes normally, but the journal doesn't tick the various stages as completed. See screenshot:

2. Same thing went for private show (the one with the draugr) - the quest completed normally but did not have the last stage ticked as complete. Also, the client (name starts with Z, can't remember it) sticks around in the mansion basement.

 

3. The private show (client gets in on the action)... how many times does the client get in on the action? Temba took me downstairs to the chaurus (I was actually expecting the bear - ) and she just keeps asking for another round. I quit (exit and reload) after number eight (two me and six her)... is this a bug or am I just impatient?

EDIT: I tried "getstage na_ps_standard" and it's showing stage 240 and never advancing...?

 

4. I've had this before, but it's a sad one this time... Bailey stayed in the Dead Man's Drink inn, only when Valdr got back from moss mother cavern he killed the dog.   Thaena never noticed him missing.

I've got the same problem with #4, I've already help Valdr, so as soon as I enter the Dead mans drink Valdr attacks and kills Bailey. The scene starts but it looks rather wierd with Bailey being dead

Hey Sky_mds, instead of giving most of the visiting females in the mansion those weird hats instead of hair, you should just use apachii hair styles. Most of the mods that do add locations tend to use it and its among the highest downloaded hair mods on the nexus so most people already have it.

A lot of people here protest the use of Apachii as a requirement for a mod, because not everyone has a machine capable of using the mod.  As it stands, Apachii has already been implemented in this mod once before, and the author was convinced to remove its usage because of those protests.
