I am having a crash in the main quest after recruiting the barmaid and bard where when I go to get the dog it tries to start the animation, there is a short delay, and my clothes are removed but then it just crashes.

I've completed the intro quest "There's no business like..." and it mostly seemed to run fine up until that point. I did see a few issues such as the thugs running off instead of having sex if that dialogue option was selected, and Bailey never seems to return to the manor after his part of the quest.

 

Anyway, after competing the quest she (the inn keeper) states I should speak to her if I'm looking for work, but when I do so she only has the default blurb options, am I missing something?

 

This. Anyone else encounter this issue? Any fixes?

The same issue cropped up my current game, so I did a bit of digging.

 

What is supposed to happen is that quest XX003358 ( where XX is your load order no.) is started and the stage is set to 1.  When I tried doing this manually (by start quest XX003358, followed by setstage XX003358 1 ) it didn't work.

 

When a quest refuses to start, it's normally due to one of the npc's involved with the quest being dead.  You can get a list of required npcs from the stagequestvars console command (sqv XX003358).  In this case the following 4 npcs need to be alive:

 

Thaena

Bailey (the dog)

paarthurnax

"spider2"

 

Theena is obviously alive if we are trying to talk to her, and I haven't got a clue what "spider2" is, so lets ignore them.  That leaves Bailey and paarthurnax as the culprits.

 

Paarthurnax is still alive in my game.  I'm not sure about this, but if you killed him off during the main quest I'm guessing you won't be able to go any further with this mod.

 

If the problem is with Bailey, then do the following commands at the console (btw pro tip: to get a list of all npc refid's type 'save funclist 1' at the console):

 

prid XX0041c6

moveto player

resurrect

startquest XX003358

setstage XX003358 1

 

... and now she's talking properly. 

 

BTW sky-mss, would it be possible to set Bailey as an essential npc?  That would probably fix this bug for the majority of cases.

Took anoher look at the esp in tesvedit.  Paarthurnax is set to optional, my bad.  So its only Bailey that breaks this quest.

Great mod, Love it.. Just Love it.

 

Small issue though with one of the side quests that sends you to "Entertain a Jarl". The quest sent me to Ulfric Stormcloak and I had to go through his dialog to start the "Show" but I may also have inadverntantly joind the Stormcloaks because I had not talked to Tulius ot started the "Civil War" questline yet.

Now the quest and all that was supose to happen worked just fine.

 

My problem was that to do the quest I had to join the Sotormcloaks. (Gag)*

Maybe in newer versions you can exclude at verry least Ulfric and possably some of the other "Main Side quest" persons of intrest untill their questlines are done or altogeather.

 

Again Love this Mod. One of the best out there.

 

*Refering to the "Gag" above: I have never and will never join the Stormcloaks (of free will) because I see Ulfric as a compleate raceist** in my own opinion only.

**If others like Ulfric more power to them, but that is their opinion.

Yea I hate either side of the war,  Cowards vs Racists.  Wish they went further in that story if you were a non-nord just to make their opinions change(and those of npc's around) but that's the one thing that lacks in Skyrim.  That or just an option to make skyrim neutral but then the next ES game couldn't refer to the Great Civil War in Skyrim(not who won but just in general that it happened which it wouldn't if the 3rd option was to stop the civil war entirely).

From what I have seen after the Companions Party in the main line it becomes an additional job request. So you can ask if there is a party any time soon, at any time.

Hello,

congratulations this mod is awesome !

 

 

I have recruited the dog, the horse and the bear for the main storyline.
I have tested the 2 spiders at the same time, the sabrecat.
All animations are working great, with genitals.

Party Companions ->tested without problem - the dog i ve chosen was the one in front of me, easy to figure out since there is a marker on the floor telling you where to place your character.

Private Show Variation 3&4/Training Session/Good Boy!/Pleasing Paarthurnax/The Jarl's request/Party ->not tested

Horse Sale ->tested during the main quest to get the horse, but not as secondary quest.

Private Show/Private Show Variation 1&2 ->tested too without problem

 

 

I only had few problems :

 

The first :

i cant complete the mens night quest after having sex with 3 of them, nothing happen.

=>I got this bug too during "Party Variation 1" - may be i don't have 4 men because the 4th is dead or busy elsewhere ?

 

The second :

Playing through the first quest and I can't get Bailey to follow me into the damn Inn.  He follows me to the Inn door but does not come through.

I had the problem too, to solve it i had to enter the inn without Bailey and do the show alone. But it worked without CTD.

Note : even if i was outside the Inn, opened the console, clicked on the dog, closed the console, entered the Inn and opened the console again to type "moveto player" without the quotes, Bailey still didn't came inside the inn.

 

The last :

During the main storyline, after entering the bear cave to get the bear.

I failed to kill the bandits before they "killed" the bear,

so i was unable to speak to the bear in order to heal it. Solution : as described

Bear Bug:
During the Bear Quest there is a bug where you can't start having sex with the bear. Same problem as with the troll. I also added a trigger in the cave near the entrance to the bigger room. The trigger disables and enables the bear which seems to help. Just walk out of the bigger room a bit and then try again.

i had to save, load, get out of the cave, enter, save, load and then i was able to speak to the bear.

I've got a glitch, im on the quest where you need to find a horse for the mansion, for some reason I can't talk to the horse, what do i do?

I have the same issue and using mods like beastess mating call to initiate scenes doesnt advance the quest. Anyone know what to do?

I found that extracting the scripts from the BSA file worked as a temporary work around. There is a lot of scripts so not always recommended.

Am I right in assuming that this is a fairly common issue then? And am I better just waiting for an update to the mod itself or does anyone know how to advance the quest using the console?

I am guessing that the main reason for that problem would be load order, or conflicting mods. I had no problems at all up untill the questline abruptly ended but that was the problem that it was unfinished. Have to wait till the mod is compleated to see the rest of the "story" I guess.

Great mod, havent run into any errors except the draugr gangbang but that could be an error on my end. Is anybody else experiencing this as wel?

Furthermore , when can we expect an update ( not to rush you or anything, just wondering ) and keep up the amazing work!

Can we get more information on this, like conflicting mods etc?

I loaded up a earlier save and tried the horse again and my glitch is still there, I'll give extracting the files a go but I have no idea how to do it

If you have some very script heavy mods* if you skip past the text to fast it can fail to add the quest. Best solution to this is to not be to hasty and let it play with out skiping or clicking threw it at all.

Apropos, Frostfall, SexLab Arroused, to name a few.

I'm having trouble with the companions competition.  I get to the point where the 3 girls are lined up but the quest marker is in a completely different part of the building and nothing progresses

If you have some very script heavy mods* if you skip past the text to fast it can fail to add the quest. Best solution to this is to not be to hasty and let it play with out skiping or clicking threw it at all.

Apropos, Frostfall, SexLab Arroused, to name a few.

 

Ok thanks, next time I get onto skyrim I'll try again with more patience. Out of those script heavy mods, I am only running aroused. is there any others I should be aware of?

Many, many, many, more. But to name them all would be well on my part nearly impossible. Yeah it is just that long of a list. Also one other thing I noticed that can cause a "failed quest addition" is if the Whiterun stable master is killed before the quest is added. Like from an early Vampire or Dragon attack. If possible make sure he is still alive early on and use either a mod or the console code "setessential <ID> 1" (no quotes) to make him essential so he can not be killed.

What problem is that? "The Problem" doesn't really help much. Load order and mod lists on a download as well, I am afraid I can't look at. Not to mention they can be a problem in some cases but not all. With out proper explanation of "the problem" I am unable to help at all.
