Hmmm. The new Morthal Idgrod the Younger quest does not seem to work.

I don't see the line pop up. 

I am thane and still nothing.

Are there any requirements for that quest?

 

The Mirabelle quest worked perfectly,

and the Janessa quest was truly amazing. Very well done.

 

Did you download and update to the latest version?

 

Are any of the needed NPCs for the quest dead?

 

Did you kick the Ravencrones out of Morthal in Civil War?

Got asked by the Jarl to fetch the Wabberjack...took a detour and did the Thalmor Embassy part of the main quest (just restarted Skyrim *again*)...and had no idea I could use Jarl Idgrod as my distraction (the half dozen times I've done this scene I've always used the drunk guy you meet outside)-it fit so perfectly into the story! 

 

There is no way I would play Skyrim without having all these Amorous Adventures at least as an option-they really do add depth to the whole experience.

Yes, you can update without losing your quest progress.  See the instructions on the front page.

 

Pretty much all the answers to your basic questions are detailed on the front page: Walkthrus, requirements, updating directions, etc.

 

I mean, that's why the Mod has a very detailed front page.  That's what it's there for. 

Imagine if a thousand people kept asking the same thing over, and over, and over.  That way lies madness I tell you. MADNESS!

I thought Valerica was fairly attractive in the latest Seranaholic release, myself.  She didn't make my Dragonborn want to hide under the bed or anything.

 

The Valerica in Seductress Serana is also decent.

I just finished the Morthal quests last night, well done as usual Fox. Your mod just keeps getting better, thanks for all the hard work you put into it.

Personally, I prefer the Valerica from Seductress Serana over the one from Seranaholic. Partly due to the fact that it changes Serana, Valerica, and Harkon so they look like they're actually related to each other. Of course, it's all preference though.

Just got done with Idgrod's questline.  It was fun.  The jarl seems out of character at first, but at the end it makes more sense.  I'm not familiar with Twin Peaks, but when I was going through it, I was thinking how it reminded me of one of H.P Lovecraft's short stories: The Shadow over Innsmouth.  Oblivion had a quest called Shadow over Hackdirt that referenced it, so the Morthal line is in good company.

 

Specific things:

 

-Idgrod the younger routed herself well to the summoning circle.  When she started out toward it, I groaned because I thought she'd either go at a walk, get lost, or get stuck.  Everything went perfectly.

 

-Wabbajack Wabbajack Wabbajack!  Tying in the questline to what's probably my favorite vanilla quest was great.  Not having to give her the artifact, however useless it is, was also nice.  I thought I'd have to choose between it and boning the young Idgrod.  I would've chosen the girl, except there was no choice at the end.

 

-I tend to forget where the Pale Blade is.  This quest is great for reminding me.

Meh, I'm on the fence.  The last Seranaholic was a real plain Jane but the new one is a vast improvement.  Seductress Serana has always been good, you know, depending on Options chosen.

Firstly, thanks for the feedback about Sapphire. It worked. I don't experience the Sapphire bug btw, she has dialogue. I also use the Thieves Guild as Follower mod, so she actually travels with sometime.

 

Now, I recently (with both Taming of Lydia, and Love and Death in Riften) started to experience repeated CTD during the unclothing phase of the s?x phase. I can't figure out why.

LOOT order seems good, cleaned mods with TES5Edit as needed, SexLab Framework looks ok. I did install the Non-SL Animations pack (based on recommendation on your site about the Kiss animation), but have only the Kiss animation activated.

 

Any ideas why the undress animation would cause repeated CTD?

Will AA work without the SL Framework? (I don't really need the animated porn, mainly play for the great dialogue and Dragon Age style romances)

Does Non-SL Animation pack conflict with SL Framework?

 

For the record:

AA is last in my loadorder, apart from Bijin Wives, Bijin Warmaidens, Seductress Serana (but switching it to dead last did not help either)

There is no Non-Sexlab version of the Mod.  Although your post makes me think that maybe that's something I want to finally provide.  You know, just for people who enjoy the added dialogue and quests.

 

Anyways, if you have SexLab 1.6+ then the kissing animation is included in it.  You can drop the Non-SL Animation pack.

 

The issue is definitely SexLab related since this Mod just throws calls to Sex Lab over the fence to the Framework.  But it would be helpful if you would post a Papyrus Log of the play which involves the crash.  It may help identify the root cause.

Papyrus Log does not generate ANY message at all (?)

 

The issue seems to be tied to the disrobe animation - I tried running it without equiping the nude body model - and it at least sometimes starts the process. As soon as I check the nude body armor, CTD.

Without the nude armor model, CTD seems random. I did check the SL Framework FAQ, and reinstalled SSKE to see if it will improve thinhs, still dunno.

 

I for one would definitely appreciate a non-SL version of this mod. I honestly think it is the BEST immersive mod out there (who in their right mind would marry anyone in Skyrim, when you could be dead the next day.... or hardly know the person), but, "lovers comfort" => for sure. Totally makes sense. Your work highly appreciated (and I compare to Vilja, etc.)

But maybe the sex part could be a minor cutscene (think Bioware Dragon Age stuff), or even just fade to night. I might be in the minority (as a middle aged married guy with kids roaming around my gaming area), but certainly appreciate you even considering the non-SL version.
