Marcus01 Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I have a minor problem. A notification came up that I had installed Apropos and there is a Apropos MCM menu. However the menu is that of SexLab Describe and there are no subcategories such as Wear and tear, Message Preferences or Developer test as shown in your pictures. EDIT : Just realised that SexLab describe is this mods predecessor, but the blank MCM menu is still a problem. I had this issue also and seemed to have fixed it. I followed Gooser' clean save procedure but before installing the new version of Apropos I looked inside the Mod Configuration Menu this time and it had Apropos listed there, I clicked on Apropos and it was empty. Exiting back to the game and re-entering the MCM menu Apropos was not listed there anymore. Continuing with the procedure I installed Apropos (waited a few minutes) and the menu was now not there at all. At this point exit the menu back to the game, in a few minutes it will say '1 New Menu(s) Installed' or something, at this point you should have all the sub categories in the MCM menu now.

Thanks for confirming that. I see that behavior on a lot of mods btw. I think the process of registering MCM menus is not very performant, or it is done in a way that is low-priority (compared to everything else that is going on in the game at that moment)

The good news is it's working, unlike the previous Description/Apropos mod in which always said "None". No matter what I did I couldn't get that mod to work. So, that's good news indeed The bad news, I'm not sure if it's working entirely. You see, when the scene starts it always just says "[Name] fills my [tight] [pussy] with [cum]" or whatever. And during the orgasm phase, it does the same likewise. But what it isn't saying is anything like "[Name] slides cock into my [tight pussy]" or whatever. It just always says "[whatever] is cumming in [whichever]". Installation seems to check out. From my log, it is detecting the following: [03/04/2014 - 03:26:17PM] Error: Method GetTags not found on sslBaseAnimation. GetTags was added to SexLab some time ago. GetTags was added by Ashal to sslbaseObject.psc Jan 25th. So I think its either in the 1.38, 1.39a or 1.39b release. Not sure. I only tested with the 1.39b release however.

Guest Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 If you look at the W&T Description text file, you'll see these are blank, so it's intentional. It means you don't always get an adjective, although you can write something into the file and save it, then click 'Refresh' in the MCM menu to customise it. You can change the ones that are there, too.

Basically those are W&T values that don't add to the description because they are empty - they represent the "middle", neither virginal nor worn.

But this looks great. Exactly what I have been waiting for. My only question: how do I upgrade/install from the original (pre Apropos/wear and tear) Describe? Clean Save technique. 1. Run Skyrim and load your save. 2. Perform a full save (not quicksave). You can even name saves using the console by typing "save 'upgradingmodx'" 3. Exit Skyrim. 4. Deactivate mod in your mod management tool. 5. Uninstall mod. 6. Make sure all scripts are removed that pertain to mod (e.g. Apropos*.pex and Apropos*.psc) 7. Run Skyim and load your save. 8. After dismissing warning about missing objects wait 4-5 minutes real clock time without doing anything. 9. Perform a full save. 10. Exit Skyrim. 11. Run Skyrim and load your save. 12. Wait 4-5 minutes. Save Game. Gooser, I want to thank you (and foxyvixen) both for a great mod and for your tireless, selfless willingness to help us install and master it. Thanks to the above I was able to do so (I installed between 6 and 7; hope this was right) and so far the mod works well. I was dreading the none bug, but there was none (so to speak). Quite the opposite. I get too many messages! Not complaining as I like almost all of them. There are nevertheless two bugs or glitches you should be aware of: 1) I get orgasm messages even at the start of a foreplay animation. A bit . . . er . . . premature. I also get a whole chorus of messages at the end of an animation. I quite like that, but am pretty sure it is not intended because . . . 2) more alarmingly I get messages for both sexes. I play as a male, so it is good to hear that I am shooting hot ropes or flooding a twat etc. etc., but it is a little disconcerting to be told that I am tasting "spooge" for the first time. That would indeed be a first, but it is my female spouse who is eating the spooge cake. Not but what I am willing to return the favours, but it isn't spooge I eat. Very minor glitches wtih what is proving to be a great mod that lives up to all my expectations. One request (if and when you get time!) It would be wonderful if we could have a tutiorial (or any pointer) as to how we can write our own messages. Hi Grimbold, I did post an updated installer later today on the OP that should fix the premature orgasm messages. Any duplicate non-orgasm messages are related to a bug that I am aware of. Mixed sexes I am unaware, so could you please post your Apropos0.log ?thx

I installed this update with no problems whatsoever (used a clean save, disabled and enabled this new version in MO), and so far it works great! This is a great addition to the SL mod collection.

I have no idea if they generally have an is pregnant notification, but I know Hentai Pregnancy is built to give a "giving birth" message to any mod programmed to look for it, I assume BF would as well but not used it. No idea about SP, since it is an esp.

Penis cross. I have no idea which is most popular. Beeing Female and Hentai Pregnancy are the ones I see mentioned most often. Simple Pregnancy looks good if expanded a little and I am not sure how much it is used. I think Procreation fans mostly use Beeing Female now, but I could be wrong. I thought I read you could integrate the check without forcing Hentai Pregnancy to be the master, because of how it just sent the birthing message for any mods to receive. I could have misunderstood however.
