I have a minor problem.

A notification came up that I had installed Apropos and there is a Apropos MCM menu. However the menu is that of SexLab Describe and there are no subcategories such as Wear and tear, Message Preferences or Developer test as shown in your pictures.

Sorry to hear that. Did you use the Clean Save technique to completely remove Describe?

EDIT : Just realised that SexLab describe is this mods predecessor, but the blank MCM menu is still a problem.

I never upgraded from the old Describe to Apropos because 1) I mostly use a male player character, and 2) the Apropos before this one seemed to have a lot of issues.

But this looks great. Exactly what I have been waiting for. My only question: how do I upgrade/install from the original (pre Apropos/wear and tear) Describe?

Clean Save technique.

1. Run Skyrim and load your save.

2. Perform a full save (not quicksave). You can even name saves using the console by typing "save 'upgradingmodx'"

3. Exit Skyrim.

4. Deactivate mod in your mod management tool.

5. Uninstall mod.

6. Make sure all scripts are removed that pertain to mod (e.g. Apropos*.pex and Apropos*.psc)

7. Run Skyim and load your save.

8. After dismissing warning about missing objects wait 4-5 minutes real clock time without doing anything.

9. Perform a full save.

10. Exit Skyrim.

11. Run Skyrim and load your save.

12. Wait 4-5 minutes. Save Game.

I have a question about the body part synonyms file. I'd like to remove some, is it safe to do that? If so, would I have to go through the same process that you have outlined in the OP to make custom descriptions?

Yes, removal is fine. Just make sure that if you do that for a saved game that has already been made with this new version, that you go into MCM after you load that save, and click the Refresh button under Message Preferences.

Otherwise, removing and starting a completely new game will work as well.

Hihi! I like the idea of this mod, so I decided to give it a whirl. The good news is it's working, unlike the previous Description/Apropos mod in which always said "None". No matter what I did I couldn't get that mod to work. So, that's good news indeed The bad news, I'm not sure if it's working entirely. You see, when the scene starts it always just says "[Name] fills my [tight] [pussy] with [cum]" or whatever. And during the orgasm phase, it does the same likewise. But what it isn't saying is anything like "[Name] slides cock into my [tight pussy]" or whatever. It just always says "[whatever] is cumming in [whichever]". Installation seems to check out. From my log, it is detecting the following:

At the moment boss is sticking it at the end for me but as the only dependacies i can see listed on wyre bash are sexlab and sexlab aroused I take it anywhere after those would be okay?

You are using an older version of SexLab than supported.

GetTags was added to SexLab some time ago.

There is an update posted today to the installer for Beta 1. You can uninstall / reinstall over the previous one without issues. It fixes an implementation in one method that caused orgasm messages to be created during the AnimationStart event, for MalePC/NPC->Female specifically.
