I don't mind disabling a few things if they don't have a great impact and it doesn't seem like much work, but I can't please everyone. So the spiders stay. If someone wants to make a spider free version, I'll advise on how to do it. Meantime, there are no spiders planned in the first installment other than those the game would have provided anyway.

I agree though, I killing them makes me feel a little bit happier!

[/quote'] it's 'arachnoPHOBIA'. by it's very definition it's irrational, so not fearing spiders in game is understandable. But I do agree that satisfying everyone is not an option. My suggestion is that if you do force the POV during spider scenes, that the view can be returned to 3rd person just by pressing 'f' (or scrolling out). I.E. it's not a permanent camera change, just a toggle.

Princessity Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Hum... just to clear things up a little: I was more concerned about the idea of forced 1st person than spiders! *1st person* is the bad thing spiders just make it worse. I personally cope with arachnophobia by setting virtual spiders on fire (I'm not sure which makes me more twisted n_n) so I'm all fine with them being in game! I just hate the idea of having to watch their many eyed furry legged ickiness up close. It's all.

I don't want to say much more than that about for fear of kicking off the debate again. ****** I've been doing some more coding on this. Still having problems with getting the dialogue to fire. Looks like the problem wasn't using ForceGreet in Scenes at all. Which means it's to do with the way my aliases are being filled, or it's to do with the fact that the greeter is a levelled bandit and they don't like scripts (but should take them on aliases) or maybe just because the script kicks off from a radiant quest. I really hope it's not the levelled issue. If it is, that could make a lot of NPC encounters both unenslaveable and unable to enslave the player. Although there are probably ways around the second one. Oh well. More news as I get it. On the bright side, the IRC channel is turning into quite the little workshop most days, with a lot of progress being made on the modelling and animating front. Feel free to drop in and say "hi"

O_O Yes. Credit goes to fore, and you can find his mod FNIS on nexus, along with a lively discussion of the issues. I've also got a script that allows modders to build behavior files in a more ad-hoc manner. Bluesky is apparently going to be resumed, but Prideslayer has been busy with RL of late and wants to get his Skyrim compatible FOMM fork working before he dives into coding for Skyrim. Meanwhile I can make animations play, but I'm feeling a bit lost in a twistly little maze of animation files all called mt_idle.hkx. I know this is gonna be good once it's done, and like many others, i've got a an idea or two... You know Rannveig's Fast? it's that nord tomb North West of Whiterun ( very northwest) Well during the player's escapade there, they can fall into a trap door which drops them into a cage and jail room run by a breton war lock. And well, if I was a Breton warlock and some nice girl fell into my trap unharmed, well let's just say some real magic gonna happen. This next one is a creature concept and probably falls under that category.. It's basically a large anemone that acts kind of like a trap, it sits flat like a fleshy little pancake ( roughly 4 feet in diameter ) while dormant, and has a single tendril rising from the it's center that has a light on the end of it ( similar to that of deep water fish ). The catch is, once the player bumps into the tendril, it awakens the creature and it springs up about 5 feet and halfway swallows the player. As far as it's instruments of doom go, it has four business tentacles. First two latch on to the nipples of the breasts to suck milk and thus gain nutrients, while at the same time the other two will penetrate the vagina and anus, planting seeds into the host. When the creature has had it's fill and given you all the seeds you can carry, it lets you go ( and you'll no doubt be over burdened - the price of triggering the trap ) The eggs have a gestation period of about 24 hours, after which the player will expel them after hopefully travelling some time to spread the parasites. As far as habitat goes, the anemone usually dwells in wet, dark caves in shallow water. Blackreach comes to mind, and i'm sure there are other caves that have some shallow water.

[/quote'] hehehe *********** I think... I think I finally found the problem with my RQs launching. Part of it was a dirty save. (I could have sworn it was clean ... not that THAT's ever been an excuse) and partly it's been because HasKeyword applied to Actors doesn't pick up keywords applied to their race. Which seems perfectly obvious when put in those terms. I'd assumed there must be some bit of sugar involved to bubble keywords up, but clearly not. Anyway, I now have the topic working in the test cell. It's started by a radiant quest keyword, it affects a hostile, levelled bandit an it works. I can still select by race using GetIsRace to allow different procedures for vampires or falmer, say. And I can test factions too, so guild members could get different procedures from bandits. OK. Enough talk, more work

[/quote'] the links are basically content animated poses for SV team k17 mod version 6.3 for lepricon and giant type creatures sex, and afaik the files can only be used by SV and only used/seen apropriately by k17 6.3 if you cant acess the site lemme know, I'll download the files and share em here, can also ask around if someone still has tk v6.3 (its obsolete now and its sucessor doesnt have big or small enough sliders to use giant/lepricon poses)
