Has anyone attempted an SSE version of this mod or something similar?

 

I'm primarily interested in using gag voice for my vanilla voiced followers when they have the gag equipped instead of listening to them talk as if they were not gagged.

Sorry i just found out you took the time to update this fix. It works perfectly and is NOT redundant. Finally my Slaves shut the fuck up =D

Played around with it, and it does what is advertised. See nothing wrong with this port.

 

The scope of the mod itself is a bit limited, for one, only common voice lines are replaced, and modded dialogue menus are unsupported. That said, you can't exactly expect something as ambitious as that for quite some time. This mod will do, as usually, you're not really talking to certain NPCs you don't care about anyways. Props to the patch which I find no fault in.

Been messing with this and it works pretty good with some minor bugs.

For context, my setup is: Skyrim SE 1.5.97. Relevant dialog mods include: RDO (Relationship Dialog Overhaul), NFF (Nether's Follower Framework), SLEN (SexLab Eager NPCs), More Kats/Argonians of Skyrim

• There is a delay when speaking with followers if they are not gagged. About half a second pause before anything is said. NPCs seem unaffected.
• For Female followers, there is a duplicate "Follow me. I need you help." When talking to them. Choosing the first copy does nothing. The second copy actually recruits them with seemingly no issues. Strangely, Male followers are unaffected.

• The ability to command followers via dialog "I need you to do something" does not work. It just ends the conversation. But the shortcut of holding "Activate" while your crosshair is over them still works
• Some custom follower dialog bypasses the gagSFX when talking to them directly, but works 90% of the time. Works 100% when you are not talking to them directly. Could be related to my custom follower mods but they use the Skyrim's default follower system with no special interactions.
