GodSmack Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016  What exactly am i suppose to name eye extures too? im having the hardest time setting up the torso, horns, and eyes on this?  i used the transform package as a model but i have no luck when it comes to the 3 listed  Edit: i figured out how to do the horns and torso but i still have the issue with the eyes not working when set to transform eyes as well as the skin not changed to the texture in the transform package i made  The transform packages are no longer compatible, because the latest version of PSQ has a different folder structure. Unfortunately, the dummy files don't show you all the possible files so no wonder you're having problems.  You need the BSA Extractor from Nexus. Then open Skyrim-Meshes.bsa and find the eyesfemale.nif file and extract that to data/meshes/psq/SuccubusBody/Female folder. The texture will need to go into the data/textures/psq/SuccubusBody/Female and be named PSQSuccubusEye.dds. If not specified, the stock eyes will use the quite nice brown texture (I actually use that one, altered by Eyes of Beauty, they're really beautiful).   i see that makes sense when i transformed there were no eyes, i only assumed the textures was at fault.  but what about the skin texture does PSQ not change that? and if it does where do i place the files i want to use?

Just search for it by PSQ Transformation Package, and make sure its for the version of PSQ you are using (2.0+ vs 3.0+) as they use different file arrangements. Ideally, you might want to look into these packages and get an understanding of how they are set up, so you can tweak them by swapping out meshes of your own choosing. I'm sure not everyone will want their form/armor to use a UUNP body when everything else in their game is for CBBE, or vice versa. Just remember that when swapping out meshes, the textures stay with the mod they are from, they do not go into the PSQ folders at all.  Lets say that you wanted to add a particular armor to your transformation package. Its a standard slot 32 chestpiece armor using the same base body as everything else you wear. You can copy/rename the meshes from that mod into the PSQ succubus armor folder, but the textures will stay where they are. If using Mod Organizer, the mod will stay active on the left side, but you can deactivate the .esp from it on the right side. This means that the assets (in this case, the textures you didn't copy) will load with the game, but without the .esp, the actual armor pieces wont show up in the game through whatever means the original mod intended. But, when you transform and have the chestpiece armor selected to change with you, it will load the mesh you put into the PSQ folder, which points to the texture from the mod you loaded without activating its .esp file. There are some downsides to this trick, but if you aren't running HD textures on basically everything till your computer melts, the extra memory usage of preloading unused assets shouldn't be a big deal.  TL:DR - The texture structure of PSQ doesn't matter unless you are actually modifying the meshes to look for their textures elsewhere (which can be done using nifskope). Wherever the textures are normally for the meshes is where they need to be, not in the PSQ textures folders. So for your body texture question, it will use the default texture path that all bodies use (data/textures/actors/character/female), unless you made/modified the body mesh to look elsewhere.  Now, the advantage of this knowledge means that you can create a unique body for your succubus for if you wanted to. The procedure I would recommend would be to download/create your body meshes via bodyslide as normal. Move both the _0 and _1 bodies into the proper place for PSQ. Place whatever texture you planned to use into the texture folders of PSQ. Use Nifskope to open both the _0 and _1 body meshes you moved earlier and see where the default texture paths are. My bodyslide files has this under "NiNode -> NiTriShape -> BSLightingShaderProperty -> BSShaderTextureSet" with 3 .dds files referenced (femalebody_1.dds, femalebody_1_msn.dds, and femalebody_1_sk.dds). Alter those paths and files to the ones you moved to the PSQ textures folder, and now your succubus form will use that specific body, with those specific textures.  The downside to having this set up though will be if you change out your original body, or change the bodyslide sliders for your preferred body/armors, the one in PSQ will not change at all. Meaning unless you want your succubus form to be absolutely unique and never wear the same armor as your original body, you would need to redo this whole set-up again to make them match. But if that was your goal all along, then congrats! You can also do this to all of your armor pieces, your feet and hands, and any other bodyparts modified by PSQ so they are all unique from the games defaults. If modifying the body textures like this, make sure to follow through with the hands and feet too, or at least make sure you don't leave the dummy files of these in the PSQ meshes folder, since you would otherwise have none when you transform (unless you already have gloves/boots properly installed/never removed while in succubus form).  Some of what I stated here is theory for me, as I haven't needed to modify texture paths for my PSQ form. I only modified the textures themselves as I saw fit, since I don't use the body transformation option and all the other meshes I was using were already unique and only used by my succubus form. So do take my procedure here with a grain of salt, and some research of your own of course.

nb097 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 (edited) I had a wonderful post set up... oh well.  There is actually a working transform package for the current version of PSQ. His pathing is what PSQ looks for in the scripts/esp.  I don't prefer his body mesh, so I copied my bodyslide output (Bodyslided? Bodyslid?) body meshes  and my female body textures to the respective folders:  From: /meshes/actors/character/character assets/female_*.nif (body, hands, head, and feet) /textures/actors/character/female/female_*.dds (body, hands, and head) To: /meshes/PSQ/SuccubusBody/ /textures/PSQ/SuccubusBody/ I did tweak my body textures in photoshop with his tattoo files (I think I had to resize AND reposition the tattoos when I copied them to the layer, but I can't remember; it was a long time ago ).  There's also bodyslide files available for the armor he has. I did tweak the base nifs to have the right texture pathing, though I don't know if that's necessary (that should all be read from the esp and overwrite the paths specified in the nif, but I'm paranoid ). Let me know if you want/need my tweaked files. Yay, I'm stupid... As long as you just install the mod from that link (don't activate the plugin), the textures will be there. Again, they should be overwritten by the texture set paths specified in PSQ's esm, but if not, they'll still be there. Yay for being a moron!  Edit: Aaaand you'll need to copy the meshes that Bodyslide will output for the armor:  From: /meshes/erf_succubus/armor To: /meshes/PSQ/SuccubusArmor/ As a side note, that armor is technically a zapped and slightly modified version of CT77's remodeled Daedric armor, but it is more adjusted than I was willing to do anything with. And it looks cool anyway. But I can't get the cuirass to show up in succubus form regardless . Boots and gloves work fine though. Edited July 25, 2016 by nb097

Even if you never intend to modify the mod, the source is invaluable for showing how it works.

Â I use Mod Organizer, and i can only tell you what works for me: Â PSQ 3.2.6 - priority 270 PSQ Transform Pack - priority 184 PSQ Fixed Textures 3.2 - priority 185 Â The only thing important on priorities is that fixed textures be higher than the transform pack. Where the base mod is does not matter. Always open your mod properties and check conflicts - make sure the right thing gets overlaid. Especially important for FNIS. Â I recommend not leaving anything in Overwrite - make anything in there it's own mod. For example I have "FNIS Generated - Succubus" as a mod. I have "Overwrites - Succubus" as a mod for SKSE JSON generated files.

Whenever i revert back to human form my char head and body disappears. Im using CBBE hdt body. Everything works fine apart from changing back to human form. Anyone know whats up? Â Oh i should point out that it used to work fine with older version of PSQ. just started playing again after about a year. Â

stonefisher Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Hi i love this mod, So adaptable to peoples needs for a succubus mod. I do have a couple feature request though, Â 1. Separate satiation decay sliders for human and succubus forms. This would allow players to have it cost a lot to maintain a human form in public and run the risk of running out of power and having to switch to succubus mode and getting chased by a horde of guards. Or maybe the other way round when you transform into a succubus killing machine with lots of buffs tearing your enemies limb from limb it takes a lot of energy to maintain the succubus form. Â 2. Allow the succubus form to read facegen data from a different location so that the head can be transformed as well. Personally I want to make it for my play through that my human form is a petite female who transforms into a terrifying orc headed succubus. Â Â And on a different subject, can someone explain what it is and how to set up the tattoo malarkey that appears with your satiation level. Â Cheers

Also I am having trouble with the whole creating transformation pack of my own, that I just leave it where she stays normal looking even after transforming to a succubus
