PSQ PlayerSuccubusQuest for Sexlab

Getting ctd on updated sexlab frameworks 1.61b and sexlab aroused redux while using newest version of this mod on new game.  CTD happens when loading a save where character has succubus toggled on in mcm menu.  If loading save before becoming succubus game loads fine.  Been an advent user of previous versions when sexlab framework 1.59c was out and never had a problem.  Confused as to why this is happening.  Is newest version for sexlab 1.60.2 specifically only and incompatible with v1.61b?

your kinda saying 2 diferent things or 3 different things that don't make sense :

sl 1.60.2 is not the newest, 1.61 is

you said its a new game, but you're trying to load a save as tho its not new

if all you did from the new game was become the succubus and save it there shouldn't be a problem

seems to me you've saved the game somewhere else and you're having a standard skyim load issue, try loading the above listed save first then the current save you wanted

zaz menu freeing option doesn't work even if he detect 1 AI controling me and the console command enableplayercontrols doesn't work either.

 

I haven't desinstalled/cleaned/reinstalled yet, unless problem come from loading and playing with an old save in between even if i havent activated the quest on this other character ?

that may affect it as well if the above mentioned key didn't fix it you'll need to completely uninstall psq of both versions and clean the scripts  before upgrading to the current

clean install if you upgraded from an older save as you said this was an older save, don't need to clean the save if you've been on the same psq version the whole time

check your key definitions, i use spacebar to activate and don't have the issue, if your key definitions are default then maybe its not intended to be used on default

Sorry, let me clarify. I'm using sexlab v1.61b and aroused redux v27a, the newest versions of these mods, with succubus v2.91a and it runs perfect (just wanted to point out Succubus 2.91a also ran perfectly well with sexlab 1.59c).  When I updated to succubus v3.2.2 I started a new game to test out the update.  (Note that the requirement for this version was sexlab v1.60.2 back in october of 2015, not the newest version of sexlab frameworks)  This is the way I test out mods to see if there are incompatibility issues and if it is worth making the new changes:

 

1.  Update mod, start new game

2.  Make 2 saves, 1st one before toggling on updated mod in MCM menu and 2nd one after toggling them on (in this case succubus 3.2.2)

3.  Exit Skyrim and starting it backup (KEY STEP in mod testing)

4.  Loading 2nd save with updated mod toggled on in MCM menu (succubus 3.2.2)---if there is no CTD there is no issues---if there is a constant CTD when attempting to load it there is a compatibility issue (no brainer there)

5.  If 2nd save has constant CTD on startup switch over to 1st save to see if there is any issue---if no constant CTD on load attempts this still tells me the problem is coming from succubus v3.2.2 being toggled on---if 1st save did have CTD then the compatibility issue is stemming from somewhere else.

 

With this method of testing I found I could not load a new game save with succubus 3.2.2 toggled on (2nd save) but could load a new game save with it toggled off (1st save).  Using this finding I've reluctantly had to stick with succubus 2.91a which has no issues with sexlab v1.61b and arouse redux v27a.  So again with this question, is succubus v3.2.2 specifically to be used only for sexlab 1.60.2 since the description on main page clearly states requirement is sexlab v1.60.2 and not v1.60+ or newer?  If so why does succubus 2.91a run well with most up to date sexlab 1.61b?

ohh, so you're using an older version of psq just fine attempting to update those files into a new game

new game is good, but you forgot to clear the old files before installing the new files - there are 2 files aside from the dummy meshes, for psq 3.2 within the download file:

if you've updated your psq 2.9 version from older versions there originally was an seq file in there:

that seq file won't cause you any problems used in any other psq 2 versions upgraded from it, but will cause problems with psq 3 versions

 

if that's not the case or if you've already deleted that extra file then you have a load order issue or an issue with aroused redux, nothing to do with sl1.6.1b

All old files were removed before updating to new version, no remaining files in SEQ folder or anywhere else.  v2.91a uses same transform dummy files and folders as v3.2.2 so I didn't have to redo all the meshes and textures for transformation purposes.  I don't use RND or iNeed so I have no need of downloading the psq rnd compatibility patch.  Shouldn't be a problem with aroused redux because its basically an overhaul of the original sexlab aroused but with a lot less stress on script performance and papyrus.  Here is the load order used when running LOOT:

that modlist is too long for me to check everything against psq or the sl update...

i know bbluxury suites filled with papyrus errors and that xpmse plugin is old if anything in those mod updates applies changes to the skeleton that might require an update to xpmse as well, but that's still all i can help without the log

I glanced at your mods, Altough not related to your problem I must add that The dance of death and UFO is way too old to use and will most likely cause issues for you (swap for Violenz and AFT/EFF)

clean install if you upgraded from an older save as you said this was an older save, don't need to clean the save if you've been on the same psq version the whole time

check your key definitions, i use spacebar to activate and don't have the issue, if your key definitions are default then maybe its not intended to be used on default

 

 

Thanks for this, I was using the T key to active so I tried swapping it for the spacebar key, it didn't work at first but once I saved and reloaded the game everything is fine!

All old files were removed before updating to new version, no remaining files in SEQ folder or anywhere else.  v2.91a uses same transform dummy files and folders as v3.2.2 so I didn't have to redo all the meshes and textures for transformation purposes.  I don't use RND or iNeed so I have no need of downloading the psq rnd compatibility patch.  Shouldn't be a problem with aroused redux because its basically an overhaul of the original sexlab aroused but with a lot less stress on script performance and papyrus.  Here is the load order used when running LOOT:

Nice segue.  LOL, yeah I realize I have a lot of old mods still in use but they do what they are made for and I have little issues with them.  UFO does what I need it to do and I solo most of the time even against dragons on master difficulty game setting with Deadly Dragons mod setting at expert level which makes it a long 10-15min fight for survival even on low level dragon encounters and I like it that way.  Honestly companions and followers in Oblivion were a lot smarter and always keep up the pace when following whereas in Skyrim I constantly have to look over my shoulder to make sure Lydia or Jenassa is still there.  What happened to the gaming mechanics on that aspect, really?  Why did they slack off in that department after making followers and companions actually useful in Oblivion, Fallout 3, New Vegas but dumb it down 90% in Skyrim?  Even the A.I. for the followers in Fallout 4 are just as bad.  Its the one reason why I never bothered to get AFT or EFF because either way a follower is just going to slow me down, literally, even if AFT/EFF is better than UFO.  Its like one of these moments.

After spending lots of OCD hours spent on this little problem, I think I may have it figured out and its running now...fingers crossed.  Not really sure what I did but it works for the time being.  Uninstalled and reinstalled SL 1.61b, FNIS 6.2, SL aroused redux 27a, succubus 3.2.2, ran FNIS, ran loot several times to make sure the load orders were right and they were cause LOOT didn't even bother moving anything the second time.  Started a new game and ran the testing method I posted earlier and found no issues this time around.  If any do come up I'll post it up.

UFO is not bad in itself, just old. But in conjunction with some mods it can cause issues. If it's working fine for you guys there is no reason to switch.

I managed to fix my CTD after jumping with animated wings problem.  

 

I was using NMM and although the VERY FIRST THING i did was to try and clean out all remnants of animated wings from both NMM and my skyrim install as my instincts told me that was the problem, but i completely forgot i never actually did a clean install of NMM like with everything else. when i was looking at the logs and wondering why i had so many errors with the DLC's even though i wan't installing anything that should modify them it suddenly hit me like a tonne of bricks and my face hit the desk when i realised how obvious it was.

 

So yeah, i got rid of NMM and it is fixed now, played it for a day and no issue. I think it was a problem with animated wings conflicting with remnants of an older version of itself.  

 

Apologies for wasting time as it was nothing to do with PSQ , and thanks to the people who tried to help.

I'm having an issue with this mod conflicting with spouses enhanced. it seems that when spouses enhanced tries to play an animation that PSQ also uses it will cause a crash. Does anyone know if this is fixable?

I also had another issue when i uninstalled PSQ and it casued the face textures and mesh to not display.

I'd really like to be able to get these two mods to work together if possible.

I'd also like some help to fix my missing face issue if i decide to uninstall PSQ later.

For problems face is gone after uninstalling PSQ, reload the face of the mesh in ShowRaceMenu.

How does breast scale work? I can't figure what the scale and max values are for. Height and butt change when you transform from 1 (i suppose since human values have been removed in the new version) to the value you give but it doesn't for breasts.

In the new version, now it is used only by when you transformed.

It calculated additional to Scale setting in Racemenu.

I am tried or can not be it, but gave up because it was not possible to change the color of the face of the NPC.

Just got to the point where i noticed my automatic soul trap isn't working either (have black soul gems and the black star).  I haven't upgraded my PSQ version since i started this character and i did a clean install of everything to a new drive during that last issue so i can only think this is mod conflict related. I'll have a quick go at fixing it but this doesn't both me too much.
