Shadzy Posted July 13, 2025 Posted July 13, 2025 As the title says, i just want to know from peoples perspective or someone to explain to me, what's better when it comes to loverslab, which one has better animation? and what are the pro and cons with each others
Flip a coin... otherwise, don't ask here in the forum -> there are several factions here – all of whom have very good arguments from their own perspective – why they consider their version to be the only alternative. Even though I'm now using the AE version (1.6.1170) myself – I make NO recommendations!
plutocene Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 Skyrim SE, AE version 1.6.1170. There is truly no reason not to use it at this point. *Ducks and runs*
MadMansGun Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 LE for me, but i'm a animator and the tools i use only work in LE. so it's steam v1.6.1170 or gog v1.6.1179 for you....unless your crazy and want to go with vr that is. 3
garniu Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 At this point SE already passed LE in terms of mods so unless you already have a huge modlist on LE there's no point in still playing LE (unless your pc is garbage). SE runs better as it has 64 bit exe instead of 32 and is more stable. There are a small amount of mods that are LE only (but you could probably find an SE port if you searched long enough). It's your call what version you pick but I recommend SE in the long run. 2
NymphoElf Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 Unless you have an extremely specific reason to stay on LE (such as MadMansGun) then you really should go with at least 1.5.97 (SE) or 1.6.1130 (AE). SE/AE has everything LE has and more.

Neo Heero Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 AE (version v1.6.1170). Almost all mods have been updated to SE/AE or have an alternative. Additionally there are a lot of mods and utilities exclusive to SE/AE and finally SE/AE has ESL support, which means you get a bit more breathing room for small mods like weapons, armor, spells, patches, etc. So you don't longer have to rely on merged patches just to make room for mods because of the 254-255 mods limit. Btw if you use Sexlab and find that it’s a bit slow when starting animations, you can install Sexlab+, which is a patch that speeds up Sexlab significantly.

The gist in the threads is, it's not working and will never be,,,

The phrase "throwing out the baby with the bath water" comes to mind...

The phrase "throwing out the baby with the bath water" comes to mind... I'd say you quoted the wrong posting, but yes - if you are into bondage and want to use chains (or adavanced stuff like ZAP9) you're better off with LE. t.ara doesn't support ZAP on SE/AE and doesn't care if it's even possible to transfer. I am well arware that with Binding and Devious Curses, development is really active on AE. Of course, if you want fancy HDT clothes, advanced animations etc.pp you're better off with AE. But if you don't care for frills but really, really want chains - stick with LE. The OP asked for arguments, not for mere opinion.

But my argument is that SE has everything LE has and more. You're the one with the opinion-oriented position. Your only point in LE's favor is a cosmetic that's supposedly "impossible to make" or "will never happen" for SE while having absolutely no proof to support that claim, aside from an unlinked thread filled with further speculation. How is my stance opinionated when you're the one making the subjective and unverifiable claims? Edited July 14, 2025 by NymphoElf
CaptainJ03 Posted July 14, 2025 Posted July 14, 2025 2 hours ago, NymphoElf said: But my argument is that SE has everything LE has and more. Yes, you're right. With one tiny exception. 2 hours ago, NymphoElf said: Your only point in LE's favor is a cosmetic that's supposedly "impossible to make" or "will never happen" for SE Yes, all I'm saying is, for a very specific scenario, which is quite unlikely the OP is looking for, LE is the better choice. For everything else, stick with AE, that's what I've been using recently.
blank_v Posted July 15, 2025 Posted July 15, 2025 I was having same question before starting again with Skyrim around a month ago. And after ~200 hours of using AE, well, I would not go for LE unless You want to make mods. I still use LE but only for creating my mods, LE CK is less retarded while SE CK require tons of fixes to even work... and then it barely even works But as for playing, AE is a lot better, I remember in LE I had to do careful Load Order and File Order or game would crash, when I started modding AE I decided that "Fuck it all Ill fix errors if any show" And tbh. I was throwing mods into my AE Setup at random, and they are still at random, both Fire and Load Order in MO2 If that was LE then I would not be even able to start the game But because its AE, game starts with no problems, I only cared for the little big things like for example not allowing SexLab to overwrite original PapyrusUtil ( Why does SL even include Papyrus Util files wtf... ) There is few annoying things in AE like for example sprinting is used as toggle instead of push... which is WTF hope they fired idiot who suggested that... But for all the stupid things on AE there are fixes to make it normal like in LE, and You are left with a bit better Graphics and a lot better engine. If You want to play the game, get the AE version. If You want to make mods for the game, get the LE version. If You decide to download LE version instead, You can use @donttouchmethere Mr. Pickles Conglomerate Blog to get work with LE Because LE is less stable and any issue in Load Order = CTD :x... That's my opinion :x... Spoiler Soon ill have 8000 hours in CK xD yay ( LE ofc )
BAB PEEG Posted July 15, 2025 Posted July 15, 2025 From my own personal experience se has been VASTLY more stable then le, it does seem to have a memory leak like the game will start to lose frames then after a few hours just crash.
Raven 54 Posted July 15, 2025 Posted July 15, 2025 Not this .... Again, do a frickin type search, walk your own path, make your own decisions. 2
