Alarm bells are definitely ringing, but I'll be watching on the sides until people more knowledgeable starts taking things apart under the hood.

 

Can't wait for the modders to cook (if it'll be possible at all).

Users who like nsfw content like me can choose not to buy it yet, at least wait until the official mod manager is released in May. As I commented before, the game content is basically the same as sime4, which is quite boring. I was excited to see them support mods at first, but now I am disappointed with kjun (developer).

 

They have made changes, but I still recommend buying it when the official mod manager is released in May.

Good news! Per Inzoi discord Denuvo will be removed from the early access game and looks likely it will not come back for the full release either. They made a statement about wanting to allow Inzoi to be very configurable as well. Good news going forward.

Mods are pretty much the only reason Sims is still going. The base game is boring as hell after a little while and the mods add years to the games shelf life. If inZoi spit in the eye of modders then the game's essentially DOA. How many games have we seen being hailed as a "Sims killer" over the decades? All have fallen by the wayside. inZoi has my curiosity just because of how it looks. All they have to do is essentially copy the Sims without nickel and diming the customer and they'll blow them out of the water, add in ease of making mods and it's a wide open goal.

Looks like they kicked Denuvo recently. It's no longer mentioned on the storepage and there is a little buzz going on in the forums. Trolling, yes. But the reason seems to be true.

That's a big green flag, no idea how open they'll be with NSFW content, but at least Denuvo is gone, so that's a big win in my book

If adult game play mods are doable then this will be the first full retail price game I will purchase since TW3. That world dial where you can turn a city from pristine to post apocalypse using just a slider has so much potential.

Bought the game the hour it came out after work. The framework is there, as in the game is the framework, it's a gold mine waiting to be used up like a French whore in the 1940s. The fact the devs are so open for their support for modding really has me excited for May when the dev tools drop.

 

For now I'm content with the base game. Give it a couple weeks and nude mods will spring up by early to mid April.....or the day of the release, holy shit Francis, R34 artists have to be on crack to even do what they do in the speed it takes to 3D model and texture everything before the game fully releases internationally.

 

I would love and possibly be afraid of seeing a speedrunner vs a R34 artist go against each other. 😵‍💫

I'm looking forward to seeing what the future of this game has to offer.

 

However its currently in Early access and it's quite apparent when playing the game. From every object that isn't the size of a building just suddenly popping into existence and extremely poor performance, to the game lacking QoL features like Sims 4's Pie Menus when interacting with Zois.

 

I'll wait to play it once it's in a much better state so I don't burn myself out and ruin my first real playthrough.

yeah this game is very similar with when POE2 early access before any patches, its good game but like half of it is missing

One thing I'm really hoping when official mod tools comes out is the ability to make full custom worlds.

I really dont know what people mean by bad performance, I'm on a low end system by today's standards, on par with to even lower than minimum, and i manage 75fps 1080p on medium/low settings. Though according to task manager, the game seems to be HEAVILY cpu tied and barely even touching the GPU. I think a lot of people and potentially you too are heavily cpu capped, or there's just a horrendous bug they're working on. That's i would think the big thing they would've focused on anyway, because the one thing sims has over many popular franchises is accessibility with system requirements, and inzoi has some very reasonable system requirements for an unreal engine 5 slopgame.

I can't play the game because I'm on Mac, but at least one reviewer is reporting that same-sex couples start out with 0 relationship to each other and can't interact romantically... that's a major problem – even TS1 let same-sex couples kiss lmao

This thread is for discussing the game, not randomly uploading whatever mods are out there. Since InZoi is perfectly available via steam and looking to become a pretty popular game, mod uploads should go in the file page system, provided ofc that it's your mod or that you have permission.

That was fast. Nude mod does work, but has a static mesh unfortunately. Also, there is some clipping with certain clothes.

This mod is borderline unusable. Maker Doesnt allow to change the shape of the body. And anyone who has an outfit on is a warped demon XD. So cool shit for day 1 but not yet there.
